From a guy with no MMORPG experience coming new into this one I would have to say its bad. 2 months of subscription and I've already cleared all the hard contents(Nightmare operations and all hard modes) reached battlemaster rank and hell even before BM I was taking down fully geared battlemasters with my level 49 pve weapon. Game is a total joke when you hit end game. Its just grind grind grind all day. Ilum was fun when it wasn't a total one sided zerg and wz's were fun until you realize that you've been in each wz over 100 times.

No, this game lacks the flair of drawing people back into the game, probably won't play until the new expansion comes out. I can honestly tell you hands down I have finished the game, not 100% but at least it feels that way to me. I have of course yet to collect all the datacrrons get the 2 hour and under Nightmare Operation runs and full battlemaster gear but I have finished all the nightmare operation runs, attained battlemaster, finally completed my full champion set, finished all the flashpoints and is one of the better pvpers on my server. After all of that this game is too much a grind plus to me I have achieved everything there is in the game, all the hard contents cleared. People say get battlemaster gear or make alts but why? Just repeat the same thing over again and complete contents I have already cleared and with much boredom? Bioware has lost its touch on what a great game is, instead its just a cash cow. After this game and after ME3 I have no desire to play Bioware games anymore, they lack too many things. Especially the replay value. I've played KOTOR over and over again and Mass Effect over and over again. The stories were intriguing and made me want to play the sequel to both games even though KOTOR II was made by another company. tl;dr: Game is lacking. Get better Bioware, you used to be great now its just terrible. Also, don't make your customers pay $870 for the full game of Mass Effect 3.

I used to pvp with 20k hp and that popular vanguard shield/assault hybrid spec, couldn't tank much, just had a lot of utility. Then I switched over to pure Assault(Pyrotech) Spec and found out that I was a lot better at tanking with my DPS spec than the tank hybrid. Reason being...? People that attacked me got killed faster and I ended up taking less damage. Also had 30% mitigation to energy/kinetic + the 12 second 25% bubble means I was capable of taking a lot of damage. tl;dr: Go DPS.

There are no tanks in PVP, there are people with high hp but no mitigation tanks. You want to get pieces that are for DPS users or you can pick pieces that have high end which will increase your hp pool. Usually they come with shield/absorb mods/enhancements and you need to switch them out for crit/surge/power mods/enhancs for you to be useful in WZ's/Ilum. I've seen Shadows run around with kinetic ward and shadows that do not, in the end its up to you if you want to use it. Yes you'll be easy target for people that have a lot of tech/force attacks but you'll have enough hp pool to survive it and smack their face in.

I camped a lowbie zone and when a level 50 came we killed him thus creating open world pvp.

BH story is far superior although I do have to say their amor does look a bit lackluster when you hit 50. They also have 4% more resource pool, better animations and are superior to the trooper. So roll a BH.

Bump for these poor folks. They signed up for SWToR to PVE AND PVP yet they're only getting half the value they invested. Shame on you Bioware. Think the biggest issue is that the mirror classes are not actually "mirrors". BH is better than a trooper. (Unload/Deathfromabove) Inquisitor is better than a Consular (Shock/Chainlightning) IA is slightly superior to the smuggler. (DetCharge/Crotchkickstun) Sith Warrior is slightly superior to the Jedi Knight (Forcescream) Players just choose the side that have a slight advantage over another.

Bravo MrTerrito, bravo. Good vid indeed showing off your amazing skills as a bounty hunter merc. To the fellow trolls I would like to point out his amazingness. 1. He LoS'ed all of his opponents while keeping sight on his on members, this deserves commendations. Not many people can LoS their enemy and not their party members. (in case you didn't realize the enemy and his party members are both melee) 2. The way he casts his spells, its like water, fluid and graceful you can tell by the animation. He did this on purpose btw, nonetheless skill indeed. 3. His hotbar, numbers 1-4 are all healing skills, praise be unto you MrTerrito for managing your skills nicely. 4. He uses his drop aggro skill in PvP which causes all the mindless players he was fighting to focus on the tank he was healing rather than him, again not many people can accomplish this. To sum it up nicely, MrTerrito is prolly the best pvper in the game. 10/10

The easiest by far I can think of is to strip everyone of their gear when they enter warzone so all the players can do is fist each other.

If you want damage reduction, use Taugrim's build otherwise use the common shield/assault hybrid or even Oozo's Tactics/Assault hybrid. There are no better builds than those three for PVP. Don't expect to last long in PVP even with all the damage reduction, the only way you can do it is to kill the opponent faster than he can kill you and in all honesty have yet to see a good vanguard that relies on damage mitigation (maybe taugrim but hes not on my server)

So 3v1'ing as a vanguard is impossible? Hmmm... I wonder how I pulled that one off. Maybe you're just ... nah I won't say it, prolly get me another warning from bioware for stating the obvious.

1 trick pony, set up, smash, set up, smash. Pocket heals + pocket guard renders this build invincible.

Against a marauder/sentinel the first thing you should do is panic in a 1v1 situation. Arguably the best 1v1 class out there and will pretty much take down anything that stands in front of them 1v1 wise. Just stun him and run or get some players to kill it.
