  1. Rifle shot is a more efficient filler. Technically you'll be contributing more, in terms of numbers, by attacking. But if your group doesn't need that minor extra damage, you're better off using DS and providing a bit of healing and some energy regen to yourself, even if it's hard to optimize.
  2. My friend and I suddenly have phantom time remaining on our accounts. I have 30 more than I expected and he has 60 more. Anyone know why this could be? We didn't have level 50s before the cutoff they announced for free time, but we do now (as of like 2 weeks ago)
  3. I'm an operative healer and I find alacrity to be nearly useless, likewise accuracy. Has anybody found a source of enhancements that can viably replace the accuracy/alacrity ones that come with all the main pvp slots? Stardard artifact quality 124 enhancements don't cut it. Is there a pvp option I haven't found or is it just deal with acc/alac or spend 300k on the expensive enhances?
  4. I haven't found a definitive answer for this anywhere and I want to confirm. Can I transfer War Hero helmet armoring to ANY moddable headgear and receive the bonus? I would like to only spend 90k on an augmented marauder's headgear instead of 300k on an augmented WH shell- I hide head slot so it doesnt matter to me. Just want to make sure the bonus carries over. Thanks
  5. If you're satisfied with a botched fix, that's your prerogative.
  6. Which is why you reroll. Not expect to be handed a lvl 50 toon of a different class. You just proved my point. This game and all MMO classes are based on playing a class from the beginning, learning it, and investing in it. Not being able to switch when you get bored. Also, ACs are basically their own classes. It's not like switching specs. There are 4 base classes because bioware didn't want to design 8 completely different structures (can't blame them), but each AC is unique enough that they are extremely distinct playstyles, and should not and will not be interchangeable.
  7. I'm a little confused as to how a bug as major as implants and earpiece stats not applying to companions can be overlooked. Not only is it a pain in the butt for those of us who are aware of it and have to re-equip these items every time our companion is resummoned, but I reckon the majority of players don't even realize the bug exists and are playing with massively gimped companions. At lvl 50 it amounts to several thousand hitpoints and a bunch of stats. I'm failing to understand why this is not a priority fix. Sorry to post yet another complaint on these forums. I love the game, think its great. And I'm not going to be like most idiots and threaten to unsub (as if anybody cares). But I'm a little baffled by this.
  8. OP apparently had one incident that made him mad and now he wants an apology and back rub from bioware. get over it. i've played several hours a day since the plague and havent been griefed. havent heard of anybody who has.
  9. or you could, you know, do some research. so sick of people who feel they are entitled to whatever they want whenever they want without having to think or plan.
  10. #2 hit on it. pre-patch, a half-heal build would not have been much worse than full heal tree. The biggest difference now is TA stacking to 3. It makes TA MUCH more manageable (about 50% more, i would say ) and having 3 stacks up in a pinch, especially with surgical precision, means a lot of surgical probe casts. In pvp this is vastly important because often times you can't stand and cast. RN is nice. I wouldn't call it critical, and you could do a build without it. But I assume you want more than the 1 extra point, as it won't buy you anything worthwhile in the other trees. Not sure what you had in mind for a hybrid build, but i would go to a minimum of up through medical engineering. The TA proc from kolto probe is the best talent in the entire tree. I suppose you could then have hots up and between that and shiv, be able to spam laceration. Heres what I would do, maybe this is kind of what you had in mind: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#401MffMzhZMIdoddMzM.1 It would play like a gimped lethality. But on the plus side, instead of getting kited you can stand and heal when it becomes unrealistic to chase- a luxury pure leth doesnt have
  11. i like the overload shot idea a lot. it would help all 3 specs and there's really no reason for its short range to begin with.
  12. sorry but i've been playing heal spec operative in lvl 50 warzones with no gear (recruit set, have added 3 bm peices) and it's not gimped. it's certainly not amazing in the conventional sense- we have no knockback, no (real) sprint or charge- but healer operative can do some great stuff in terms of survivability, healing output, and burst damage. I can't completely speak for lethality because i havent played it at 50. But I did play it at 49 (post-patch) and found it to still be one of the most powerful pvp specs. Just because LOLOMGCRIT####S are gone doesnt mean its bad. I'm guessing about half the people playing operatives rolled it when they heard it was overpowered. Now it's not, and the tears are streaming. Re-roll; good riddance.
  13. Every time i summon my companion i have to unequip then re-equip her earpiece and implants in order for the stats to take effect. Have not confirmed whether other stats are affected but she does not benefit from endurance until i re-equip. Anyone else notice this?
  14. it's not about the money bro its about people planned on playing and now we cant
  15. I think the offer is more 50 Cent imo
