  1. this is probably asking too much....but is there a site that has the moddable armor with pics as well as the item's source? just so i know not only what the stuff looks like..but also what is crafted, what is a drop, and what is a quest reward. torhead is pretty well useless for this.
  2. was afraid of that. i havent had much luck finding decent moddable armor for my sentinel, so he was using light armor. apparently, that was a poor decision on my part. didnt realize centering was dependent on the amount of dmg, just thought it proc'd anytime i took dmg of any kind (regardless of amount). tnx for the info! ---and for the record, i wasnt trying to hijack the consular thread. i actually play two of those. so much love.
  3. so to twist things a bit....medium and heavy armor classes can all wear light armor (removing the class restrictions from this scenario). so is there a downside to taking a modd-able orange pair of light armor pants or skirt, putting mods in it and using it on a jedi knight? are the armor ratings different for light, medium, and heavy armors even if they have the same armoring mod in them?
  4. this comment only makes sense if either.... a) no materials are required to produce the final product which you sell b) the materials required to produce the final product you sell are free i believe what you may have meant to say is that "you only have to sell 2 crystals for 125k PROFIT per to make your money back".
  5. yeah, it's rather annoying. my ocd wishes they were at least consistent. each grade level has x number of crystals, y number of artifacts....instead of it varying with each grade level. same with biochem. but again....my ocd clearly wasn't consulted when this game was made. or else the progression and layout of all crew skills would have been much more streamlined, consistent, and actually made a bit more sense. but to address your question.....i've found that running different level of crew missions affects what i receive. for example, bountiful seems to return more of the 2nd item in each tier than the 1st. 2nd tier being nextor in this situation. just like plasteel compared to plastoid for scav. moderate and abundant return more 1st tier of each grade, while bountiful and rich return more 2nd tier for me personally. but i haven't tracked it.
  6. and also i agree w/ the OP and intent of this thread. moddable techblades would be great for the lizard. also bioware....you may want to update his codex. which is blatantly wrong in what kind of weapon proficiency he comes with.
  7. slightly off topic....but this is the closest thread i've come across talking about it. but why does elara (an aim based companion) come with a moddable blaster that has cunning in it? her codex says her main attribute is indeed aim. when i add aim in her other item slots her healing goes up. yet when i switched out her green cunning barrel for a purple aim barrel...her healing did not go up. odd?
  8. i've been looting them from the mission success screen w/o any problems. is your inventory full by any chance? (which would cause it to go to the "pending" list in the upper right corner of the screen)
  9. how long can mail sit in your characters inbox before it's deleted? i only ask b/c i've mailed a lot of stuff to alts for them to grow into and would rather that not go poof and disappear.
  10. exactly. kinda tough to decipher exactly what the OP is attempting to say (since someone obviously turned their keyboard upside down).....but if OP wants to have access to the other crew skills, do what the rest of the population does. roll an alt.
  11. i've gotta be missing something in regards to this patch though. it's a seven hour long patch/maintenance/update. however, looking at the patch notes it doesnt SEEM (to my non-IT or code understanding mind) to be anything worthy of seven to ten hours hours because they don't seem to be addressing anything major. no major fixes, updates to crew skills/RE, or anything "major" (major being a very relative term). so is it more extensive than the patch notes or are they actually putting in something not listed? i thought they were modifying the RE rates with 1.1.4, but i didnt see it listed. or maybe my google skills are failing and i totally missed a massive chunk of the patch notes.
  12. do you happen to recall what mission type it was from? (rich.....fabric, metal, or gift?) i'm guessing rich fabric, since it's a synthweaving pattern.

  14. who all (companions) use techblades? Republic side anyway. i thought Qyzen just used vibro swords and techstaffs.
  15. Yeah, that's where i go to first to find crafting schematics. They always seem to be way cheaper. But it's always a crapshoot on if anything is actually listed. And i'm Rep with a metric crap-ton of red artifice crystals that i have very little use for. So I sell them on there dirt cheap.
