  1. I support that! I love playing alts, and hoarding the same achievement 2, 3... 6 times is a pain!
  2. I have to agree with that. One day makes no big difference to the players, but it's a considerable pile of money when it becomes 1.3m days. When mistakes happen and ***** spills around, the mistake tends to do not happen again. When mistakes happen and it's all fine, people tend to get sloppy and less cautious. For the sake of the project and so I can keep playing swtor for a long time, ***** and fan should meet once and a while.
  3. You just brought back to life a suggestion that was actually attended on patch 1.2. In 1.1 you could only add someone when he was online, now you can add people offline to your Friends list too.
  4. I was about to ask if he was Republic... I didn't have any problem either, neither with my Sorcerer nor with my Warrior.
  5. Sounds nice to have, I would want that, but I'm guessing 1.3 will focus on Guilds and social playing.
  6. You are probably right, but still, I'm saying it should.
  7. I know the community asked to have the crystal colour unbind from alignment (and I'm not saying to fallback), but consider this... If appearance is completely random to characteristics, we loose identity and become bland and boring. There are plenty of features still keeping this identities, like the light armor robes or... well, something else. In my opinion (aka. IMO for those not used to none Internet vocabulary ), the colour of the crystal should express it's nature and characteristics like: Blue, normally used by the Guardians, it should buff Defense Green, normally used by the Sentinels, it should buff Force Power (or Tech Power for Techs) Red, normally used by the Sith, it should buff Critical Yellow and Orange should be special some way and harder to come by, buffing respectively Power and Endurance, or even Accuracy. Purple are rare and found with some powerful Jedi and Sith, I would say: buff Willpower. In my perfect little world we would get rid of the other bizarre colours that have nothing to do with Star Wars, but if to make people happy, their buff could be as bizarre as their colours and give 50-50, like 50% Shield and 50% Absorption, or 50% Critical and 50% Surge, and so on... Also, cut the credits cost to change crystals from weapons and sabers. It should be easy to people change it.
  8. I support any improvement to Nar Shaddaa in line with making it a cross faction hub. This seams to have been the intention of the developers, but it also seams to have been badly implemented. I'm wishing a high populated Nar Shaddaa hub in 1.3, with commerce and play interaction options you would not find in the fleets.
  9. I swear this is the first and last time I say this, but WoW do market better. I played WoW for a time, and I don't want to go near of it, specially because of the player base, who just want to rush through instances, compare numbers and make miserable any casual player (or any other player then the hardcore player... actually, no, they want the other hardcore players to feel miserable too). This huge disclaimer is only so I feel better saying that WoW does the Auction House far better then SWtOR does the Galactic Trade Market. The bidding system, with minimum bid and buy out, the huge pool of items... they all contribute to make the Auction House a mini-game on itself. I would recommend considering taking some of those lessons from WoW, import them, and make that think obsolete to everyone but the more aggressive hardcore players.
  10. Thumbs up! I'm not sure about multiple roles, since the specialisation cuts a bit the efficiency of running two roles with the same class, but definitively PVP and PVE need different gear and changing item by item every time is pointless. Also, I'm sure this should have been suggested a few times, but adding to the pile doesn't harm.
  11. About the story lines, this is by far the worst problem of the game. Since it's story driven and the stories are tide to expensive voice overs, they have an issue in the core product for which there's little that can be done about. I wonder if the long development time added to the fact that the Consular was the last class to be released, have something to do with his poor storyline. Hopefully they'll do some compensation for the Republic in the following releases, specially in the v2.
  12. Agree, but think a bit smaller... If I had a peaceful solution with a faction, the mobs in the open world could easily be "yellow" or "green" for me, while they continue "red" to all others. In Mos Ila in Tatooine they did it in a very small scale in the city. This kind of thing do not change anything in other people's game, but make the game of the player who actually accomplished that more interesting. This is the smallest repercussion I can think of, and it's relatively easy doing. Here's a few others: - Republic x Empire contested areas could change the mobs depending on the result of the last side quests done in that area. - The planets or areas could have two phases: before and after the quest chain be completed. - Vendors could have different dispositions depending on the your fame according choices in the quests. As long as you keep it simple, any of those could be done with no relevant negative impact.
  13. I thought this Light and Dark point would have comments. I saw many posts about it some time ago. I think the main point I'm trying to make here is that Light and Dark is over simplified. It could be far more interesting if it were a bit more complex and meet the SW background. I think my biggest claim, and main reason of posting is the Nar Shaddaa point, because it's so simple to implement, it goes in the same direction as I understand the intention of the developers go, and it would have a huge impact.
