Just thought I would update everyone to let them know that it has now been an hour and ive yet to complete a single match of pvp. It has now been 6 disconnects in he space of an hour. Really bioware, I mean are you actually ****i g serious? If you can take time out of putting all your efforts into the next legacy perk that will cost 4m credits for minimal usefulness and maybe work on having a functional game that would be just swell.

I only logged in around 40 minutes ago and have already disconnected 3 times. There's nothing even wrong with my internet cause I'm surfing the web on my iPad just fine and I can log back into the server straight away. I said I'd come on to do the pvp daily. First time I disconnect is with 30 secs left on but all when I was on the winning team, the other two times were as I just entered and just before I entered pvp. So still 0/6 on the daily for me after 40 mins. Whenever you feel like letting me play a game that actually works bioware it will be much appreciated .

What is the reasoning behind, (and are there any plans to change), the way you can buy level 20 and level 40 pvp gear before reaching these levels but you can't purchase battlemaster or war hero gear before 50 and store it? As it is, on my server at least, there are a group of republic players in full augmented war hero gear who literally make winning a game impossible when playing against them. As a result, fresh 50s on the empire side have a hard time grinding 50 and 60 commendations per match to save up for BM gear. I've also noticed fresh 50s on the republic side gear up quite fast as a result of the frequent wins. Allowing people to buy BM gear before level 50 would surely balance this problem out and would also fairly benefit those who level through pvp and currently have to sit at the commendation cap with nothing to spend them on.

Actually not a bad idea. It might get a bit boring but it's better than 4 of you going up against 8 of the other team.

Yeah I agree with this,if anything I want more of it. There's an npc quest giver on Ord Mantell who, when you get near her, says "hey keep your head down and get over here" which leads into the mission you get from her. Was very impressed with the likes of that.

Will 1.3 see an increase in the war zone commendation cap or the removal of the level requirement to buy battle master/war hero gear or will those of us who level through pvp continue to lose out as our commendations income is capped at such a low level with no resourceful way to spend them?

Same here OP and completely agree. Loading screens seem to be a general problem so I would hope if they dont fix them they could at least extend the deserter curse for the less fortunate people. Although just so you know, once the loading screen is finished just spam 'esc'. Most of the time that gets me out of the scene before it even starts,while the three dots in. Th bubble thing is over my head. Another hint, if you make an alt, make a consular or an inquisitor. They have a move called force speed which is a god send!

I've been saying this for some time now. My char is only level 19 and has reached the cap. At the moment my main is on his 5th day of level. 50 pvp dailies in order to afford ONE piece of war hero gear. I do not want this grind when I get my alt to 50. Pvp is the only thing I do. Why should those of us who pvp be punished by not being allowed to accumulate, in essence, pvp money beyond 2000 commendations. Also, this way I don't slowly have to regrind all the commendations again at 50 to get the battle master gear while I'm thrown straight into the deep end against a bunch of pre mades. Honestly I wish they'd change this before server mergers/transfers.

You're right actually I forgot about that. Better yet it's valor rank 40 not level 40 as valor levels faster than xp up until about rank 50. Still though, that means I can afford one battle master item and convert it to a war hero item at 50. That's still pretty lame

+1 I posted the same thing in the suggestion box but let's face it, no one reads that. It's a no brainier. And with the ridiculously low cap on the amount of wz commendations you can carry, my char, currently level 18, will be stuck on 2000 commendations until level 50. Surely this kind of thing is needed to give fresh 50s a chance against pre mades. Hope they do something about this soon, this is probably my highest priority in the game believe it or not.

Shamelessly bumping and I don't care cause I'm hoping the devs see this an implement a change sooner rather than later.

You can buy recruit gear as soon as you hit 50, which you need to. You can't buy good pve gear at 50. Plus I'm doing the same thing now as I would at level 50. I'm working for the gear just like i Would at Level 50

I made an alt who I'm levelling mainly through pvp cause I've done the first few republic planets too many times to have the willpower to do them again. The alt is level 16 and already has the 2000 warzone commendations which is the maximum one can hold at any time. I figured, seeing as pvp gear grinding is such a drag on my main, why not get a head start and purchase battlemaster gear and store it away on my ship, so that I can pull it out when I hit 50 instead of dying in 2 seconds in warzones on my 300,000 worth of recruit gear as I slowly grind battlemaster gear. Anyway, I went to buy a battlemaster item today and saw that I had to be level 50 just to buy it. I figured I may as well start stocking up on ranked warzone commendations as my only resourceful alternative, but alas you need have valor rank 40 to purchase ranked warzone commendations. What I'm recommending is, removing the level requirement to BUY battlemaster/war hero gear or at the very least, increase the amount of warzone commendations you can carry to something more significant. You need pvp gear once you reach 50, and instead of forcing people to fork out ~300000 creds for recruit gear, could those who pvp pre-50 not buy battlemaster/war hero gear in advance. Its not like it would be an exploit, once you reach 50, you need the best pvp gear you can get regardless of if you're a fresh 50 because the pre mades will destroy you no matter what. Please remove this restriction, otherwise pvp will be a lot more tedious for me for my nest 34 levels, as well as less rewarding, with the result of more grinding when I reach 50 (which I already do enough of on my main).

Are there any plans (if not, hint hint) to either increase the amount of warzone commendations allowed to be held or to allow sub-50s to buy battlemaster/war-hero gear. At the moment I have a character I'm levelling predominantly through pvp and I've already reached the 200 warzone commendations cap at only level 16. I can't buy Battlemaster gear until level 50 and I can't even stock up on ranked warzone commendations until valor rank 40. Once you reach 50 you need expertise gear to survive in warzones, hence the recruit gear for fresh 50s, but would it really make a difference to allow people to buy battlemaster/war-hero gear before level 50 and save it (again, if not, hint hint!).

New armour styles : Yes, my sorc looks like a medieval drag queen A looking for group tool : Not fussed A total rework of the space mission. Turn it into "Tie Fighter" or "Elite". : Yes (agree again) New class missions : yes New pvp warzones : Definitely Much faster leveling for alts so you can skip all the sidequests : No, if anything it's too fast as it is. More Legacy options : If they cut the prices a bit then yes. Each to their own I suppose.

Anyone know any fast methods for grinding valor level? I bought the war hero schematic box only to realise you need a valor rank of 70 to wear the armor, and I'm only at rank 49 . I read ages ago it gets extremely tedious at rank 50. Please tell me this has been relaxed since 1.2?

I have no idea what that means . Is that an accessory or what is it?

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue. I have very few complaints with this game but this is by far my biggest. Unfortunately I play on a laptop which isn't designed for gaming, although the lag isn't always that bad, but when it comes to war zones, especially since 1.2 there have been longer loading screens meaning I'm waiting ages for the loading screen, when it finally loads, I'm kicked right back out cause I 'deserted' the war zone. The only way I can actually get into a war zone in time is if I'm on the fleet or in my ship, otherwise it takes too long to load and I'm kicked out before I even get in. just happened to me there on Belsavis. Waited a good few mins loading The Civil War screen, as soon as it finishes I see the main loading screen, then straight back to the Belsavis loading screen, which in itself isn't a delight to wait through, although that's not such a problem. I'm aware my lag is a lot to do with my laptop but I know I'm not the only one. I see people join and then about a minute later you see them leave. Pvp is what I do most but I'd like to not always be ship/fleet bound. I have little lag issues actually playing in war zones and normally do quite well, it's just getting into it that's an issue. The least you could do BW is extend the deserter curse a little longer to give less fortunate people a chance. Otherwise pleeeease fix the loading times (if that's possible). It's so irritating - not cancel my sub irritating cause I still love the game - but it's my biggest gripe with the game.

What's the difference between the regular war hero schematic box and the rated one? I'm thinking of buying one of them but don't know which would be better.

Hi all, I just tried entering into pvp and was logged out straight away. Seems to have happened to everyone else in the queue. Has this happened to anyone else or is it just my server - the arkanian legacy - or does anyone know what the Craic with it is?
