  1. Another one for Togruta! They are similar enough to Twi'leks so it might be easier for them to code them in. And they are just awesome!
  2. I know i sound like a total girl right now, but I know i speak for most of us when I beg for more fashionable gear because, well, we ARE girls darn it! We want to feel sexy/cute/cool! And one dancer outfit and one slave outfit is just not enough. Especially when one you have to get a key code for, and the other has the bottom buttflap part set as part of the chest piece. So if I just wanted to wear the slave top with my pants, I still have the hideous pink flap hanging down >.< Please help us! That is all. Side point - while he is happier than i am, i know my hubby wouldn't mind some better lookin gear for the guys too. DEFINITELY in the head gear department.
  3. <--- Clearly my vote is for varactyles. I've been wanting one to ride around on since the game first came out!
  4. Level 49 Sorcerer (Firs lightning and now a healer) - A blast to score with in huttball with force speed and friendly pulls. Don't have to worry about running low on power hardly, and the distance makes this a fun/easier class for noobs such as myself! Level 40 Trooper (gunner tree) - Does a good amount of damage from a distance too, and much harder to kill than my sorcerer, also fun! Level 32 Bounty Hunter (Guardian) - Grapple and guarding again make huttball fun! Decent damage, not as squishy as my sorcerer, and i feel has a good combo of melee and distance dps that makes this class very versatile to play = fun! Level 28 Jedi (dps) - Who doesnt love force jump? Most fun opener imo! To me, this class is a bigger challenge with managing your builds and cooldowns, large number of moves, and the pure melee gets a little chaotic for me at times, but the ease of killing others if you can get your rotation just right and damage output at the end makes this a class worth learning to master! I have a couple others, but these are so far my favorites!
  5. This is all great - thanks guys! I have a couple new tree configurations to try. Like I said, my hope in this was to still be a healer, but if/when I was attacked I had SOMETHING to hit them back with. After a solid week of pvp this tree has done nearly nothing for my damage, best option is to stun and run. My hubby rolled a bounty hunter guardian/dps hybrid for a long time and he was match best nearly everytime with high dps and high Protection . I think secretly I was hoping for a healer hybrid that could also do that lol. BW has since nerfed his hybrid for being OP. Thats fair - no class should be able to do it all. My healing hasn't had a noticable loss either without the aoe heal actually. The rooting bubble is VERY nice though! Not sure what im going to try next yet, maybe dip more into madness, but def want to play around with the points till I see some change somewhere Thanks again!
  6. Thank you. If you want to be a ball carrier, play a better ball carrier class. THAT BEING SAID - ANYONE can be a ball carrier for a few secs if you have a GOOD team who thinks and goes ahead and makes themselves available to pass. Case in point, my LEVEL 16 bounty hunter made a score last night. One game, our team was almost all mid range/lower dps with one tank and one healer...not ONE Inquisitor. Other team ahd three high level inquisitors. The game was a draw : 0-0. They could move the ball a little better, but we were slaughtering their whole team constantly. End story: I have a 48 Inquisitor who is fun to score with (but dps aint as hot and talk about SQUISHY!) and I have a 16 Bounty Hunter who I enjoy slaughtering others off the ball carrier. Both are fun - each class has their pluses. Its only fair. I think it'd be pretty boring if everyone did everything. Then whats the point of trying out different classes.
  7. I just switched my Sorcerer to 21/20/0. I used to be fully specced in lightning, which was fun, then i wanted to try healing full specc, which was even more fun...except for how my damage was literally nothing. I didn't stand ANY chance against anyone who would targets me. Which I guess is kind of the point. SO I decided to try this build - gives me my four main heals, including the instant, PLUS a good number of the damage increases and chain lightning. Just tried my first few pvp matches and I didnt see any decrease in my healing but not much increase in my damage lol. Im still focusing on healing as my main job. But has anyone tried this build or something similar? Does it work well and do you have any tips on it? Im wondering if a hybrid is any good for socerers...
  8. Personally, I'd rather have medal farmers who are, maybe not going for the main objective, but still guarding/healing/killing than the large number of people who altogether LEAVE the game because they are losing and left to fight a losing battle with a team of 5. I agree that its annoying when you see most of your team fighting random ppl in huttball instead of going for the goal, or you lose a door/turrett even though you have team mates were right there not paying attention, but id still rather have that then getting smeared across the floor because we're outnumbered. I like the incentive to now stay in the game your given, no matter the outcome. Plus, more players = more pvp! ^.^
  9. Yes - swtor has dropped from 1.7 million to 1.3 million. But thats still 1.3 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!! And the game has only been out relatively for only a few months. I think we are feeling the effects because imo they opened with maybe too many servers, so a lot of us are seeing a more dramatic drop then we should. But the soon to come migration should help that. True WOW has over ten million subscribers, but its taken over 10 years to get there. So I think swtor is right on track and is still a baby and has a lot of growing to do. With an income of over 19 million dollars a month, they still have PLENTY of funding to keep providing new content. So keep it up Bioware!!! Use our monies well!
  10. Healers are squishy, ESPECIALLY sorc. I know, I am one. If im targeted and stunned, I'm often destroyed in as quick as 3/4 moves DESPITE trying to healin myself. If it takes 3 of you to kill one healer, then your playing wrong. Sorry.
  11. Just a few tips...(and opinions) that are helpful that Ive noticed in PVP - some old probably, and some new that I see even higher levels doing, and some that just plain bug me. Most of these ive learned the hard way lol. Hopefully these help some to not make the same stupid mistakes ive made #1 - This is the most common, easily avoided, dumb thing I see a lot of players doing, so this is my first. For Alderaan and Voidstar, capping a door or turret does not go faster with more than one person capping it. So if one or two people STARTED before you, you are going to do NO GOOD by also trying to cap when an onslaught of the other team is coming on. If somone is capping already, your job is to keep the other team back/stunned. Ive seen this several times on Alderaan where up to 5 of my team mates are all trying to cap at the same time and we lose the gain of the turret because no one was trying to stun. #2 - This should seem pretty obvious, but it still happens - If your guarding a door or turret - WATCH IT! We've all lost a turret or door to a stealthy who snuck in behind someone who was standing right there but not paying attention. This happened to me once. I felt like an idiot. So don't do it. #3 - In line with #2, fight on the door/turret. The second you step too far away to fight is the second they'll sneak in to cap it. LOVE what your guarding - watch it, stay near it! Its a bad feeling seeing they're about to plant/cap and you are too far away. So don't do it. #4- In Huttball, be a PASSER and a PASSE. Only a few (if any)players are going to be specc'd to carry the ball very far. As a oober squishy sorc/healer,theoretically i should be the last person carrying the ball. But I make scores regularly to my surprise. This is because I think that as soon as I get the ball, I sure would like to pass it up to someone else! so I place myself ahead of the ball carrier most of the time in case he needs to pass and do my healing from there in the meantime. And like I already said, nearly everybody will need to pass sooner or later. In short, make sure your ahead of the ball carrier to pass! A passing team who thinks ahead is a winning team! No matter how low level/squishy you might be! #5 - Communication is a great thing - learn to use the pvp chat. Call out for help. Ask how other turrets or doors are. I Pvp with my hubby, and often we'll each take a side to keep eachother posted. It helps. #6 - If you're team is overpowered and bored with two turrets, resist the urge to triple cap. It frequently ends in losing two turrets. (Unless you need three to win, then by all means go for it!) Otherwise, 2/3 is a winner! Keep and protect them! Don't get greedy This is all! Hope these are some things we can all be more aware of
