Bounty week started on August 14th so, as it is a week it will end for the 21st. The event is monthly though.

When they have a release ready for testing I guess

I just have to say that this guild is really great. A bunch of very helpful people who will do all that they can to make your enjoyment of the game better. The member numbers grow and interest in casual/serious role-play as well as pvp and other things are there. This is very much a mix and match guild - you do what you like. If you want to pvp then group up with the others who wish to pvp. If you want to role-play then hunt down some of the others in one of the many cantinas people seem to end up in trying to forget when that last mission went belly up. If you just want to run through the content then team up with a buddy and share the experience - they are a lot more interesting than your companion! Visit the web site (linked in my signature) to find out a whole lot more.

Do flashpoints, daily quests and pick up some crafting skills where you can sell your things. Or you can sell off stuff from Cartel Packs - that normally is a nice earner but you of course have to purchase the cartel coins in the first place. It's not really all that hard to make money as long as you ensure you do not have to spend a lot (on repairs) earning it.

Pod-Racing ( this must be added in , to stop the game dying)
Elrada replied to daemonnl's topic in General Discussion
Pod racing - no This was introduced to Star Wars Galaxies because a few very vocal people said it was essential. A course was laid out and mechanics to track times. It was a flop - and that was before the massive changes to combat and skills which drove many away from the game. Better instead to spend valuable development time on fixing things which impact all users and putting in new and interesting value adding content which is not just aimed at the top levels. -
When does the friends of SWTOR program come back?
Elrada replied to TheSeventhJedi's topic in General Discussion
As far as I recall the rewards for referring were before F2P so I would doubt it will ever be back -
You need to have purchased the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion and go to Makeb. You also have to be level 52 I think in order to get the quests which give you the items needed.

Ah you have just got to love the free market economy. Where everyone can charge whatever they like and it is down to the consumer to decide what it is they are willing to pay. I undercut and I am happy to do so. Just last night someone on fleet was in chat wanting to sell an item for 700K when there were already four of the same items listed on the GTN for 100K. Some people just wish to gouge people for a fortune when others are quite happy to make a decent "profit" and get on with playing the game.

This really ought to be in the suggestion box - oh and "bumping" will not help you as that's frowned upon.

There is a good reason why there are restrictions on trade and the main reason is credit farmers. Not having the ability to use disposable accounts to do trade of credits means that this game destroying business goes on a lot less than it would otherwise. I am pretty sure that there are ways around this for people that have regular contact with f2p - can they not use the guild bank as a drop off and pick up?

The experience a subscriber gets for their monthly fee is a benefit of being a subscriber. If this was placed on the CM as an unlock for F2P it would make crazy business sense for BioWare / EA as one of the main benefits of paying a monthly fee would be removed as subscribers could unsub, purchase the unlock (even 5000 CC is roughly just 3 months subscription), and get the 100% exp essentially for "free" the rest of the year and BioWare / EA would miss out on nine months subs. This is based on the assumption that the unlock would cost 5000 CC and most subscribers would see yet another subscriber bonus being removed and vote with their credit cards by ending subscriptions. In other words, this would potentially be financial suicide for the game.

Just go back into preferences then select chat, adjust the chat panel alpha to something other than it is, apply, put back to what it was, apply, sorted

Nooo Corso is amazing, sweet and sexy. If you don't like your Corso then send him my way as I don't mind having a ship full of clones

Top 3 things you would like changed, fixed or added?
Elrada replied to Darknessinme's topic in General Discussion
1) Chat bubbles 2) Some quests open only to light or dark levels 3) Recolour ability (even at a cost) for armour -
BioWare keeping the tax Money for themselves!
Elrada replied to LohKey's topic in General Discussion
Why oh why does the OP not just pick up the telephone and speak to billing? If it is an error then it will get sorted - if it is not an error it will get explained. Complaining and debating it here without contacting billing is pointless -
Well I died a couple of times while doing the non-pvp event dallies and my repair costs do not look any different at all - just a couple of thousand. I was really worried after reading this thread before I visited a merchant to repair as I expected to see the 120K that the character had on him vanish but he still has a comfortable amount of credits. I guess this must really depend upon what gear you are wearing and what mods are in it. If they were all roughly the same level before then I suppose you will not notice a change. If you has lower level armour shell but high level mods then you will notice a big change.

Hopefully you will not encounter this issue for a very long time. These security keys are supposed to have a battery life in the range of three to five years. Just make sure you can remember your security questions and answers and all will be well.

The race unlock is legacy wide - i.e. on the same server only.

You are totally correct about the vanity mounts in WoW - I fail to see why people complain. You can't get the vanity mounts in WoW via questing and if you want them you pay. That's why they are vanity mounts. No problem at all in adding things into Cartel market provided that they remember to add SOME content in game to obtain as well please.

I doubt players will be able to reply to you on those questions - unless they have done exactly what you ask themselves. Your best best is to file a CS ticket and ask the people who we pay to be experts.

The following text is lifted directly from the Help Center:- Real Money Trade The act of using real money to purchase in-game commodities such as currency, items, characters and accounts is strictly prohibited by our Terms of Service. Engaging in these transactions has a very serious negative impact on the Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ game economy and the accounts involved. This type of behavior promotes and supports other damaging activities such as ‘botting’ (please see our Hacking and Exploits policy) and ‘keylogging’ (for more information on keyloggers, please click here) which negatively affect the gameplay experience for all other players. Buying Credits or Services The purchase of in game currency or services with real-life money is harmful to the in game economy and Star Wars: The Old Republic itself. For these reasons, and many others, purchasing any in game currency or in game service with real life currency (money) is strictly prohibited. When an account is linked to the purchase of such goods or services, it can result in temporary or permanent suspension of that account.

Dark side and bald looks best especially if you enable the dark side corruption.

Totally outstanding artwork - I wish some of it was possible in game. In the meantime we have to be grateful for the covert torso armour.

Actually they have acknowledged that some players want mods whereas others do not. Both have equal and valid reasons.
