  1. Having the same issue, quite alarmed that three hours later there's nothing on twitter and the server status says Darth Malgus is fine.
  2. Thanks for the response, I've been on Torhead (not at the cap yet) and was thinking based on the skill descriptions going for 29/12/0 but I've never seen that recommended in any builds posted on the forums, so wondered if I was missing something. I'll likely play around with respec's once I hit the cap.
  3. I'm curious, would no-one recommend Unstoppable for pvp? Being immune to controling effects for 4secs while taking 20% less damage seems like a pretty good deal to me...
  4. I actually was a keyboard turner, then I read this thread and decided to go into a few warzones using my mouse to turn, to make sure I did it, I removed turn left & right from A&D and I was amazed at the difference in my mobility. I'm still not practiced with it, but I think you've just improved my pvp original poster. Thanks.

    Idea for WZ leavers.

Seconded. A thoughtful fair solution. Quiting should not be rewarded.
  6. One thing I do as everyone is running to the next room through the corridors once a door's been blown is spam Chilling Scream on the way (but that's pretty specific to Immortal Juggernauts).
  7. I love my Juggernaut, I'm only at Lv 25 but I feel study and strong with the Immortal Tree, When I pace my cooldowns, Invincible, Saber Ward, the 6% retaliation buff I feel like an unkillable monster for about a minute. As for the armour, I love the appearance of Blade Tyrant's Chestguard and Indignation greaves. Real Sith wear Skirts.
  8. I'm not particulary great at pvp, but thus far, I've never left a warzone early, never posted anything in ops that wasn't an inc or gg, never gone afk or given up. I'm proud of that. Wish more folks could say that, *glares at some of the previous posters*
  9. The treatment you can recieve can be pretty bad, I agree. I do find though that you can mitigate a lot of it, by simply clarifying why you've done what you've done. (whether it be in pvp, or flashpoints or whatever) Most folks tend to assume the worst simply because they've went through similar grief to what many of the posters here have already talked about. When you encounter folks who are just plain griefers, well my favourite quote is "Never argue with people over the internet, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

  12. Could it not have been the case, that there was already a Juggernaut Tank in the group who just didn't feel like sharing?
  13. I Have the Solution! Bioware, hand out a medal for Buffing.
  14. Wait so basically, Force Pull, Force Leap and Intercede, shouldn't be used? So basically what you're saying, is melee classes shouldn't be allowed to be competitive in Huttball? *Edit* I missed the "Carrying the ball" part of the original post, my bad.

    I dropped the Ball.

So, I had a "Choke" moment in Huttball, We were 2-1 down about a minute and a half left on the clock and the ball was passed to me and I got rooted, Unleashed was on CD, so I tried to pass, was hammering the button I normal key it to and nothing was happening, I couldn't understand it, then I realised I'd taken it off my hotbar for pve. Naturally I got torn apart before I could get to it through my abilities, and was flamed (which in all fairness was probably justified as I did in fact probably cause that loss). So that's my Huttball goof, anyone else care to share their stories...
  16. No mention of Protection? Edit: To avoid looking foolish, in future I will read the entire thread before commenting, not just the first reply...
  17. Thanks for the totally out of context quote, if you read my comment, it's pretty clear I'm talking about the original trilogy. I'll repost it here.
  18. As Juggernauts I do enjoy that we get three free medals simply for keeping guard up.
  19. I would say you can do it without flashpoints, heroics and pvp, but you'd be making it harder on yourself, I enjoy pvp, and I'm finding I'm facerolling some of the class story by being overleveled when I come to do it and I'm using excess Warzone commendations to gear up my companions nicely, so I can use my quest rewards for mods. It's a wonderful cycle to be in. *Edit* By quest rewards, I mean commendations, in case it wasn't clear.
  20. Hate to do this to you, but I'm pretty sure it's spelt Shaitan...
  21. I'd argue that Server's are a community and the behaviour of the members of that community is dictated by the prevelent culture within the community. If it's okay for someone (obviously really experienced at pvp if the post is anything to go by) to quit if the chips are down, that attitude spreads. Rather than have premade teams, I'd rather see it as expected standard, that random pvp groups, go after objectives, apply buffs, issue inc's in ops, and generally co-operate to the high standard you'd see in pre-made groups. I'm by no means great at pvp, (probably average for a casual player if I was being generous) but I never quit before the end of the match, never flame anyone, and basically try to win using teamwork. Premade teams, imho wouldn't foster the kind of attitude I'd like to see.
  22. Folks in this thread have made cogent arguements both for and against a deserter debuff, I'd propose rather than a debuff, folks who quit a warzone before it's over get tagged with a title (similar to founder, or whatever) which they can't remove for an hour and shows them for the quitters they are. Won't impact anything but their e-peen (thus, hitting them where it hurts) Something like "Coward" "Quitter" "The Wimpy" some thing like that...
  23. I saw the original trilogy back in the late 80's on TV when I was around eight or nine, as far as I'm concerned, what I saw then is cannon. Han shot first, and there is no CGI in Star Wars.
