  1. When I heard "Dual Specifications" were making it into the game, I don't know what you all thought, but my understanding was that you could utilize abilities from multiple Skill Trees, one being your Primary, and another your Secondary. At least, that's what I hope they do. So a Juggernaut could put 5 Skill Points into Tier 1 skills on say Immortal as the Primary, which would then raise your Secondary to Tier 2 as well as the Primary; Allowing you to become more powerful, but also Spec into specific roles. Also the amount of skill points we're given shouldn't be increased. I think dual specifications should only be allowed at 50. Restricting people to play a specific role until then would be benficial when teaming with random people, "LF1M Tank" not "LF1M Tank who has X skill, and not X skill. But also has X skill for X situation." At 50, I would presume that people have enough knowledge from respecs, which I believe should be given out for free at regular increments (time or level), and trial and error to make educated decisions about what powers they do and don't want. Even with this idea you'd be hard pressed to find the "Ultimate build" with so many equipment options and Set Bonuses from higher level gear. *Since looking over the Topic more, it seems that they're talking about talking about having multiple Builds. That's what we called them on City of Heroes/Villains.
  2. Not a bad name. I give it a hard 7/10. I just don't like the look of Azazil. Makes me think of Azurill/Azumarill from Pokemon. And Basil, the herb. My Juggernaut is Lord Hephaestus Mons. Lord looked better to me, I've always liked the name Hephaestus, and Mons (Latin for Mountain - Fits for a Tank. Also because of Olympus Mons - Mount Olympus, home of the Greek Gods.) because I struggled to think of something, and the legacy pop up started to piss me off. But I felt a punchy, one syllable last name worked better with the long first name. I have another character, a Sith Sorcerer, called Darth Typhoeus Mons; Hephaestus' older brother. Typhoeus is seen as the monstrous version of Hephaestus in some Greek stories. He is therefore more cruel, and twisted by the Dark side.
  3. I had this happen to me in twice Huttball last night, and when I reconnected the camera made everything bar the environment, like turret controls and other players go invisible. Which made PvP hell. Restarted my machine after the second time, and everything seemed to be okay. No problems for the rest of the night. It seems to be when you jump to get line of sight on someone, then when falling, you end up leaping through a platform. Or the target moves behind cover. Very odd.
  4. Hayeth, this needs to be seen by BioWare - Consider this my signature. Taking into account how much they've learned from other titles, I'm surprised they didn't lift this from CoX. It'd be perfect; A Master and Apprentice/Padawan system. Without this mechanic, the game will suffer. It helps expand the game so much, allowing people to participate more and experience more content without making it less challenging. I left City of Heroes just before SWTOR was released, so I'm relatively up to date with the goings on over there. For example, taking a level 50 character in CoH and doing a level 15 Task Force (Flashpoints and Heroics, essentially) was still a challenge. Your powers got Exemplared down to level 18 (enhancements were too, but that's more complicated) so you still saw some advantages, but nothing that tipped the scales too much in your favor. That being said, I don't know how they'd exemplar gear in SWTOR. As mentioned elsewhere in the topic, CoH is based on enhancements in powers. Reducing the Rank of your individual powers down to what you would have at level 20 if you were participating in a level 15 Flashpoint may be a step in the right direction. I think gear should be left as is, with you being exemplared to the level of the mission. That would give a fairer advantage, I reckon. Of course with SWTOR exemplaring should be more of a choice. Players should be able to choose whether they want to steamroll a mission or not. - Hephaestus (SWTOR - Rogue Moon Server), Baltoro (CoX - Union Server)
