  1. This is once again EA showing how much it cares about its loyal paying customers that have done nothing wrong. The games population is low already. Let us see how much damage this one does. As I said, with the game population so low any hit is not good for the game.
  2. The cartel market sale has been a thing every year at Christmas time for at least 6 years. Seems like the devs are throwing everything out the window since 7.0. Crazy thing is that this actually makes them more money. Why would they not do it?

  4. I think it would be great if we could have 2 character titles on our character nameplate. This would not include the legacy title. You would be able to have a title both before and after your name. Example (Title/character name/title) This would allow players to use a number of titles in the game that would go in great combination with each other that players would like to use but are limited to one title.

If you are going to shoot an idea down, at least propose a solution. People already base market price based on hypercrates. Under the proposed solution to make the hypercrates BOL and the individual items are BOE, then the only way to get money for it would be the GTN since you couldn't mail it or trade it for credits. If you are suggesting people will begin to barter...then honestly that is fine. People will still mostly use the GTN because it would be faster. Eventually, all of the excess credits would drained from the game (might take a long time but it would eventually happen). Again, inflation is a huge problem in game and this is a viable solution. Don't just shoot it down as stupid and not post a possible solution of your own.

  7. Please buff Arsenal and Gunnery Specs. It has been the bottom half (at least) since 3.0. It has gone down hill ever since the proc for unload/blazing bolts that gave a 25% dmg boost was taken away a while ago. It is near the very bottom of the dps charts now. No NIM and most HM groups won't allow a arsenal or gunnery spec into their team or raid. A great buff would be for superchage gas to last for eight seconds and for all abilities to crit during supercharged cell. Yeah the pvpers are going to complain that it is op but these specs have been near the bottom for far to long and the last "buff" did almost nothing to improve the spec. Been waiting for years so I don't expect anything but decided to post because why not.
  8. This post once again comes at impeccable timing. It has not even been that long since you have said that you want to hear our feedback and will take it into consideration. I would like to know who has been complaining about classes needing nerfs? The only class that I have heard talked about among PVE people is operative/scoundrel healers. None of the other proposed changes I have heard complaints about. That means it must be coming from the smaller PvP player base for the game. The question is why would you base class changes on the smallest portion of your player community. You fix pvp (until they complain about something else because they always do) but screw everyone else that plays more of your released content than PvPers. It is like you don't want to have any viable range classes anymore in NiM ops. Mercs/Mandos are already terrible, even with the so called "buff" from a couple of weeks ago. With TK/Balance going going down that pretty much leaves Snipers/Slingers, and they are not good to bring in every fight and they are not able to carry the other range classes. This brings the other issue of not being able to bring every class to NiM ops. You should be able to bring any class to any ops at any difficulty level as long as you are good enough. You should not be relegated to playing classes that are the "flavor of the month" because of PVP changes or the rantings of the top 1% of the Nim community who seem to want to make it their job to put everyone down any chance they get. Did the community as a whole ask for these changes? NO. What people are talking about is how ridiculous R4 is in both SM and HM. They are talking about how for 6 years everyone was able to get top gear, only now for it to be put behind bosses that only "sales teams" can beat. Then those sales teams want to sell it to you for ridiculous prices (credits or hypercrates) putting a huge strain on the in game economy. From the communities point of view it looks like the Devs are only looking out for the top 1% of the raiding community when they put out raids that only can be completed by them at the hardest difficulty. How many more people are going to have to leave this game in order for the developers to stop catering the games content to smallest portion of the community? I have been playing this game since launch without breaks. I have never seen the community this ticked/depressed over the release of a new OP before. Players need to be given a change to clear things at the hardest difficulty. These class changes, not nerfing R4, and not making 340 gear obtainable for all players only promotes the point that the developers are not listening to the player base at large and only listening to the few. I hope all of these class changes don't happen. I wish for a merc/mando buff, (give us back the 25% increase damage to bolt storm on proc that you took away years ago) I hope R4 gets a nerf in SM and HM, (because saying an op is balanced when you have to bring 6 dps to meet the check and have NO mechs required for a tank to be present isn't balanced) and make top gear accessible again for all players like it has been for 6 years. I hope you mean this time when you say that you will listen to the community about changes and what needs to be fixed. It has not been like that in the past but here is to hoping. It is only anyone's guess how long the game is going to last with the direction the game is going.
  9. How about the devs make the game more accessible gear wise like it has been for years. Then the game will be more accessible to everyone and not just the top tier players that are toxic. Then they will complain that the game is too easy to the point where they leave the game because they can't lord their accomplishments over everyone. Then they can take all the BS with them and let the rest of us finally have a game that is targeted to the majority of it's players.

  11. Explorer of Manaan achievement is bugged and not completable. I have visited all areas on the map on Manaan and it will not complete.
  12. The Mek-Sha Sightseer achievement is currently not able to be completed. The Visit the Hutt's End Pier where you have to click on an object to get the achievement is blocked by the entrance to the R-4 operation. Please fix. Edit. Was moved to different part of the platform. No fix required.

  16. The fact that their is only one way to get the best gear in the game is not good. Developers should have made multiple ways to get the best gear in the game. Developers should be giving a majority of their players the tools (gear) they need to try and complete all of the content they possibly can. That way it comes down to skill to clearing things. I know the toxic portion of the NIM community will twist what I just said but it shouldn't. The reason they shouldn't is because just because people have doesn't mean they will still be able to complete all the NiM content. They will still be able to do their sales runs at highly inflated prices that only people who can afford to buy either credits or hypercrates from the market can afford. I would like to take the game back to 6.0 where everyone could get max gear and it did come down to skill to do top content. You still had your top NiM community trying to gate keep but it wasn't as bad. Now it feels like these people have Developers support when they only make one way to get gear, and put it behind content that only "sales teams" can beat. I wonder how long it will take for even more people to leave this game because of this latest mess.
  17. The ones pulling the best numbers are playing strong AoE specs. Their numbers might look high, but the damage on boss is a lot less. However, you kinda need those specs to handle adds quickly. As someone who has cleared this and watched other groups pulling it, every single one of them has had 2 or 3 strong AoE specs, so the numbers are deceptive. While yes you do need "decent" numbers, the mechanics involved are not SM mechanics. It is a lie to call it such. Even Izax wasn't this bad at launch. Now all you need to do to win is be able to drop shields, interrupt, and then survive missiles. Note that there was only 1 mechanic per phase to overcome. With Lady D, the situation is you have knockbacks, stuns, and adds that will eat people alive all in burn. You can't seriously be able to expect SM players to be able to handle all of that at once. And to repeat, the only people that have cleared this encounter have been dedicated raiders. It is a disservice to every non-prog raider (the vast majority of players) to call this a SM. Those of you with timers, have recleared everything in 7.0 already, we get it, you're good. Everyone else isn't that good. You have HM to bang on, or farm if you've already cleared it. The rest of us can't do that. We know. We just want a SM that is actually SM and let people do their story. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 100 % AGREED.   18. I agree. This recent merc/mando "buff" has not done anything noticeable. I was a main Arsenal/Gunnery in 6.0 that was able to do timed runs and do a decent amount of NiM raiding. That is no longer the case in 7.1. Only the best of the people that play Innovative Ordinance can still do HM/NiM content at this point. The start of the Arsenal downfall is when they took away the 25% damage increase from unload/blazing bolts with the special utility with a name that I don't remember right now. I wish this thread would get noticed by a lot more people including developers but that is highly unlikely. Even more unlikely is that this severe class imbalance gets fixed.
  19. Your argument hinges on that the average skill of the entire SWOTOR community is that of a Hardmare/NiM prog raider. Most people that play Swotor are story players that casually raid with friends or pug for the story or fun. Devs should be focusing on the community as a whole when developing content. Gearing content so that a vast majority of players can clear content at its most basic level to experience the game. After that, then offer a challenge to the more experienced raiders. To cut out a vast majority of players clearing story content is a formula for failure. As ultimately people will leave a game where developers create content that is story based and is too hard to complete. You can keep HM/NiM at the difficulty where it takes hard work and dedication to beat. When it comes to SM however, it should be relatively easy to complete.
  20. Let's try to keep this forum on topic please. I hope this thread get's dev's attention because most casual SM players do need a nerf for this op. Even more so when it has a decent little story. I think almost all player should be able to complete SM ops. Otherwise you will lose a lot of players. It should not be the goal of devs to gear SM or even Hm ops to 5-10% of players. Thank you for all of your contributions so far.
  21. I agree. I have been playing this game since launch and Lady Dominique is definitely the hardest boss to beat at release in SM. I believe that a large majority of your players should be able to clear SM ops. Right now I don't see how a majority of players can clear this. The first three bosses are okay. It is Lady Dominique that needs a nerf. The thing is that R4 actually has a good story to it and a lot of people will want to do it. Especially those that play the game just for the story and were fans of the original KOTOR games which this story draws from. It is too bac that at least as of right now most of those players won't be able to enjoy it. I hope this gets fixed before players decide to leave over it because they think the developers are trying to make content that most of the player base can't do on purpose.
  22. Agreed. At this point only 1-5% of the entire raiding community can do NiM ops. Way more of the community than that should be able to do the games hardest content. This is a step in the right direction. Now only if they could balance the classes better. Especially the arsenal/gunnery specs that supposedly got "buffed" when it has done almost nothing. While meta classes can do things easy. Not everyone wants to play those classes. Again though, a good step in the right direction was health reduction.
  23. I agree. I also think that you should be able to use golden certificates to buy emperor chips. Have many golden certificates with nothing new to buy off of the vendors. Should have at least that option.
  24. Since there is no new things to buy on the Nightlife vendor, people have golden certificates piling up. I suggest that you could trade in Golden Certificates to buy Emperor chips.
