  1. Great project putting everything together in one place. I had created the Synthweaving Master list guide for all orange craftable sets a couple of months ago, but I did not include any non-crafted gear, or any armormech looks. What I do like about my thread, and the galleries created by some of the other players linked below is that they show male and female shots. I only saw the female looks on the beginning project of yours. Would be great to get those up. And the screenshots are listed in the thread below. I went through a lot of work myself to grab screenshots, search for them, or create them myself. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=320129 Synthweaving Sith Looks http://imgur.com/a/naYBM#0 Synthweaving Republic Looks http://imgur.com/a/79nct#0 Good luck.
  2. Or stick him in the escape pod and shoot him away?
  3. Yeah, these look a lot like the lower level crafted armor, but it's nice they are orange. I also think some of these would be fine WITHOUT the little tail sticking out. And, I am a bit disappointed in the Marauder outfit. By the way, do these armors have the augment slots? If not, why would I buy these when I can have augmented orange armor?
  4. hmm, well there is this from a developer blog Crew Skills in Game Update 1.2 The date of the blog is 3/20/2012. That does make it confusing. They've said two different things. Wonder which one is correct?? Can you RE orange armor for schems as stated above, or do the schems come from discovery missions as stated in the Q&A? Or is it going back to what they said in the Q&A, that they were talking about purple modifiable gear from new end game operations?
  5. Updated with latest screenshots from RyougaAyanami, thanks so much! Also provided link to the awesome gallery. It seems no one has done this yet for Armormech, so I might end up doing it this weekend, if I can find the time and bribe an Armormech for assistance . As for the discussion of RE'ing orange gear for schematics, I have not seen anything specifically stating that is possible. I have seen in the patch notes where NEW TIER 2 drops can be RE'd, here.... It does not specify orange gear, and it states Tier 2 (new) endgame items are the items in question. There is also this tidbit from the Q&A a week or so ago. I did find this in the Q&A as well My favorite part is the third paragraph from the bottom.... If someone else has other information regarding the ability to Reverse Engineer Orange Items for schematics, please post the source here.
  6. I've gotten all my schematics from either the GTN, running UT missions or guild members. The missions give ranges when you run them, so a UT mission for range 41-48 has the possibility to bring back one of the level 43 schematics or one of the level 47 schematics. I don't remember all the exact ranges, but maybe when I get a chance I can add that in to the original post. Really, it's easier to just look at the title of your UT missions and see what range they cover, determine what piece you're missing and run the appropriate mission. Much easier than writing anything down from a list we can provide here, or tabbing out to double-check. I have a ton of the Aspiring Knights schems, in fact, I'm just banking them waiting for the guild bank to open up (once we can have the neutral gtn on our ships, it's not so bad to learn a schematic for the opposing faction!). For some reason, if it's a class specific schematic, the other side gets them too when running UT missions. I'd run UT missions in the range you're looking for, check the GTN, and be sure to check the Neutral GTN in Nar Shadda every now and then. It's usually a bit empty on my server, but just the other day I found two headgear schematics I was missing for cheap there.
  7. Slicers can now run missions for augment materials. Like 'Tech Materials' or something. If they have a critical success on that mission, they get the materials and a schematic for an augment. The schematic and the materials then go to a synthweaver, armstech or armormech to craft. At least that's my understanding. I'm not a slicer, but I spent two days wandering around asking this question and between guild members we figured it this chain of events =).
  8. I have not seen any new schematics on 1.2. My character is only level 32 on pts, and obviously not maxed on Synthweaving, but I haven't seen anything new. If I hear of something, or anyone else has more information, I'll add it here.
  9. Still no word on the Battle Master schems, but I got a Blade Master headgear on my Imperial character. So that's two confirmed Blade Master schems. They come from the UT missions.
  10. With 1.2, slicers will be the only ones obtaining augment schematics, and augment materials. With critically crafted orange gear, augments are going to be in large demand. I'd say slicing would be a highly profitable crew skill to have. But, if you do drop it and come back to it, then yes, you have to start all over.
  11. Are these craftable armor sets, or reward sets? The way everyone is speaking is they are rewards, but I wasn't clear.
  12. Yeah, I missed that there wasn't going to be a Q&A either, and since it's called the 'weekly' Q&A and I had posted a question over a week ago, I asked another question on what I assumed was the new Q&A thread only to be sent a message from a CSR about posting twice. It would be nice if the forums were organized and the Q&A had it's own forum, and a sticky had gone up saying something to the effect of 'There will be no Q&A this week and you can read about all kinds of juicy stuff in our guild summit forum'. I really shouldn't have to find an announcement inside another thread.
  13. I've added the updated screenshots from Sabulum and RyougaAyanami. We're only missing a few sets now. We also have the mystery of the two medium 27 Republic sets, Blade Master and Battle Master. We have the screenshot showing the Blade Master Vest schematic in-game, so I've added that one to the list. Can anyone provide a screenshot of a Battle Master schematic in-game? It might just be a typo from the one who provided the original republic information and screenshots, but I'd like to solve the mystery .
  14. It was indeed a new development . When I wrote my post, it said (Imperial) only and I had changed the title a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't update until yesterday I guess. *shrug* What matters is that now Imperials and Republics alike can find the thread. And, thanks for the new screenshots, but as I mentioned, it will take me a day before I can get back to my computer and update the original list. If anyone else has any more to add, please do so =). Thanks, y'all.
  15. I don't have a republic synthweaver, so I'm relying on y'all for all the republic information . But, it looks like there is indeed a Blade Master's set for level 27 medium armor synthweaving. The only question is, why there are two medium armor synthweaving sets for the republic for level 27? I'm not at my computer, so I'll update the list and the screenshots hopefully later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks guys!
  16. Since I can't change the title of the thread, I'm considering creating a new thread and just labeling it the Master List. I'd also like to reserve spaces for the Armormech schematics. I'm going to leave this up until this weekend and whatever screenshots I get, I'll add to the original post. Again, just trying to let everyone know so if you have this bookmarked, you're aware of the new thread coming. And, once created, I'll submit the link here. Thanks everyone!
  17. This would be difficult to do. Each server is unique and the market is up and down. In addition, 1.2 will see a dramatic shift in the market with critically crafted orange gear once we see how they implement it. If you're looking for a price range for your server, you might want to post in the server specific forums and get a list going. Or you could make your own list and keep track of what is selling at what price range each time you visit the GTN terminal.
  18. Thanks SirWyst. The level is already listed on the original post and the armor value is not really needed since with orange gear, it's replaced the moment you put an armoring modification into it. The base value is only relevant if you wear the orange piece without any mods and I don't think most people would do that . As for the screenshots you could provide, I've quoted above those I could use to fill out the list. You have the complete set for each and I'm missing screenshots of the complete set. If you could try to take a screenshot of you and a companion in the viewer (if you're female, use a male companion, or if you're male, use a female companion), so we have the look for both male and female characters, that would be great. If not, I'll accept whatever you'd like to submit as a placeholder until we can get those shots . There were some sets where you listed you had one or two pieces, but if you just have a headgear, or leggings, those are hard to get a feel for the overall outfit, so I didn't request those. I'm trying to search now for the entire set, or at least chest and leggings together until we can get a shot of the entire set. Finally, are you sure Sith Archon Handgear is an orange schematic? I have yet to run across any orange craftable handgear, so if you can double check that, it would be awesome. You might be the holder of a very unique schematic. Thanks again!
  19. Thanks Narkedoff for the screenshots. I've added them. I will eventually replace them with male and female shots, because it's hard for the guys to see how the chestpiece looks when it's a sports bra chestpiece =). But, this helps fill in the blanks for now. Thanks again!
  20. Thanks! Yeah, I know the Warrior Chestguard is in demand on my server as well. If you have a screenshot that's just a screenshot, you can send them directly to me (ancblomberg@gmail.com) and I will try to put them in the gallery type format. It would be great if you have front and back and male and female shots, as eventually that's how I'd like to see all of them for consistency. If you already have the gallery type shots, you can just link them here and I will add them to the original post. I don't know what will change with the update in 1.2, but I'd love to have these all completed by then and simply add any new outfits as they come along. Any help with getting this thread to that level is greatly appreciated .
  21. Can you confirm if the new crafting changes in 1.2 will require BOP items from raids? And if so, what are the plans to ensure the best crafters are not synonymous with the most proficient raiders since the two are separate systems?
  22. I didn't read all the pages, either. But, I did get through the first fifteen or so . And I read the entire bug list and have these to offer. -- sometimes, when I drop my material into the cargo hold, I put it in the wrong slot and maybe double click trying to fix it as a jerk reaction (ie, I move Nextor crystal to the cargo hold, but dropped it on top of Bondar crystal, which now moves to my inventory, but in a jerk reaction I get click happy trying to fix it), the nextor crystal is now visually missing from my cargo hold and inventory. My brocart filaments are also 'visually' missing, from the same occurrence. (I guess that's not a crew skill bug, but an item bug). They are still there, somewhere, because I can craft with them, but they are completely invisible. -- suggestion -- I would love for materials to go straight to the cargo hold! I run these all the time while out questing, then craft and RE and eventually I have to stop to go find a cargo hold to drop off all the 'excess materials' . . . again. -- After the last couple of patches, I cannot 'shift+left click' my armor to show up in the chat windows anymore (also might be an 'item' bug, but I only do it with my craftables, so I don't know.) -- suggestion -- I'd love to see the reverse engineering schematic from a primary blue recipe retain it's blue coloring, as opposed to turning purple. It's just confusing. It's not a true artifact craft. I guess the idea is true artifact items will say 'superior' on them, but not everyone knows this and it's confusing. -- Unknown if bug or intentional -- Synthweaving has orange armor sets for light, medium and heavy for the following levels: 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39, 43, 47 and 50. BUT, the synthweaving heavy schematics for levels 11 and 15 are non-existent, but they do exist for medium and light. I do not know if this is intentional, for some reason heavy doesn't get them for synthweaving (maybe heavy gets their orange schematics from armormech only?). Or if it's an oversight like the missing artifact schematic line for redoubt schematics. Fantastic bug list and great work! I don't know why it's not stickied.
