  1. After you've used the item and have the actual mission in your mission log you'll see the mission marker where to go when you're on fleet. But that's technically different for imp and rep side. For imps it is in the combat section, for reps it's actually the trade section iirc. For both it's the NE section of the fleet but for imps the NE section is combat section and for reps it's trade.
  2. Good to know. I have to try again this weekend. I did try it on several new characters though after that dreadfull "tax everyone to death" patch and was not able to pull anything on new characters. And yea, the permissions were in order.
  3. Are you stating this as a fact or as a suggestion? Just asking because when i've tried it with a new character I was not able to withdraw anything from guild bank. I know that a newly joined character can't do guild conquest until after next tuesdays reset, so i've tried again after that with no luck. I've always had to pull the items with another character on the same legacy that's been in guild for >30 days than the new one and move the items to legacy bank to get them to the new character.
  4. Well i have a slightly different opinion on the matter. Imo this IS griefing. Combined with the new criminal tax rates on item trades it gives me a lot of grief when i make a new character on one of my accounts and need to transfer stuff from other accounts to the new character. You have to first put the items to the guild bank, then log in another char that's been in the guild for longer than 30 days from the same account than the new character, pull the items and put them to the legacy bank and then finally you can pull the items for the intended character. It's even more difficult when you try to gift stuff for friends or guildmates. And impossible if you wanted to give stuff to strangers ( =newbies you meet on starter/capital planets). The whole thing is completely unneccessary. All they needed to do is increase GTN sales cap and add the 8% tax to itemless CREDIT TRADES and mail. The 0,02% of players who would still try to circumvent taxes by using expensive items as currency wouldn't hurt anything in the big picture. I don't know what excatly they did for credit sellers, but something must have happened as they were selling like 1 bil for a couple of dollars and quite literally overnight it changed to around $2,5 for 100 mil a few weeks ago. And right after that the prices started to fall considerably on their own, before any of these stupid and criminal taxes were implemented. The majority of the playerbase only do trades via GTN. Until the inflation raised the prices of even the more common stuff over the 1 bil mark you rarely saw any "WTS" posts on /3. Ofc there was some, but most of them were just advertising for stuff they actually had on the GTN. Trading for expensive stuff outside the GTN is always a huge risk to get scammed. It's also a lot easier to buy stuff from gtn. Just a couple of clicks and the item is in your mail. No need to chat, no need to meet, nothing. Personally i completely stopped buying and selling any and all items that were going for more than 1 bil for the above mentioned reasons. I Don't think i was the only one either.
  5. If you actually read my post or other posts i've made about this issue, you'd know that i actually said that thanks are in order when someone works extra hard or achieves something great. Thats not the case with the SWTOR team at the moment though. What they seem to achieve is the bare minumum. That's what they get paid to do. And they hardly manage. Every time they ask for our feedback before a change or big update, almost 100% of said feedback is completely ingored and they move on with exactly like they had originally planned and when the crap hits the fan afterwards it's total radio silence for months. Sure, i believe they show up to work everyday. So do I. That doesn't earn any extra thanks outside of the subsrciption payment. Maybe it's a generational thing, but i really hate this culture where everyone gets (and expects) participation rewards. They don't even have grades in gradeschool these days. Just a checkbox saying the person attended the classes in question and everyone gets the same pat in the back. I don't condone that at all. Work hard -> get rewards. Do the minimum - get the minimum!
  6. Well, it's completely different to be negative towards your employees than just not giving any special thanks for them doing their job. That's not at all what i said. Showing gratitude when people do their job is normal and it shows in how you treat your co-workers or employees. It doesn't require giving them medals or extra praise. The OP is basically demanding us to not critizize but instead praise the devs for just doing their job (and often failing at it) and it's basically equivalent to pinning a medal to your employees chest for just doing the bare minimum. I definitely don't want to be praised for just doing my work. It would start to feel really hypocrite really fast getting thanks from things that are just normal stuff you should do anyway to the best of your ability. Extra thanks or rewards for excellent work or for exceeding youself are always welcomed and completely different to what this threads OP wants us to do.
  7. I don't get any medals or extra thanks for doing my work well. In fact it's expected from me. That's why i get paid to do it. That's my reward. That's also why giving any extra thanks to the devs is a bit stupid imho. If they did their work well, there would be nothing to complain about (except there will always be people who complain about anything, like complaining that some people dare to state their concerns about the state of a video game or point out problems or issues in said video game). Me paying my sub and dropping the occasional $ in the CM is my thanks to them. If they did something extraordinary out of the blue i would surely offer my extra thanks, but that haven't happened yet. Doing your job doesn't earn any special thanks from me.
  8. I typically do only the class story and the planetary story arc and only the introduction missions to pvp, flashpoints etc and most times i hit 80 at Voss. I also keep the 25% xp boost running at all times, have maxed out legacy perks and the boosts from guild. Started recently to finally complete my legacy on my second account and i've noticed that without the above mentioned perks (only got the xp boosts and guild bonuses on that account) it's considerably slower to level up without doing side missions or FP's/pvp/gsf and such. However since the level sync function actually scales your level down to the planet's max level i don't see much of a problem here. Sure a lvl80 on good gear scaled to level 30 planet might feel a bit OP, mut sometimes it works the other way around. Worst part is when you're doing lvl75 content on lvl76-79 character in ir306 gear. For some reason* they thought it a brilliant idea to punish you (severely) from having a good ir306 gear after you level up to 76 in level synced content. IMHO, your power should never go down when you gain a level. Other than that, i don't really see how it breaks immersion at all. And if it does, equip some lower IR green stuff and you'll gain more challenge. *They really wanted to force people to grind the new horrible gear with multiple stupid variations and currencies after they saw that many people preferred to keep the old 306 gear for level synced stuff.
  9. If i'm perfectly honest, i've never found galactic seasons to be fun. Instead to me they feel like a forced grind. If i want to complete the seasons and achievements and reputation tracks, i'm forced to do a lot of content that i really don't want to do and don't enjoy at all. I've noticed that whenever there's a season running, i can't advance most of my newer characters stories at all as all i'm doing is trying to complete the GS goals for the week (on two accounts, don't even bother on more than one servers or my F2P accounts). As far as the companion part goes, most of my characters have more than 20 comps. The dozen'ish characters that i've dragged through or at least started KotFE/KotET with have at least 50 companions or more. We can only utilize a maximum of 9 companions at the time. And while doing the KotFE/KotET chapters you can't even do any crew skills most of the time, so that's only one usable companion at a time. I never use the non-basic speaking companions for anything other than crew skills, and not even that most of the time as i can't stand those super annoying noises they make. Treek and Altuur being my most hated ones. Well i guess treek was fun at first as it was the first CM comp and one of, if not the first extra comp after the main story, but as it was very overpowered in the beginning and i had to use it for that reason a lot it kinda became my favorite to hate. I think only Treek and HK-51 on top of the original class companions have any kind of meaningful story. I think the orginal comps are the only ones who react to what you do during the original stories and after SoR they go mute as well. KotFE/KotET comps stories kinda merge with the chapter stories and outside of chapers they don't do or say anything. So in summary, i'm all in for more companions, but ONLY if they are like the vanilla ones and actually react to what i do in the game and their story progresses along my progress and actions. And it would be most important to get some way to organize the companion window so we could have the influence rank 50 ones on top or on different tab or something. Something like suggested in these: https://forums.swtor.com/topic/776847-companion-favorites-tab/ https://forums.swtor.com/topic/930787-improved-companion-window/
  10. More companions are all good as long as they come with a good storyline and voice acting. I don't need a single throwaway companion more with 5min storyline and super annoying AI generated alien language or bleep bloobs that literally drive me nuts. And if we get more companions, we need a way to mark some them as favorites or at least list them in order of influence. Having dozens of companions at the moment when 9 of them are rank 50 makes it annoying to find the useful ones from the endless list of throwaways i never use for anything.
  11. If you're talking about the relics of ossus currency like you implied at the title, then yes, you can use those to buy decorations and other stuff. There's two vendors that sell stuff for the relics, like already mentioned in this thread. I just checked the rep side while doing dailies and the vendors are still there. One of them wants credits+relics and has other items as well as decos, one has decorations for creds+relics. There's another one that has decorations for Tech fragments. A small hut behind the main building. As of two minutes ago the vendors were there and you can still buy stuff with your relics. If you're talking about the reputation items, then those are shopfood after your reputation is maxed. And they've never been a currency to buy anything with anyway.
  12. You can travel to Ossus to buy good purple (or gold if you have enough reputation) gear as soon as you hit 70. (might be able to travel there even earlier). There's no story requirements to get there. I often hit 70 way before i'm done with chapter 3, sometimes during chapter 2 and as soon as i'm 70, i take a quick detour to Ossus for cheap and great gear with setbonuses for the next 5 levels. Also it sucks when you get the "you've reached the maximum of this and that currency" all the time when doing dailies on a planet so having at least the decorations to dump the excess tokens is great imho.
  13. Yea sorry about that. As english isn't my first language i sometimes have difficulties conveying my message. I didn't mean you as you, but as the general people writing on the forums. The sentence was supposed to mean that "The person starting a new thread might have a slightly different take on a topic than the previous old threads... etc etc." so my bad...
  14. Indeed. I started rewatching the clone wars animated series few weeks ago while waiting for the Ahsoka series and i have to say that there's some skimpy clothed females in that series. Like Ventress or even Ahsoka... and she was how old when she was introduced, 13-14? Her outfit is definitely spicy for someone that young. So as our characters in this game are all supposed to be adults, I don't see anything wrong with having some more revealing stuff available. I probably mentioned it earlier in this or some similar thread, but what i'd like to have more is classy upper body clothes with open back for females and more sleeveless shirts and jackets for both. There's plenty of middriff bearing stuff and side/under b**b stuff but not much sleeveless stuff without some accessories or separated sleeves on your arms that you cant get rid of. And i don't know if there's anything with open back. And there should definitely be more pants that go over the boots. As far as i know there's only one set of pants in game at the moment that go over the boots and those are the (super cool) disco pants from the Lando Calrissian set (don't remember the actual name of that set). And i'd like all of the above WITHOUT buttflaps and loincloths please
  15. And that's a good thing. Nothing wrong with the occasional spicy space barbie Nothing wrong with head to toe covered peeps either... or the potato sack ones. Just add moar of everything plz!
