  1. This idea that free to play games attract the wrong kind of gamers is just plain wrong. There are some games i have played that were fun F2P (DDO, LOTRO, EQ2) some that were not. I have played almost every MMO released since 1999, and really i haven't seen this "worst kind of gamer" being more prevalent in F2P over subscriber games...There are Barrens kids spouting off Chuck Norris / arrow to the knee / anal jokes in all games now, and actually these forums have more of the "worst kind of gamers" then i have ever seen in a DDO forum. My account ends in 15 days and i haven't played for 16 days,i am not renewing. (I was just visiting the site right now to see if i could delete my security app from my phone) it has nothing to do with the F2P model upcoming it has all to do with i am simply done with this game and what it has to offer and have moved onto new things (Secret world). If you truly love this game and want to stick it out, then you should be more worried about Denova being your "end game" for the foreseeable future over the game shifting to F2P. Content Content Content. When their is more content to this game, and when i am bored of the current game I am playing, I would consider playing this FUN but DONE game in the future regardless of the model being F2P or Subscriber based.
  2. It would make to much sense for the warhammer online team (Mythic EA) that works on PVP for Bioware EA to fully implement the system they already designed previously. Which was Tanks had AOE Damage reduction taunts and guards while DPS had self only Damage reduction detaunts.

Sap and cap for an operative takes a few factors to work, but is doable 1) solo defender standing withing sleep dart range and within LOS of the opposite side of the turret. 2) Agent standing behind the turret, just showing enough to get LOS on the target 3) solo defender has his CC breaker down 4) your team has the other team tied up reasonably somewhere, so not expecting a reinforcement within next 7-10 seconds. If these conditions are met you can then sleep dart the solo defender, Take one step to be 180 degrees LOS blocked by the turret and cap the turret. His CC will wear off just before you are done the cap, but because you gave him no angle he has to waste a precious second to target and angle you. you can then Vanish and interrupt and disrupt him from capping it back till your reinforcements arrive. more times then not, the enemy reinforcements arrive 1st tho, so save your flash bang for them.
  5. random drops are...um..random. Some people are lucky (fully geared in 2 ops like my agent) some are not.
  6. wait 30 mins, group formed. everyone says hi. 1st pull goes fine. Tank says "BRB" and leaves us sitting there for 20 mins....eventually we kick him...requeue....sit for 30 mins, group disbanded. This isn't the group finders fault, but an ignorant player, but nonetheless put a damper on day one of the finder Also i noticed my 31 pt concealment (with no healing talents at all) operative can choose to Queue as a healer...really? that's not trouble waiting to happen... I hope after a week or 2 players learn the etiquette and don't queue for roles they can't fill, or if they are going to be AFK for stretches of time, don't queue. One can dream!

While you may fear an operative at lvl 14, its you and every other AC that gets the last laugh in the end...as they are in pretty bad shape in the 50 bracket, the damage output and burst doesn't scale well with the targets at that point. Or so it seems. Also you can only be stunned twice before your resolve is full. the opening stun is a 1.5 seconds knock down from hidden strike. Don't break that, use your CC break on the follow up 4 second stun. energy management to try and keep the burst up to take the target down is a real problem for an operative as well. and they are super easy to kill once you have gotten thru the stuns. Seriously tho. after you get out of 10-49 a concealment operative is prolly your least feared class you face. But in 10-49 they can be a super pain.
  8. gear up Temple with your old hand me down gear. I used Temple exclusively after i got her, her DPS combined with mine was enough to rip thru everything with no to little downtime. (I am full concealment spec operative) As others have said, you aren't getting Kayilo back until you finish Chptr3.
  9. No gold spammers is one thing BW has manged to get right, pretty much from the beginning...perhaps its because creds are so easy to get on your own anyways? or maybe they just have great filters, either way, credit to BW for 1 thorn out of our side.
  10. all 3 of my servers routinely had 7-19 people in fleet at prime time with the odd day getting up as high as 27-29!
  11. by a little patience if you mean playing on and rerolling on 3 servers only to have them all drop to 10-15 person fleets in primetime for the past 3-4 months...yes...i am done exerting patience.

  13. This is a joke right. I am so done with this game, I had been holding on and holding on for weeks on 3 servers where i was lucky if their was 10-15 players on fleet at primetime. Unable to do ops, unable to do anything basically but solo daily's and all i have to look forward to today is the same 10 person fleet. This is the worst managed MMO i have ever played....and that's saying alot, i played Anarchy online
  14. I want the imperial flight suit, as their is no alternate way to attain this, i have to play space combat even though i am sick of all the missions available. Unless you can give me an alternative method to earn the flight suit.
  15. that could explain the super fast running one. The Dehab landed on that sent, just didn't phase him. And he had no resolve, I check before i do any stuns. honestly. There was one other day i was constantly getting knocked out of stealth wherever i went, and thought something was up, then we found out the opposing team had a spy in our vent reporting our movements.
  16. honestly i haven't run into many or any hacks until this week...and even then, maybe its not hacks, but i had 4 occasions this week that left me wondering... To preface I am a concealment spec ops agent 1. civil war, we all go mid and i engage a shadow after being knocked out of stealth. The shadow and i strat running circles around each other. I am hitting shiv but nothing is happening, the cooldown buttons cycle but my character doesn't actually activate the skill. I try other skills like Dehab, same thing, backstab, same thing . I can press the skill, and have the cooldoowns start to cycle but my toon doesn't actually engage the skill. So suffice to say...that shadow had 100% health when i died. I fought this same shadow another time in the same WZ with the exact same problem. Anyone else i could fight, just something funny about this shadow. 2. Saw someone same day running faster then force speed. At first i thought it was force speed but then i realized just how fast they were going and it seemed odd. 3. next day in Voidstar, fought a Vanguard with the exact same thing happening to me as the shadow in my point 1. I could hit my skills and run around, but every time i fought that vanguard my skills wouldn't activate. I could however just regular rifle shot him. 4. Same voidstar, a Sentential saw me while i was stealthed from max force leap range (do sents have a stealth detection skill to see me that far? not sure) that's not the part i was worried about. We start fighting, he has no resolve and i got o dehab him and nothing happens, he just keeps moving around like nothing happened. Ok so i am not saying for sure this is hacking, their could be real explantions. I dont play sentineils, do they have a immunity to CC skill like Snipers do? Maybe thats all that was. If so i have just never encountered that in the 47 lvls of playing my agent. Anyways, do point 1 and 3 sound like a hack or maybe a WZ syncing issue?? 2 seemed like speed hacking to me, i have seen this in other games. 4 seemed like the CC immunity hack, but maybe i just dont know about a Sentinel CC immunity skill, also can a sentienial see a 47 operative stealth specced from max leaping range normally?
  17. same thing happened to me in voidstar yesterday except I had to wait 2 hours for the queue to pop only to have the WZ finish from lack of players and 0 medals/comms/valor on our team while the other team had 3-4 medals. People have stopped fighting for objectives at all now in uneven matches and just go zerg to try and get a few medals before the inevitable shutdown.
  18. just run circles around the computer terminals and Corrosive dart / rifle shot him. takes awhile, but works.

    8 Man Ques

    it's pretty easy to have an 8 man premade now, just play on a dead server like mine where the only 8 people online PVPing are already in your guild!
  21. A lot of people, including myself usually, once they leave a game for a new game, don't return, this is a dangerous time for SWTOR. The game will obviously survive and continue on, but it perhaps will never reach the potential we all hoped for. I have something like 60 days left on my prepaid time and i sincerely hope things are fixed by then because i'd love to resubscribe if i am having fun, but most people are already leaving or left and i doubt more then 10%-15% would come back for a new patch or mergers.
  22. so the plan is to wait until their is no player base left to tick off? over half my guild has directly quit the game in the past month based on lack of server population, which then makes more people quit.
  23. New Races New alternate levelling paths for existing classes including new planets lvl 1-49 A Heroic planet, everything on it from 1-50 is heroic 2+ or 4+ quests. Lateral character advancement. (leave lvl cap as is, make more sideways char customizations for people to earn) A proper RvR lake PVP zone at least 2-3 more warzones 3d space combat (ok that will be it;s own Xpac)
