I'm trying to create a new sentinel character. Is Jedi Knight / Sentinel the same as Jedi Consular / Sentinel just different back stories?

I'm level 50. I didn't see any obvious bread crumbs to follow to begin leveling up again. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks, - P

I just recently resubscribed. I'm level 55, for some reason a lot of my companions gear is in my inventory, and I can't seem to figure out how to get started leveling again. Thanks, - P

GEeez, put on your big girl panties and stop crying about your frikin community. You need population and people to have a community, so quit whining, transfer servers and join ANOTHER community and take a few days to make new friends. Its not that hard. - P

Its kind of hard to reconcile 1.3 million subscribers against dozens and dozens of dead servers. The SWTOR staff is worse than politicians when it comes to trying to add spin to any statement they make. - P

What to do 1st when you hit lv50 ? (PVE non raid/hm)

If your lucky enough to be on a populated server, you'll find lots to do. Dailies, flashpoints, pvp etc. If your on the 100 or so servers that are a ghost town, you re-roll once you hit 50 because your playing the single player version of SWTOR. - P -
The customer support in this game is singularly the worst support I've ever encountered. Really. It is just flat out aweful, horrible, terribad. The only thing they seem to respond to are complaints about peoples names or harassment. Anything beyond that, and I guarantee you will get something along the lines of, "Sorry, we know this is frustrating but we cannot help you." Your stuff is lost. CS isn't going to help. - P

Layoffs at Bioware What does this mean for content
pahbi replied to Painted's topic in General Discussion
If it means the forums won't be so hyper censored then good. - P -
I just learned its against the rules of the forum
pahbi replied to pahbi's topic in General Discussion
I'm assuming this applies to any rules of the forums, not just moderation rules. - P -
To discuss the rules of the forum. Freaky huh? - p

My server is dead - we need transfers now, not in early summer
pahbi replied to oldshatterhand's topic in General Discussion
Server population issues should have been handled like 3 months ago instead of 1-2 months from now. Keetael EST server at 8:50 EST. 67 people total on republic side. Assuming a roughly equal number of imperials, I estimate 120-140 people total on the entire server. - P -
If the initial transfers aren't free I'm done. - P

While I appreciate the hard work that likely went into this guide. Honestly, truely, there are only a few useful crew skills a the moment. And this applies to all classes. While your leveling, cybertech (+scavenging and underworld trading) will help you make armor and mods for your moddable armor for you and your companion. You can use your commendations to buy enhancements. The enhancements aren't optimal, but hey, its just for leveling. You'll also get gifts from underworld trading to give to your companions. At level 50, you use cybertech to make a set of epic armor and mods for you and your companion. You will do the daily +2 quest on Ilum to get epic enhancements for you and your companion. Then you drop cybertech like a bad habit and pick up biochem (+bioanalysis and diplomacy). You work up biochem and diplomacy until you can make a set of rakata stims. Yeah, the rakata stims got nerfed. So what. They are reusable and they work just fine. Once you have your set of rakata stims, you drop bioanalysis and pick up slicing. You have to keep biochem in order to be able to use your rakata stims. You'll use slicing to get credits + slicing parts + schematics and missions you can sell. You will use diplomacy to get crew gifts and to increase your light (or dark) score to light V or dark V. And that is how crew skills work in this game. Anything else you pick is basically, literally, of little value except for roleplay reasons or just because you feel its interesting. Patch 1.2 didn't do anything to change that. - P

I've been trying for over a week now to get schematics for moddable gloves and boots for armormech via underworld trading and I've had no luck. I have dozens (literally) of schematics for head, chest and legs, but no boots or gloves. Am I just unlucky or is this a bug? - P

No, not worth coming back. Patch 1.2 really didn't improve crew skills much, cept maybe it helped RE a little. On the plus side, patch 1.2 brought a new instance and ops. On the down side, 80% of servers are ghost towns, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone to do the new content with. In addition to servers being ghost towns, the only indications of server transfers we've been given is early summer. By then, there will be Diablo 3, possibly the next WoW expansion, and of course there is Tera which was just released. Unless you want to return to a single player version of star wars, I suggest you stay away and save your $$$. - P
