  1. 1 v 1 pvp Hammer shot for slow and DoT - Assault plastique - incendiary round - HiB - FA - Stock strike (hit them with this as often as tactically possible), HiB, Hammer shot untill assault plastique refresh and repeat. (if the proc doesnt go off for insta HiB you can either try Charged bolts for another chance but by now the cool down on assault plastique has finished and its time to refresh Incendiary round and hammer shot DoTs... by then, you guessed it, HiB natural cooldown has also finished... repeat rotation) this will drop targets quicker than even they can expect... dont be afraid to get in there and use stock strike, its a battle winner! Dps pvp You just have to keep the aoe's/dots going... usually at the doors in Void star or capping on alderan. Start with plasma grenade or plasma charge as the enemy dont get a warning for these, then mortar volley... then use the above rotation on already damaged targets as they have mostl of the time used their dmg mitigation moves/stims... basically be a vulture.

  3. This is supreme info... can anyone be more specific about the power stat and exactly what it increases? I thought it raised the minimum damage of all attacks. Also anyone got info on raising elemental damage? is it the same for white damage? Atm for me its simply wearing a combo of columi and champ gear, trying to stay at a +10% expertise bonus and the rest is aim/power focused. To the OP, what a great post, nice work.

  5. Cunny Funt Kidding, hmm check out the Greek alphabet or something... ancient Egyptian, Aztec... I usually get some inspiration from those.
  6. I am commando and pretty much full assault spec apart from some of the obviously **** perks. The DoTs... I'm pretty sure plasma cell DoT stacks with Incendiary and plasma grenade, that's lots of bleed dmg while you HiB, Assault plastique, full auto, HiB (proc allowing)... get in close during this, stockstike... back off again... top up the DoT's and repeat... goodbye imp! You can beat two at once if your dmg mitigation shield, cc and stims are utilized effectively... . assault plastique is way better than sticky grenade... the crit is awesome, combined with HiB and stockstike... not forgetting the two DoTs... you'll do more than enough dmg for most imps to start backing off or getting desperate and use their knockback (big deal) or their stun, work past that and you've won a 1 v 1 fight. i really do think you have to get in quite close with the class though, I cannot emphasize enough how important stockstrike is to most of my 1 v 1 victories... I think some people expect to kite other players to death using DoTs considering the way they talk about them, your crazy...

Yo, I have a level 46 trooper that was gunnery untill about level 25 then I switched to assault, so I never really got to see what gunnery was all about... to be honest I'm not that interested as I think assault is awesome. I'm having a few issues though... 1. Crit or Power? seems most of our procs are crit based or effected by crit but our crit chance is pretty **** even with decent modded armour. I am crit atm but I'm seriously wanting to know if power is any better before I go through the pain of re-modding everything. 2. Whats the story with grav round?, I know its gunnery and I've never used it. I read that people spam it and own people, sounds like its need some tweaking to bring those folks back down to earth... spamming one move sounds like a really boring fight. I really enjoy the fight I get with the assault spec, you can pour on some dmg, get in close, pour on some more, move back out... if... your procs do you justice, if not... you're pretty much a turret. 3. I know I mentioned pouring on the damage, thats referring to using the most effective moves/skills I have at time as effectively as possible... but, the total amount of damage is pretty poor... in a rare awsome match I might do 200K, thats with good heals and buffs... basically good teamwork. low level mercs are doing like 260k+... wth, not only that, they are nails... I can take them one on one but a couple of hits from another imp and deal is sealed, I'm dead, they live and get healed by some be'atch caster (love using stock stike on them... so satisfying) Dont get me wrong, I think the assault trooper is great fun, its just a little sad that some spammer can own someone that's actually putting in some effort.
