  1. Mine has yet to show up as well...
  2. Guess I have been lucky, just came back to the game after about 4 years away and it's been very stable for the last week since I came back... Hope this is resolved reasonably soon...
  3. i am sure this has already been requested a hundred times... We need more than FOUR action bars, there is so much skill bloat that you quickly run out of space and it is also difficult to segregate the skills properly with only 4 bars.
  4. Tera is just another flash in the pan generic fantasy mmo, Rift had some really nice mechanics and innovations, but the setting was "bleh" and there was no license that gave the environment an instant connection with the players. I WISH SWTOR was a little more innovative, but the license and story lines are sufficient to keep most players going until the game can flesh itself out a bit. I will be picking up GW2 and will play it, just like I did GW1 (which is still on my system), but I will play it concurrent with SWTOR. I will say I am a little depressed that Bioware has opted for such a gear grind in the game, but that is just a staple of sub based MMO's.
  5. I don't know where you guys are playing, I get 8v8 all the time... Oh you meant actually making it through a match with a full team, well no, that never happens...silly goose. You start with 8, usually 1 drops immediately for whatever reason, then as the match begins 2 more drop, because they only queued for the free ride back to the space station. Now you will get 1-2 more drops because it looks hopeless, then the rest of the match is 2-3 guys who stayed, constantly joined by new players who seeing the lopsided match or undermanned team, then immediately leave again. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?
  6. The only reason I am playing this game is the Star Wars license, the main reason I stopped playing some other games (like Rift, which came closer than previous releases to a well balanced mechanic and play) was that they had lackluster or uninspired/boring settings. Bioware has milked the Star Wars license and it is the ONLY reason I continue to put up with a game that feels and plays like something from 2005. I have hopes that they are slowly moving in the right direction, but each new "big" update seems to have odd priority choices.
  7. Then you are doing something wrong. You buy a set of cheap orange armor (the set of the lvl 1 social vendor is a good start), then use your coms to first buy the armoring, then mod then enhancement. You can supplement that with GTN purchases for very little, you can also create a toon of the opposing faction so you can check their GTN as well (since you can mail between your own toons cross faction now). I see blue mods on the GTN at that level for 1-2k a pop all the time, which is not a lot of credits. You are almost always better off buying the individual mods, rather than the filled orange slot from the vendor, since it costs 12-14 coms and the individual mods only cost 11 total per piece. You supplement that orange armor by picking up the occasional green or blue piece when an orange piece has fallen behind. If you are wanting to show positive cash flow, pick up Underworld Trading and level it up as quickly as possible. Stacks of 4 mando iron sell for 20-40k depending on server, promethium also sells for 15-25k in 4 stacks. Aside from the speeder licensing (which is cheaper now) there really isn't that much to spend money on until you get up into your high 40's.
  8. My guild is a multi-game organization, we did no real recruiting for SWTOR and at launch we had 140 players on HoG and around 80 on Juyo. As of this moment, we have 62 accounts on HoG and maybe 50 on Juyo. These people are still members of our guild, but have moved on to new games or back to old ones. I would find it anomalous if this was unique to my group. I play for extended periods at different hours and out guild is international, so we have people in all time zones and it is clear from speaking with them that there has been a dramatic drop off in the number of players. We had a good number move to Fatman and they are very positive about play time there, the biggest difference being that Fatman has consistently higher pop than HoG or other servers.
  9. They did this so you would get the gear, then buy the new player crafted shells to put move the mods into.
  10. I'm just glad the chest piece is the one I did, so I can unify my look and not lose my 4pc bonus. Also you can't put a chest armor mod into a bracer, the way it read was you couldn't do that to receive the set bonus, but it won't let you do it period. Which kind of sucks since I wanted to bump up my orange bracer and belt, but you are stuck with either 126 mods or really pricey player made ones.
  11. How significant is the damage absorption from Blade Barrier? I like that build, but I was thinking of dropping those 2 pts from blade barrier and moving them to Swelling Winds... Balancing decent DPS performance in PVP and still being able to tank in PVE is a real pain the ***...really wish dual specs wouldn't hurry up and get here.
  12. Well I had 500+ cent and just under 1000 champ tokens...didn't have anything to spend them on. So I go to trade them in for PVP boxes...and they are unique. So I buy one, close everything, reopen inv, open box, rinse and repeat...uhg. Why make this crap unique? After looking at what you get from the crafting boxes...it's pretty much crap, so I did several of the gear boxes...more blue crap. Think I may just buy a bajillion credit boxes at this point.
  13. Except that the recruit gear is blue without mods, but other than being completely wrong, you are right. They need to bump the exp on champ gear when 1.2 goes live, it's ridiculous that they aren't.
  14. Yesterday morning I had no problems, logged in, got my kills and moved on. Something broke after that and the flood of no credit kills began. This morning, it was still broken and I could not complete my daily. There were a whopping 11 people in Ilum and the only Imps, were a group of 6 in center, I killed one solo, then grouped with 2 other guys and we killed 3 more. I received no credit for any of them. So it's not a large scale issue, and it's not an instance pop issue, since there were probably less than 25 people in the zone. Someone was insisting the issue was only with Ilum 1, but that was not testable since you need people to cause a second instance to spawn and there were NO people. I am dumbfounded they didn't roll back the patch, but I am also pretty sure they film those Monster commercials with the office full of monkeys, at the Bioware QC department.
  15. I will give them credit...this has stopped the kill trading :-) Sort of like shooting a patient in the head stops the cancer growth...but why nitpick.
  16. Still broken on the HoG. 11:00 AM CST, went to Ilum, killed 4 imps, no valor, no kill credit...kills were at center, did 1 solo and 3 in a group.
  17. Went 2 of 3 this morning, none counted...got fed up and decided to do something else. I'd been avoiding WZ's and was excited to see it was fixed in the patch notes and then infuriated to discover it wasn't. Both the matches that did not count were Huttball on Republic/HoG.
  18. I don't ignore them, but I know that If I expend effort fighting them, the moment things slide to my advantage they will stealth, refresh and then come at me when I'm not expecting it or vulnerable. So I spend my effort on players I can actually kill...

    Is it just me?

If this is even happening it is more than likely rooted in EXPERTISE gear. The Empire has a much easier to farm FP with Black Talon and it's fast too, Republic doesn't have anything like this and our "intro" has a bear of a fight at the beginning and is really long compared to BT. So it's a good bit easier to farm up tokens for gear on the Empire side.
  20. I am so glad they did this before I renewed my sub...saved me $15. I will consider resubbing in a few days depending on how this is addressed and plays out.
  21. I seriously thought I was just being inbred, when I couldn't find the search box...the idea that a company with a flagship title like SWTOR would neuter and render their forums unusable by not having a search function was and is just inconceivable to me.
  22. Yeah I am sure he's paid hourly...what are you smoking?
