  1. No. Lifeless feel to worlds Boring, repetative combat Boring, crafting system with hugely annoying companion mission completion announcements Dead economy due to useless GTN Static inflexible UI Social aspects of MMO feel tacked on at the last minute and poorly implemented too
  2. So many minor but annoying bugs and frustrating design decisions are like suffering death from a thousand cuts. My trooper is level 29, but I dont think I've learned a useful new ability in a long time, just new ranks of existing abilities. This makes the gameplay very repetative and boring. Haven't logged on for more than 30 minutes in almost a week...I think this game is dead to me, but I really wish it wasn't. I'm paid up thru March, so I will watch for improvements, but I 'm not holding my breath.
  3. The card only became available for purchase from retailers today.
  4. ..and then the game rubs salt in the wound by inflicting excrutiatingly annoying c2-n2 voice dialog announcing his success or failure. I want to rip the voice chip out of my c2-n2 droid.
  5. It's not only your companion. My companions do it too. It sucks, and it annoys me so much I haven't even logged into swtor all weekend.
  6. Your cpu is barely above minimum, and so is RAM. In practice, I think 4gb is too low. When I upgraded from 4gb to 8gb on win 7 64-bit system, my fps jumped from 35 to 55 average.
  7. I agree, impossible to navigate republic fleet without using map. Need more landmarks and variation.
  8. I think the game is good enough for the initial purchase, but I have buyer's remorse that I activated my account with a 60-day pre-paid card because most of the flavor has already been licked off this sucker.
  9. I normally run around zoomed in so that my toon's feet are just above the action bars, but almost every time my toon dismounts from a taxi ride, my camera auto zooms out near max distance...extremely annoying. Compounding this problem, when I use my mouse wheel to adjust zoom, there are smooth animations as the zoom changes, but it seems to only truly represent about 5 or 6 zoom levels resulting in never being able to precisely find the level of zoom that I want...this is EXTREMELY annoying. Why support smooth zoom transitions when the game instead could obviously allow fine grained zoom adjustments?
  10. I would like to do this too. I ran wow on monitor 2 so i could use other apps like web browser on monitor 1.
  11. No, you can't "always" change instance as there is a 30 min cooldown preventing you from changing instances.
  12. The massive is in the Map as you run for 30 min from quest giver to quest area. ;-)
