Pretty much this. The days of PvP being dominated by DPS classes with a healer hiding in the back are over. The need for tanks is a little more subtle but it's just as important.

PvP in Gear-based games is ineivtably gear-based and it's more obvious because you can't pick the level of difficulty you face. The ranked warzone system is an attempt to get the higher tier players into their own bracket so the others have a chance to progress without getting facerolled.

Or you could do Ilum. Seriously, during a good day I finish my daily in less than half an hour.

This. Sometimes I feel like playing Warzones and sometimes I feel like doing Ilum. Usually I go to one after I've had too much of the stupid crap from the other.

Get a second healer and a tank to guard you, it takes huge amounts of dps to burn down a well protected healer.

As it should be. Having to get facerolled until your Faceroll Level is at a certain point is dumb.

Engineered World PvP is a fail idea anyway. Very rarely does it lead to anything besides PvE-like farming. Better to create opportunity for world PvP for it and let the community go from there.

I use that when I go sawbones for pvp and occassionally get both medic and soldier medals. For PvE I get kolto cloud and imp diagnostic scan just because it's another mass HoT and the diagnostic talents are a great way to refill energy while waiting for a UH proc or when it's not necessary to do a big aggro-grabbing spell.

They'd get to do it once every 20 minutes in solo PvE only with a companion out. Not that big a deal.

All these clones do is help WoW in the end because of the following: 1) Inevitably, a new develoepr can't release the amount of content WoW currently has to keep the bunnies running on their treadmills and happy with the game. They start to miss WoW and it ends up being a free advertising campaign. 2) WoW turns around, looks at what each new game introduces and then adds to their own game to appeal to that audience. The Firelands were their answer to Rift's open grouping, and earning ExP in their battlegrounds was from War. I wouldn't be surprised if MoP came out with voice acting and a bolster mechanic for lowbie PvP.

Only when I have low hp, my CC/break is down and there's no heals nearby. Also, ops and scoundrels are great in huttball, try flashbanging a group running over a fire trap and see what I mean.
