Last night was my first time doing Ilum battles, and man..........it was a lagfest. I believe all in all there were around 50-60 people in the same area, and I had issues trying to target people. This is definately something that needs to be addressed, but I don't think it's gamebreaking imo. I still enjoy the game. I even turned down my settings to low to see if it would make a difference, but nope.

I hit 50 yesterday, and now getting into the Ilum stuff....I'm looking forward to having lots of fun with it. PVP ftw.

Keep your stuff, and come back if they make tweaks that are in your favor. Hope to see you back

I'm currently level 38 on my main, and enjoying it as well. I know some don't share the same opinion, but then again I came into this game with no expectations. I truthfully, didn't follow it at all during development. I'm glad I picked it up though. It has it's share of bugs, and things I would change. By no means is the game perfect.

This is just an observation, but I think the reason that they want you to gain social points for certain items is just like grinding commendations for certain items. It's just a different type of grind. I sort of like it, but know that it can get annoying whenever you want something, but don't have the pre-requisites. Again, this is just an observation/opinion.

I rolled empire because I wanted to play with my friends....I'll be rolling an alt on republic sometime though.

I'd like to see them implemented, but it's not a major thing imo.

From what I understand is having mutliple instances of groups of people within a certain area. Say for instance I may be within Nar Shadaa at the exact same spot as you, but cannot see you because you are in Shard #2, and I'm in Shard #1. At least that's what has been explained to me as to what sharding means. I could be wrong.

With the points that you made about legacy and guild banks I would have to say I agree with you, but on the other aspect I'm willing to give them time to make changes as they see fit. If I like it in 3 months then I'll continue subbing.

Ninja'ing nodes is going to happen whether or not it was sharded. I'm a supporter of the game, and enjoying it thus far. Instancing (Sharding) was kind of a dumb idea though. This and the GTN Interface are on my wish list for changes.
