  1. Don't get me wrong I do still struggle to keep some people up in pvp due to the damage increase but I just personally think some people are making these changes sound worse than they actually are. I'm still seeing Sorcs and BH's doing just as good. Suppose it also depends on your opponents. Danglars <3 I'm still not 100% sure what I think of the turn of pace, there are times where I'm enjoying it and others where I'm thinking *** just happened. Bioware might change it up again in the future but for now it's a matter of doing the best you can with what you've been given.
  2. Operative Healer here. When I did my first warzone since the patch I was not ready at all for it, took me a bit by surprise but I quickly got my bearings and am now doing pretty well as a healer in warzones again. I'm finding it more challenging and that works in my favour, i'm finding it a bit more fun than pre 1.2 and it feels more pleasing when I do keep people alive and help win the game for my team. In general I've see alot of people saying hard to heal and i've already seen some healers respec to dps but personally I don't understand why they're being so negative about it. It's one of those things that look bad at first but give it enough time you'll adapt and overcome. I cannot speak for other classes but as far as Operative goes we're still powerful healers and still have much to offer in regards to pvp healing. Also a little more protection from non-healers wouldn't hurt
  3. I look forward to the challenges ahead, any decent player will still be just as good regardless of nerfs. Also nerfs are never as bad as some people like to make out.
  4. I had a voidstar game recently where I ended up with 778k healing at the end of it. I had guard on me the entire fight and also the jugg that had guard on me actually tried his best to keep people off me which gave me more room to get my Kolto Injection cast off without having to watch out for interrupts. I tend to put 1 stack of kolto probe on people who are below 100% hp but are not taking massive amounts of damage and keep 2 on the main target which seems to be taking the most of the damage(in this case my jugg protector). If I see 3/4 people bunched up that are taking damage then i'll use my aoe heal also do use it on myself as an extra hot if needed and my energy allows it. Also spamming Surgical Probe <30% is awesome! But I always play to heal for the objectives and not to get high numbers, the healing numbers will eventually come naturally. The 778k healing is a rare, i've hit 700k+ a couple times before but for the most part depending on what happens I normally end up around 300k - 500k.
  5. I did a full lethality build this weekend(I've only ever played healing operative) for a bit of fun and I can say I did have fun with it. For Operative it does need a few improvements such as increasing the range and something like dot ticks have a chance to grant tact advantage but overall it isn't too bad. The main problem I came across was my energy levels but apart from that you can really mess someone up. I wouldn't recommend it as a primary pvp spec but if you're looking for something different it's worth doing it for a few days. I had fun playing it.
  6. Alot of the problems I see when it comes to losing is lack of communication or people just not paying attention to what's happening around them. I notice this mainly on Aldaraan.

    Valor Ranks above 60...

I like to pvp on this game quite alot and even though there is no real reward apart from a title it's something nice for me to work for while pvping. It's not something i'm going to sit there and grind for 12+ hours a day but each valor rank is a nice little goal to aim for.
  8. I can't wait for ME3, it's where Bioware's true quality will shine!
  9. I'm sure you can live with it happening once a week.
  10. I'm waiting to actually get in game and test it before I thank them.
  11. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean to come off as all defensive, I myself do not keyboard turn or click abilities, I was just making a general statement. I do try to encourage people who stick with the clicking to atleast try out keybinds and see how they get on because like you said it will help them in the long run.
  12. With the amount of CC that's currently being used in warzones, the hazards are fine as they are.
  13. The reason you're seeing so many people using this method is probably because it's a new game and it's attracting all types of people and/or there are alot of new mmo players that need time to figure things out and discover the joys of keybinds. But iff people want to play by using keyboard turning and/or clicking abilities then that is entirely upto them, There is no set way on how to play the game. Will it put them at a disadvantage? probably, but they're not all bad players or "scrubs" to which they are referred as.

    Healers are OP

As an Operative healer I am going to go ahead and disagree. There are many times where I have died fast where I go "*** just hit me" but alot of the time I can survive mutliple people on me at once, well if I have places to use los etc. But as someone mentioned if i'm constantly healing myself the chances are i'm not healing my team mates. Any decent player i've come across constantly give me a rough time, You don't have to actually kill the healer to keep them out of the game. I think healing at the moment is good, maybe needs a few tweaks here and there but for the most part healers aren't the unstoppable machines people seem to think.
  15. I find it useful and a bit of extra healing is nice with the Tox Screen talent
  16. As a med spec I often get around 300k - 500k depending on what happens in the warzone. Voidstar seems to be the one for hitting above 500k but I have managed it a few times in Huttball too. So on average lets say around 350k if the game doesn't end super quick. But numbers mean nothing if you're not smart about your healing. Don't go out looking to get high healing numbers, heal for the objectives and help your team win, the numbers will come naturally. Edit: I have 6 pieces Battlemaster gear, the rest champion. But not a much difference in stats between the sets.
  17. Swtor servers cry when small battles happen in Ilum, it would have no chance doing something like this.

    Nerf healers!!!

I don't even know what to make of this post.
  19. Wish I had a 12 second immunity to interrupts
  20. Things like talents and abilities should be near if not at the top of the priority list, I don't understand why it's taking so long, especially since the Scoundrel version is suppose to be working.
  21. It's like this in most games, you're a new max level so it is going to be more difficult to catch up gear wise but Swtor is probably one of the easiest games to acquire pvp gear in to do so. Just deal with it for a couple of weeks or so and you'll be fine!
  22. Had a good one yesterday. Huttball and our team starting losing so people started leaving then we ended up 4 - 0 down. Someone who had left our team appeared in general chat saying "I just left the losing team and ended up on the winning team yay". We ended up coming back and winning 4-6 and I believe they left again when we started the come back lol.
  23. I got screwed yesterday, I left 5 missions running over night, logged on next day and 4/5 failed
  24. I had no problem finishing my daily/weekly on Ilum today. I found that after I died I started getting credit again.
  25. I do agree we need something else in regard to getting the valor/medals but I honestly don't think it's as bad as some people make out(not talking about the author of the post). We are gearing up a bit slower than some people but the rng bag loot somewhat stops people getting too far ahead.. well if they're unlucky. I haven't come across a gear problem as of yet, maybe I might start to see it soon with people getting Battlemaster rank so fast now.
