Great question. This is also a point i would like to see some clarification.

I had no stuttering in the solo story mode that i did on the same toon as you.....deception sin. I also call my experience luck. A player in game chat told me to just run around the outside edge and id be fine. He was right. I didnt even hide behind a pillar.....i would run around while malgus was doing his aoe and his charge...then i would go back to chipping away at him. As far as the stuttering goes....it sounds as though you may just need to bite the bullet and upgrade your rig. This game requires much more than the minimum spec. I used to stutter in many places in this game until i built a new rig. All stuttering 95% gone.

I just love it when on a low level planet and the npcs inside a heroic are attacking me with force sticks. Hit ability: "parry" Hit ability: "complete miss" Hit ability: "complete miss" again And this is all in a row.....on a planet thats supposedly 40 levels below me. In the meantime, theyre beating you down......and with all that going on, your companion cant make up their mind which npc to focus on. Or, hey lets go agro the other group over there minding their own business. Hey, i dont mind a small challenge...but this is way off. Id like to know that i died because i failed a mechanic, or just used a wrong approach.....heck i can accept that easily. To just die or almost die because of stats getting pummeled by this crazy sync is just...well crazy. I probably wont be around much longer. Im tolerating this just for a single set of conquest 326 gear....i have two more pieces to go and then ill see where i go from here.

I think this is a visual glitch. Ive seen these icons above the name as well on a few people....but not everyone. The only time ive experienced this is on fleet.

This isnt much of an acknowledgement: "About companion strength, we’re investigating why they are underperforming in level-synced content." But, i guess ill take what i can get. To me, it so very much reads to me that they did it on purpose and they tell us its a bug....when its really not. At this point, i just want them to give the comps just a little strength back....they dont have to totally revert them back to 6.x stats. Theres no point to letting players do what they did for so long with their comps just to completely shut them out of it with new additions to the game. Its like having a door literally slammed in your face......and who likes that....nobody, thats who.

I never said there wasnt a bug......nor did I say anything about hiding anywhere. The guy is a bit desperate to get it done...as hes mentioned....so i threw out there what worked for me....i didnt say it was guaranteed to work. Just run around the outside edge while hes doing his abilities....then when hes done, dps him. Wash rinse repeat until done. Worked like a charm for me. Stay out of the middle as much as you can. Youll get hit by his charge and the big aoe he does. Plus, youre risking falling through the ground. Stay on the edge.

I see nothing mentioned of the companion situation. I see nothing mentioned about any compensation for boxes earned but not received. Besides those two issues, im glad to see work is progressing. Thank you.

Im tolerating it because its Star Wars. Thats the only reason im still enduring this awful expansion. Just fix this damn scaling and companion issue and ill be happy again.

The whole companion fiasco is the biggest reason im not happy right now. I dont even care about the mod equips i cant use over this companion situation. My companions were a ton of work....even more so than gearing was involved. Companions being as weak as they are now is the single biggest issue i have...period. I see no change as of yet on the PTS. Revert the companions back to 6.x. please and leave them alone.

Also a founder, played a couple weekend betas...and had all 7 days early access. Unsubbed and will be premium status on March 10th. I put a really great attempt on 7.0....and really tried to adapt to it. It just doesnt do anything for me and im already looking for somewhere else to go. This is the shortest subbed period ive ever done since this game has existed. As far as conquest, i got 3 mill points last week doing the same thing over and over again. Because of the horrible scaling, i wasnt able to enjoy some of the content i ran in 6.x. Mek sha is a horrible place to be right now. I hope they fix these issues quickly and not make us wait weeks or even months.

So what Balmorra heroic are you speaking about and what level is the toon youre doing it with. Id like to go see for this myself and im willing to go check it out. I currently only do one heroic per planet and move on and ill pick the quickest one. (Empire Side - Toxic Bombs) My main is a deception sin and my comp stays in heal spec. Some fights are tricky now but everything is still very doable. My only challenging zone now is Mek Sha. That place takes careful planning now.

All of them with the exception of two are characters you met in onslaught. The twi'lek at the bottom is Sa'har....she was introduced to you in the Disorder cinematic trailer. Im not sure who the pistol wielding soldier is on the far left.....perhaps its a manaan soldier but not sure.

Thats the tactic i use on my deception sin. Works like a charm and if you keep things timed correctly......you wont get overwhelmed with spawns. Whittle the boss down when you can but make damn sure you focus fire those snipers down with half the room agroed to yourself.

I use to solo all of them quite often when it was still fairly new content. To me they are slog fests and just not my cup of tea anymore. If BW would give me a better incentive to do them then i would. Its challenging content no doubt, especially those final bosses. Its just old content ive done hundreds of times with no sizable reward....so i dont desire them at all...even for conquest. I can make more points faster doing other things.

I agree. I was always a casual player in wow and didnt participate in very many raids. I would dungeon and do quests when available and did all that with an affliction lock. Legion was a great period for locks. I played through BFA but the changes were detrimental to my class. I havent been back to try shadowlands (ive visited every exp so far) but with all ive heard about how awful the gear wheel is over there, im not sure if i want to involve myself with that right now. Heck, im taking a small break from this game right now. I think WoW would be the last place id go to try to relax. lol

The only time i ever see an unpopulated leader board (previous week) is because the GL hasnt invaded its new planet yet. Since the new target hasnt been chosen...the system cant update and wont show the previous week. I took a week off from the game, so if i log on today, i wont see my name at all on the top 10 list if the new target planet has been chosen. This has been the way its worked for me for as long as conquest has been out.

As long as developers continue to make the mistake of not separating PVP an PVE changes then this will always be an issue....no matter where players go.

I consider myself a conquest fanatic....because i choose to just causally care bear through the game now to stay away from all the grouped content i used to do. Conquest points are about all i do in this game now.....yea i know, its pretty boring. Ill do lots of old content to be first in the points in the member list...sometimes in both our imp and pub guild. That being said, even i, dont desire running through star fortresses. Theyre too little points for too much (i dont mind work,,,but give me something for it for petes sake) Heroics, planet missions, kill counts, mission counts, what ever....ill do it. Star fortresses?.....ill pass.

Heres an old thread relevant to your issue. https://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=421171 It may or may not help but there it is. I think the biggest thing is the droids aoe. You and your comp cannot be in that aoe or the damage will out weight the healing. Put your comp on passive and get yourselves out of the aoe effect, then take him off passive and continue the fight. Wash, rinse, repeat until the droid is down. Make sure your gear is upgraded as well.....or gain a couple levels. There are lots of ways to make it easier on yourself.

This ^^ I found out rather quickly in a couple areas of that flashpoint that target priority made a huge difference. The last boss is the biggest example. The snipers seem to be every ones demise. My tactic was simply to agro half of the mobs that spawned so that they would not annihilate my companion. After that downing the two snipers i agroed to me first, then whittle the rest down. This tactic not only worked once but many times. It was actually a fun fight.

I havent tried that yet.....yet ive played the jukeboxes many times and never had any issues. Ive never had any issues with the music until i started really putting a lot of time into the pub side of this game. Ill try the jukebox deal and see what happens. Odessen seems to be the the starting point of the bug. As long as i stay off that world, then no issue. Travel to Odessen and whatever music was playing, and the current music stacks together.
