  1. Great project putting everything together in one place. I had created the Synthweaving Master list guide for all orange craftable sets a couple of months ago, but I did not include any non-crafted gear, or any armormech looks. What I do like about my thread, and the galleries created by some of the other players linked below is that they show male and female shots. I only saw the female looks on the beginning project of yours. Would be great to get those up. And the screenshots are listed in the thread below. I went through a lot of work myself to grab screenshots, search for them, or create them myself. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=320129 Synthweaving Sith Looks http://imgur.com/a/naYBM#0 Synthweaving Republic Looks http://imgur.com/a/79nct#0 Good luck.
  2. Or stick him in the escape pod and shoot him away?
  3. Yeah, these look a lot like the lower level crafted armor, but it's nice they are orange. I also think some of these would be fine WITHOUT the little tail sticking out. And, I am a bit disappointed in the Marauder outfit. By the way, do these armors have the augment slots? If not, why would I buy these when I can have augmented orange armor?
  4. hmm, well there is this from a developer blog Crew Skills in Game Update 1.2 The date of the blog is 3/20/2012. That does make it confusing. They've said two different things. Wonder which one is correct?? Can you RE orange armor for schems as stated above, or do the schems come from discovery missions as stated in the Q&A? Or is it going back to what they said in the Q&A, that they were talking about purple modifiable gear from new end game operations?
  5. Updated with latest screenshots from RyougaAyanami, thanks so much! Also provided link to the awesome gallery. It seems no one has done this yet for Armormech, so I might end up doing it this weekend, if I can find the time and bribe an Armormech for assistance . As for the discussion of RE'ing orange gear for schematics, I have not seen anything specifically stating that is possible. I have seen in the patch notes where NEW TIER 2 drops can be RE'd, here.... It does not specify orange gear, and it states Tier 2 (new) endgame items are the items in question. There is also this tidbit from the Q&A a week or so ago. I did find this in the Q&A as well My favorite part is the third paragraph from the bottom.... If someone else has other information regarding the ability to Reverse Engineer Orange Items for schematics, please post the source here.
  6. I've gotten all my schematics from either the GTN, running UT missions or guild members. The missions give ranges when you run them, so a UT mission for range 41-48 has the possibility to bring back one of the level 43 schematics or one of the level 47 schematics. I don't remember all the exact ranges, but maybe when I get a chance I can add that in to the original post. Really, it's easier to just look at the title of your UT missions and see what range they cover, determine what piece you're missing and run the appropriate mission. Much easier than writing anything down from a list we can provide here, or tabbing out to double-check. I have a ton of the Aspiring Knights schems, in fact, I'm just banking them waiting for the guild bank to open up (once we can have the neutral gtn on our ships, it's not so bad to learn a schematic for the opposing faction!). For some reason, if it's a class specific schematic, the other side gets them too when running UT missions. I'd run UT missions in the range you're looking for, check the GTN, and be sure to check the Neutral GTN in Nar Shadda every now and then. It's usually a bit empty on my server, but just the other day I found two headgear schematics I was missing for cheap there.
  7. Slicers can now run missions for augment materials. Like 'Tech Materials' or something. If they have a critical success on that mission, they get the materials and a schematic for an augment. The schematic and the materials then go to a synthweaver, armstech or armormech to craft. At least that's my understanding. I'm not a slicer, but I spent two days wandering around asking this question and between guild members we figured it this chain of events =).
  8. I have not seen any new schematics on 1.2. My character is only level 32 on pts, and obviously not maxed on Synthweaving, but I haven't seen anything new. If I hear of something, or anyone else has more information, I'll add it here.
  9. Still no word on the Battle Master schems, but I got a Blade Master headgear on my Imperial character. So that's two confirmed Blade Master schems. They come from the UT missions.
  10. With 1.2, slicers will be the only ones obtaining augment schematics, and augment materials. With critically crafted orange gear, augments are going to be in large demand. I'd say slicing would be a highly profitable crew skill to have. But, if you do drop it and come back to it, then yes, you have to start all over.
  11. Are these craftable armor sets, or reward sets? The way everyone is speaking is they are rewards, but I wasn't clear.
  12. Yeah, I missed that there wasn't going to be a Q&A either, and since it's called the 'weekly' Q&A and I had posted a question over a week ago, I asked another question on what I assumed was the new Q&A thread only to be sent a message from a CSR about posting twice. It would be nice if the forums were organized and the Q&A had it's own forum, and a sticky had gone up saying something to the effect of 'There will be no Q&A this week and you can read about all kinds of juicy stuff in our guild summit forum'. I really shouldn't have to find an announcement inside another thread.
