  1. The problem is, when players are "less stupid" no one gets past the first door.
  2. I'm not mad, you need to stop trying to make this about me. I've kept calmy shutting down your arguments and you've really said nothing of substance in your posts or even attempted to counter my points. I have no problems with the people who say "I like it for fun", that is a more valid statement than anything you've said. I do fine on VS, my view comes from getting to rank 70 on my main and rank 60 on my alt and playing all three WZs countless times. Please tell me what the coordination is. "Look at the door guys" "Make sure there is always a purple man picture by a door on your minimap". An organized pre-made v pre-made will never have the attacking team get past the first door. Not once has the enemy team capped my door in the pre-mades I've run. This is bad design, no?
  3. I've concluded you have no comprehension whatsoever, that is what my tone has been leading up to which I originally thought was just naivety rather than full-blown lack of reading skills. Never did I imply healers should be removed. Never did I say composition isn't important. Never did I say Huttball is without flaws. My original post and subsequent ones were about the flawed, bland, design of Voidstar that lacks finesse from players to be playing it effectively. All you've been doing is de-railing my original thought without any real counter arguments backed by solid points. "You're bad" "You should get an organized pre-made" Aren't arguments. Like I said, I do fine in VS, you keep trying to make this thread about me. If you disagree with my opinion on VS that's fine, but don't try to make it look like anything but a deathmatch.
  4. And yet, there is more teamwork than Voidstar will ever have. I disagree, there are a lot of ways to disrupt the flow of passing via knockbacks, intercepts, pulls, straight up killing someone, stuns, etc. All that is happening in VS is people having a bloodbath in the most linear path possible. Yeah, why should one class ever be required? I believe that coordination should trump composition. Civil War and Huttball at least allow this option. Having healers is always better, never said it wasn't. You keep arguing how amazingly skilled you need to be to win a Voidstar, but still have not told me where the finesse in play comes in.
  5. If one man is winning in your Huttball games, you should get organized. Voidstar is a cesspool and a spamfest. I'm still waiting for any counters to my points. What does one man do aside from being a healer to affect the outcome of a Voidstar game? My original point is that composition >>>>>>>>>> coordination; won't matter if you're a pre-made if the other team has two decent healers, you won't ever win like you can in Huttball or Civil War. Ninja'ing a door is cool and all, but the level is flawed if you require the other team just not looking at the door. When two good pre-mades with healers get matched against each other in VS, no one ever breaks the first door. ***Note: I have been talking strictly from my end-game BM geared perspective for over 3 months, in and out of pre-mades, my experience is that Voidstar is just as I said in my original post.
  6. This is a post about how bad its design is, don't change the subject. I do fine in it.
  7. It's such a shallow WZ, did any of you even read the post. I guess if you like repetitevely hitting **** with a stick it's all cool. CW/HB at least require some positioning, you just run out and spam your rotation in VS.
  8. This Warzone is terrible as composition >>>> coordination more than any other WZ and the outcome is generally apparent after the first half minute into the game. Do you have healers? How much healers do you have? This is such a shallow WZ, it's mind-boggling how it got into the game - Voidstar is nothing but a glorified deathmatch; you may as well have a bot spam your rotation since you really never need to do anything else. You empire fools might not like to hear it, but Huttball has much better design, at least there is variance in play. Voidstar is the only WZ where healers are absolutely req'd to win. The fact that here are two doors means nothing, they are literally 3 seconds apart. You can see what their intention was, but by god is it simplistic level design. VS needs to be a lot bigger and have coolor, more intricate terrain like catwalks, lifts, corridors that don't quickly merge, anything, if it's not going to be a straight-up spamfest gauntlet run. Right now it's just a bland, boring WZ, that requires no finesse. ***Note: I have been talking strictly from my end-game BM geared since Dec perspective, in and out of pre-mades, I am sure it feels like a competetive WZ in the 1-49 brackets, where organization is less and sometimes people just don't LOOK at the door or know how to watch the minimap.
  9. Kinetic, if you want to play stealth burst make an Operative. Haven't tried the Bal tree yet since Kin is too damn amazing. Maybe 5-10% of the Shadows on my server still actually run ST in the 50's brax. The survivability/dps gain/loss is ridiculously disproportionate.
  10. I'll second this, the Imps get crushed in WZs, but do well in Illum as they outnumber pubs 2/3:1. I've yet to come across a good Imp pre-made
  11. RE'd over 40 blue Implants, no purple whatsoever.
  12. And what do you suggest? No one is saying expertise doesn't give you an advantage. If you remove expertise or nerf it too much, people will simply gear out in Rakata, which is even less accessible to the casual player/PvPer. You guys really need to think things through sometimes. I also might suggest to the TS, you look pretty foolish since I don't see how some 10% damage/mitigation from expertise changes a triple digit crit into a 4k crit, it's not JUST expertise. In addition, you are comparing a tank class to a stealth class. When you change classes and specs, things can change; whether it be results and/or survivability. tldr; you're naive to attribute all of your conceived problems to expertise alone.
  13. Just doesn't make sense that Shadow/'Sin hybrids got nerfed into the ground basically leaving only pure specs viable while Sage/Sorc hybrids remain untouched.
  14. Sever Tendon is awesome and unaffected by resolve. The "other" stealth class does not have this nor the insane opening burst damage + knockdown out of stealth, nor medium armor or self-heals. I have both stealth classes and Operatives are far better at killing **** faster.
  15. I'm tearing it up on my Operative. Sounds like you want a buff against Tanks?... Just wow.
  16. Concealment - better burst, better crits, better vanish ability, never energy starved, heals, weak shield, aoe mez, poor mobility out of stealth Infil - can sustain dps indefinitely, better sap, resillience, force speed, lightsaber, low slash, paper armor tldr; if you want to kill **** play Concealment, if you want to play a Shadow spec Kinetic or Balance.
  17. Population has definitely dropped on my server as well, there would usually be 180+ people on at peak hours for Repub, it has since dropped by around 50% to 70-90. Should've known better than to play a game that Gabe Amatangelo was involved with.
  18. ^ And if his CC breaker was on CD and he had sound mind to use it quick enough, Force Stun. The ability needs to be renamed Hand of God. There are also so many fatal ledges in Ilum as well, particularly Central. It's insane how well those skills complement each other.
  19. You don't need to play 16 classes to know Illum is fail.
