    We won't get world PVP till they fix the lag that is more that probably been caused by either the Hero Engine it's self or there re-code of it (. They should just re-port the game to a different engine, sadly I think this game is getting beyond saving, I truly hope I am wrong, I just don't think I am (.
  6. Tank damage has been the N1 problem since beta in this game (if one does not count the Engine troubles this game had/has).

  9. Tanks who use a tanking stance/form/charge should have a damage penalty for using they, tanks do way too much damage compared to any other MMO I have ever seen. Its been ruining the game since launch!

Reduce outgoing damage by a % while Undying/GBTF is up for those 5seconds could be a very good tweak to Mara/Sent, yea I know you sacrifice 1/2 of the health you have a but a decent player uses it right at rockbottom. Dependent on how much reduction affects you then prob another tweak , maybe a longer cooldown on something could be good. Very easy to go OTT with balance. Like any class that is taken on by FOTM players, it is not till you get multiples of the same class dominating in warzones that these oversights in class design are truly exploited. Trouble is in SWTOR is there are so many bad players that even if you get say 4/8+ mara/sents in a group (or any other class for that mater in the FOTM school) many will be bad, but just enough, say 2/3 decent ones combined with healers is enough to tip the balance and make holding a point, scoring a ball or just wining beyond faceroll from stacking far more utility when faced off with equal skill on issue (and please I am not just talking of Mara/Sents here).
  11. Sounds good to me, anything that will help stop turtle play can only be a good thing. Will this aid in this though? Hugh sceptical. I too would have like to see the side speeders removed, this could be an interesting change.

While anyone with half a clue could recognise that burst and TTK needed a major raining-in (far beyond a simple taming from the boost to Expertise and the increases gained from stat increase added to the new PVP sets), I strongly feel it is important to have the mind set that said nurf to Adrenals could be a very good thing for the time being as long as there a is a solid class balance done before Rated WZs go live. It is all very well just taking adrenal potential to add to burst away but in doing so classes that needed these to perform well such as Deception/Infiltration-Assassins/Shadows and other lower played specs that need a hell of a lot of love. I'm all for change, hell I don'y know anyone in my guild that is satisfied enough to keep playing day in/day out , while we welcome the change more flippant,- off the cuff moves to try to bring balance that should be done to the high standard it needs to be done to to move the game forward and provide a bedrock for growth of the game. The game was not terrible beyond the engine issues affecting world PVP/larger instances Pre-1.2 and with the right moves the game could move in the right way. A quick fix is just that and no magic fix. The shear fact that Tanks still have the consistent damage dealing ability that they have is the key problem, especially when they have a healer guarded, this is the key problem with the game in my eyes beyond the engine issues for mass PVP. These factors coupled with the defence that many classes can put out as a pure DPS class has always been cause for concern. While a 1v1 fight situation my present one class not being too far ahead in terms of survivability that is does not flag as an issue in Biowares precious metric system. One should see the larger issue of that when it is combined with the same classes in it own team this advantage to hold points/prevent caps and score balls causes a major advantage. In no other game do you see (to the best of my knowledge) tanks capable of so much consistent damage with having high survivability coupled with we solid utility. (if the nurf to Adrenals bring this in line it is deffo a good move). This game caters far too much to terrible Turtle players, so far so it is beyond belief and if it is not sorted ASAP (as is should have been done months ago) Bioware can kiss goodbye to what is left of the more hardcore PVP community (this has been consistent;y drawn attention to but action). I truly don't even know if this games pvp developers have the skills to bring the spectrum of being balanced as it was prior to 1.2 with the mismanagement we are seeing over the last 6 months (cancelling of Rated WZ's/Termination of World PVP). It truly boggles my mind at the lack of market research of other game systems and other game dynamics that Lucarts/EA/Bioware/Mythic did. An entirely rushed game was thrown out with deep problem with either its coding or more deeper in its coding of their re-program of the hero engine (how could there not have been high capacity tests of Ilum and other such areas done in Alpha, prob a 'we will fix it later attitude'. Mara/Sent and Pyro Vanguard/Powertech were always very very strong in the right hands (Hell Mara/Sent didn't get GBTF/Undying Rage till the last build of Beta because of all the bad players crying on the forums if memory serves so instead of a prop they got a massive performance push over). Performance wise these classe pre-1.2 patch just not as widely played until the FOTM crew moved on from the Operative/Scoundral/Sorc/Sage nurfs forcing those who wanted the strongest specs/classes to give them a better chance in PVP. For the sake of the game I I hope 1.3 is not rushed out, the game is at a very crutial time now and if the class balance to PVP is not done right people will just finally throw in the towel and go play something else, God knows many that were here playing day in day out, already are... TLDR: We at Kyram think that this move could be good but the main focus should be class balance. To this end Nurf tank damage when in guard stances/forms. This would really stop horrid and unskilled turtle play and boost the playability of pure DPS classes but bring the defence down on many of them. Balance in all things... P.s how Gabe still has a job is beyond me.
  13. No Mara/Sent nerfs are a joke, SO are no Powertech/Vanguard Pyro Nurfs. I am super surprised at this not being included from first build of 1.3 to go live. Hopefully the Dev team are still working on these and will be added.

  16. Stop ignoring the PVP player base, a good many of us are still here watching and waiting for change. Many of us are still subbed and others un-subbed but not wanting to play because of the mess that is PVP post 1.2. If you keep us in the loop and listen to us/work with us you can get the game in far better shape. A good fun and balanced game = more players. Please for the love of God, shape up! You as a company are on borrowed time now. Sort it ASAP or the players left are just gonna walk and God help you if you don't fix the mess before Guild Wars 2 comes out.
  17. I put a 60 day time card I got from a mate a day before my free 30 days kicked in as I unsubbed as a protest to get the survey when you unsub. If there not real change on the PVP front I won't be re-subbing or adding anymore time to my account and I will leave SWTOR. That said since I did all this I mainly been playing Tera-Online since PVP in SWTOR just an't no fun playing against 6sentinal/mara 2x healer teams.

  19. Why do you think this is? People are sick of the Pyro/Sent-Mara/TankSin/Shadow groups, its boring FOTM play and people will look elsewhere for their PVP kicks.

I play said class, I quite agree it is OP and is in the list with all the other stuff: Mara/Sent - Damage/Defence Pyro-Vanguard/Powertech - Damage/Burst Sniper/Gunslinger - Damage/Burst Operative/Scoundrel - Defence/Healing output Jugg/Guardian - Rage/Smash Damage That said Deception damage like all classes is through the roof but still suffers from a very predicable rotation to defend against and a lack of survivability, I think if Bioware headed the calls to re-touch the other SIn/Shadow specs more people would play Madness/Deception and there Republic mirrors. On the whole all tanks in this game do far too much damage and with the strength of guard its just all one massive mess. Far too much low skilled "Turtle Play" (Tank/Healer/low amount of pure DPS setups), God knows why they put the speeders back on Civil War? There you go I play this and yep its quite OP to some classes I quite agree (wish more Mara/Sents/Pyros/Operatives had the stones to agree they are OP - we might have a more fun game to play but no we get 20 "Don't nurf me bro threads), that said its only really OP-OP when players don't know how the class works and how to counter health back from abilities and when to CC and take us down. Like I said before Yes we are OP and I think that comes down the the amount of damage that Tank on a whole put out. Been like this since Beta and has been brought up many times by the PVP community (especially Gladiator and 2.5K+ rated players from wow and top tier players from other games).
  21. Biowares lack of communication right on form and it has always been the case that they are not very transparent with the development process of the game. They have been like this since early beta and show no signs of changing. It gets me really mad when they start using PR spin like "We don't release crap" the whole class imbalance since 1.2, the massive mess that was ilum and countless other errors testify to this. At the current time this game is dying and I encourage Bioware to change there ways, get the community more involved and be more open in their plans for the game. Personally I am still subscribed for the next 3 months (inc of my current free month), that said I am not playing the game, it's just one massive mess in PVP at the current combination of no 8 man guess, quiet servers, FOTM class re-rollers on mass Tank-sin-shadow/Mara/SentCity/Pyro-Vang/tech etc etc. We want open PVP that does not lag to stupid FPS (personally I think this is the games engine and bad coding), 8 man queues and incentive to play beyond spamming the same 4 battlegrounds. For the moment I'll keep looking for change and keep playing Tera-Online with the rest of the guild who are mostly all in the same camp as me waiting on change. Bioware get your business in order, we will give you the faith to fix the mess but don't expect us and other to put up with a bad product for too long, we pay you our money, we expect to be given the tools to keep us top tier PVPers and even more so the PVP enthusiasts entertained.
  22. I haven't un-subbed but I am not playing the game in its current state, playing Tera-online instead. Class balances is awful, no 8 man queues, no rated, no world PVP and no sandbox elements make me a sad panda.
