  1. This was stickied in the Inquisitor forum: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=1256 I assume this is the guide you're referring to: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=778 Not sure why it was removed from here...
  2. Any updates on the boots or head pieces yet?
  3. I got discouraged after awhile too. I farmed all of the mobs out on a 50, and at one point, rotated between two 50's when farming Korik and Inath contemporarily. Wow, that seems to reassure me of certain item level ranges elite or champion mobs may drop. The Saber Marshal's Waistwrap's item level is 13, the Dark Sithspawn is 15.
  4. I believe Valen Korik at one point was required for a mission, but that mission has since been taken out. He's located on the back end (opposite of entrance) on the first floor of the Dark Temple to the left. He's by himself at the end of the heroic area.
  5. I wonder if the General title was removed under a similar notion with Sith Warriors receiving the Wrath title. I haven't completed the JK story yet, but thus far have remained strictly LS. If they ever add more character slots, I'd be willing to roll another JK to go DS. 6 Empire DS, 2 Republic LS. Pretty cut and dry.
  6. This. +1 Nothing like comparing items and stats only to have it all wiped for ship droid to come back empty handed. Great implementation, seriously. I didn't think it would remain in game this long but then again, knowing the span in beta, I'm not holding my breath.
  7. Definitely some valid points from the OP. *I* wouldn't necessarily want someone running around with the same surname, so I'd propose some sort of vouching system that would allow the party with the surname first, to bestow it upon another based on acceptance or completion of something. That way, in a case of family, you would be able to collaberate and in the end, have the same surname. As for the numbers, or sharing the legacy, experience contributed should be divided amongst the number of accounts attached to the legacy (assuming the legacy stays account wide per server). Also, if adding an account a penalty should be imposed upon the current legacy level such that you cannot freely add x number of people to an already established legacy. Back to the point, I know a few people who were rather miffed that they couldn't grab the same surname. It definitely should be allowed, even via petition. Keep the legacy systems or experience separate, but at least allow the same last name.
  8. I don't recall anything along those lines, but if that were true, that is extremely dumb. I mean dumb. How awesome would it be to have a collection of minigames inside of the cantinas! And as an above poster mentioned, perhaps a display somewhere within the cantina of current minigame matches or ongoing tournaments. Hell you could even play against the computer I suppose as well for a good number of credits. That would be awesome.
  9. I'm still bummed that they increased the experience for levels 20+. I ended up losing a level and a half as a result. Oh well. Haven't really played besides monitoring GTM lately with the hotbar craze. Waiting for the strobes to die down to play again, hopefully before my sub ends.
  10. Damn I'm still watching the thread hoping anyone has confirmed drops for the boots or headgear. I've periodically sunk a few hours in here and there on killing mobs trying to get either to drop, but I just am unsure of how the loot rng works to even know if its possible from said mobs. Worst part is, unlike DK, there are no champion tier mobs to farm on Tatooine or Alderaan.
  11. The numbers on my server have been lowering overtime as well. Few exclusive crafters I worked with have pretty much dropped, so that market is at a standstill. I know the Lv50 PvP queues haven't improved either. It's been slow times.
  12. What do I want? A reason to log in... followed by a reason to sub.
  13. Otherwise the "free roaming" we have would be cut down even more. You know, free roaming linear planets.
  14. What they should do is simply add an option, perhaps more display choices in the future, on how you want the effects to go. More choice = better. It's a UI end so it can't be THAT advantagous.
  15. Add a bunch of gradiant washout effects and a huge flashbang when your ability is up. Annoying on some chars, depending on the situation at hand. Otherwise it's cool.
  16. I'm sitting on a good account of credits. If they had some sort of banking system that would be nice, it would be a decent time killer. Otherwise, I spend them by buying items at ridiculously high prices. They need more slimmer looking speeders and not the huge shuttles. Price them at like 5m each and call it a day.
  17. I suppose that may be revamped at some future point. I've never, ever seen an Armstech schematic yet.
  18. Agreed. Nerfing is quick and lazy. They could be fixing the invalid schematics, possibly adding ACTUAL schematics to others, you know... the real issues. Instead of solidifying the other crew skills, they simply hit one... over and over and over.
  19. I'm glad I actually troll the forums. I never knew this and was always curious if there was a precise method of shuffling missions. Excellent.
  20. A friend has been looking out religiously for any mention of this and has yet to come up with anything. It's a shame. I haven't hit 400 Cybertech on my alt yet but I get the feeling it's just another half a**ed crew skill thrown together at the last minute. (not that I haven't heard confirmation from many other Cybertechs already)
  21. You know the perks of Biochem. You know the perks (lol) of other crew skills. You made a choice not to pick Biochem, so you suffer from having to buy consumables. I don't see the issue. As for choice, yes it's fairly obvious what is viable. That can easily be changed if they actually revamped the skill req/BoP items for the other crew skills. Hell for Artifice or Armstech, perhaps you can make different color crystals available only to them with a higher rating than normal. I could see that selling alone. For the armor crafters, give them a couple uniform suits or perhaps a method of dying a particular armor, such that the synthweaver could dye his own armor whatever color (provided it's light armor and for force users, etc.) You know, crap like that. People eat it up.
  22. Give each craft a set of BoP gear with superior rating that is reasonable to craft, i.e. not needing Biometric Crystal Alloys. Also make these items require a skill level of that particular crew skill. We already see what happens when you don't. Take those BoP items and create an additional set (similar to what they did with Rakata) for the Biometric Crystal Alloy or "Op/HM exclusive raid" items.
