  1. TOR is dead in the water. It lost a good chunk of the players the first month with it's featureless release. TOR will continue to slowly lose subs and become a niche game for SW fans.
  2. If you have played the game in the last month you noticed that the population is most certainly dropping. Less WZs poping @ 50 & below, less people per planet, less people in the fleet, and less people using /who.
  3. What is wrong with you OP? Don't you listen to the fanboys, this game is the greatest MMO of all time. "Go play WoW!"
  4. Nope, crafting is pointless as stated over and over in beta.
  5. Nope. This game is mediocre even by 2004 standards.
  6. Give me a break, it's not just that there's nothing to do its that ITS TOO EASY. It is moronic to compare a game from 2004 to one from 2012. THis game should be leaps and bounds over what WoW released with. Unfortunately its not even as good. TOR End game: PvP is broken (faction balance, Illum sucks, engine can't handle more than 12 ppl in the same area, all 3 WZs are boring and uninspired). PvE is too easy. Leveling 1-50 takes no time or effort. Go into a Op in greens with no strategy come out 2 hrs later fully geared, del off the bosses rant bugged. At least in WoW it took some time to get to max level, hell low-level instances are harder than HM ops. Crafting is worthless. Everything you can make is sub-par to what you can get from a daily or spending 45 min in a HM. EA cut corners with the engine and content (minus VOs) and now the population is spread out and the world too dead. This game was a mediocre attempt at copying WoW.
  7. What are you talking about? Just ask the fanboys the game is gaining pop! lol.
  8. Judging from the sinking pop I think it's just you having a blast.
  9. VO's mean crap at 50. The end-game is such a lazy attempt to copy the boring old WoW formula, and unfortunately a lot worse. PvP is broken. 3 boring WZ's, horrible PvP planet, unbalanced factions, and an engine that can't handle more than 10 people in the same area. PvE is a joke. All raids/HMs/FPs are incredibly easy and can be done with 0 effort. The bosses require no strategy, unless you call beating bugs a strategy. Crafting is useless. The is literally no reason to craft anything as you can obtain superior items without even trying. This game is beyond mediocre and is bleeding subs no matter what fanboys want you to believe.
  10. Not just writers: http://games.on.net/article/14946/Former_SWTOR_Devs_Unveil_The_Banner_Saga
  11. Writers and devs now running from the tortanic: http://games.on.net/article/14946/Former_SWTOR_Devs_Unveil_The_Banner_Saga
  12. No. Sorry but EA needs to take a hit financially and stop devouring/destroying small game studios for profit.
  13. I think it's pretty obvious to everyone that the pop is dropping. Judging by the amount of people saying the same thing.
  14. That proves nothing. I am on one of the highest pop servers and there are at most 20 ppl on Illum and 70ish in the fleet at prime time. The population is dropping.
  15. Why, because some people actually care about making something well and have a passion for what they do? Oh wait, it's EA, they only care about profit.
  16. All of the servers feel empty, even the supposedly high pop ones.
  17. Damn what this, the fourth rebirth of this thread? Thats over 300+ pages, and lots of No's.
  18. This is just an outright lie. I play on Ebon Hawk and the numbers have dropped significantly.
  19. Too true. You see it everywhere now: movies, music, games, all about the *********** money not the passion to make something awesome. EA is the poster boy for this kind of behavior. Money money money **** the product, **** the studio that made it just give us more.
  20. Those aren't even players they're bots that EA uses to dupe shareholders!
