  1. Most of my light side Sith choices are let them be imprisoned and tortured opposed to killing them outright. That's not exactly unicorns and fluffy bunnies. I don't see anything un-Sith-like about not killing every.single.person you come across. Sometimes your stabbing arm just gets tired. And the people you let crawl away still breathing may at some point prove useful (which happens in the stories sometimes, you spare someone and they help in a later fight). Killing everyone for killing sake may make you super evil but it won't make you a good sith, walking around half mad with no allies makes it hard to rise in the ranks.
  2. No companion functions as well as a player and this is most obvious with tank pets. So I either avoid using tank pets, I find tanking myself and using a heal pet works most of the time. If I must use a tank pet, I get them purple gear and I use a presence stim which helps a lot. Good luck.
  3. I don't know what craft class you are but MK-6 kits are still going for 50k a pop on my server though they take so long to make I don't bother with them anymore.
  4. If you kill a player you take them out of play for as little as a few seconds, then they come back with full health and energy/power etc. But if you lose a node, you may never get it back, having control of a node is a huge advantage. I can't see why you'd risk losing a node for a single kill.
  5. Yeah, we need a way to hide things, there are some purples I should never ever accidentally make, like my cunning earpiece with SHIELD, seriously, SHIELD!!!
  6. Nope, because I don't quit WZs. From your description the match only took as long as it took you to go get a drink, so even if you'd only gotten one medal you would have gotten some sort of reward, and since he was already in the next match, you would have been done by then too, the only difference is you would have had a few more coms to show for it.
  7. Jugg damage is nil compared to marauder. I play every class and Jugg seems like the least dps of all of them, every class in game. And you'll really feel the difference in pvp. Rated groups will value you more if you are a marauder. However in pve, if you are a Jugg you'll have an easier time finding groups because there is a shortage on tanks, most people play dps. And yes, tanking works the same, but with the guard ability I think it's a bit easier than it is in other games.
  8. I usually play ranged dps and healers. I'm pretty good at both but I find healing more stressful. What I'm terrible at is tanking. I am quite possibly the worst tank in creation. I never know my way around anything, and tanks are supposed to lead, and I am awful at keeping aggro. I tend to avoid grouping as a tank though I might solo them in some games. Who cares if I get lost in the woods for four hours if I'm by myself?
  9. I start buying my level 40 gear early and just slap it on when I hit 40, it doesn't take me long at all to get 2000 comms.
  10. Mara/Sent, I rolled one because people went on about how powerful they were, all I did was flop, flop, die. It takes way more hand/eye coordination than anything else I've played, there were times I finished a match with zero medals. I hit 30 before I even started to figure out how to not suck.
  11. From what I read you could be a half dead toddler and still own as a powertech, I see few people suggesting you couldn't play it as a clicker.
  12. Considering how easy PvE is in this game it's like trying to determine "the best climber of one step". I play a version of every AC and none of them have problems leveling.
  13. When I see my guild tag in red, I murder them, I figure if I stomp them to death they'll be impressed with my ability to pvp and ask me to group with them, which happens every time. As for cross faction I'm in two different guilds and neither guild knows anything about my other faction characters, that way I can face stomp them and not feel guilty.
  14. With a 1.5 second GCD this game is the love puppy of clickers. I hear how things would be so much better if I used keybindings but my main ability is one button that takes two seconds, and half my AoE's have to be placed on the ground.
  15. Um...would you really want to make out with someone whose teeth would accidentally sever your tongue? While you give good reasons for your spiritual connection, I don't think your species are compatible.
  16. I think there is a misunderstanding, not all crit augment slots are MK-1, they reflect the level of the gear, so if you crit a level 49 piece it will have an MK-6 slot, which I think makes sense, it was stupid when level 11 orange was the most powerful gear in game.
  17. That would be awesome. A nice break from blue human, red human, green human, blind human, human with tentacles, etc.
  18. On my server people are selling level 50 crit magenta crystals for 150k, the crystals that make it are going for 100k each, so it's a 150k loss just by clicking combine on that one. I am sure there is some high end, raid gear, way to make money as an artificer, but that shouldn't be the only way.
  19. You know, usually after a WZ comes to a really bad start and people immediately drop, better players take their place and we do better than before with the bailers. So I don't really want a penalty, usually the people that leave suck anyway.
  20. My first suggestion would be sniper/gunslinger, it's a pure dps class and you stand behind a shield which helps with the squishiness. It's laid back, and you get some nice hits. Do you plan on pvping? If not, no class is squishy because you pve with companions. Another pure dps class is marauder/sentinel, that one is melee, however if you do pvp you will feel very squishy until about 30 as a marauder/sentinel.
  21. The worst part is I'm used to schematics being a good thing so I still get excited when I see I got a new schematic which makes the disappointment just a strong each time when I see that it's another copy of that useless crap.
  22. Yeah, when my Armormech is making 1 mil a day I can't justify gathering mats for crystals going for 5k. Since I have all of them I can make money regardless, but I don't think it's right that one crew skill makes so much less than the rest, not everyone has leveled up all the crew skills and shouldn't have to in order to make a profit.
  23. About 32-35 for most people. It's a few quests after you finish Alderaan.
