  1. Don't know if you played WOW during 4.1/4.2 but WOW started to release phase questing, which I think was awesome and surprised SWTOR didn't take up. It goes a long great with Story telling, you see your progress in the world around you. ex. in Wow in doing the Hyjal dailies, you do your dailies, and as you do them you unlock new dailies which progresses the story, and you see the surroundings change, the new Tree grows and begins to bloom etc. SWTOR would have a huge advantage over other games if they did phased questing like this, because of the great story telling that BW does imagine what they could do with a MMO with phased questing.
  2. WHAT!? Revan is rescued in Maelstrom Prison.. He mentioned going off to the Foundry... and he apparently dies? WOW Glad we got informed.. Friggin Winnie The Pooh dropped the ball on that one... I've watched every cinematic in this game, there is story, when you enter the Op, but theres 0 leading up to it, telling us why we need to head there. Theres probably thousands of people who don't know why SOA needs to die, or What Karraga is doing. because they've never been in the Op to find out. The class Stories are great, but they lead to nothing, in my mind I was expecting them to all lead to the final end game plot.
  3. I agree that a lot of people haven't seen the End Game because of Low Pop Servers, and unable to find a group. But that also I think ties in with what I was saying about theres no story. There does not seem to be any real push for End Game, once you hit 50, you learn of Darth Malgus on Ilum hes never really mentioned anywhere else. You NEVER hear of SOA - unless you go into EV -, you don't know of Karraga unless you go into the Instance. Being level 50 and not knowing these enemies I think is also a reason people don't go do End Game, theres no pride to kill them. I think if people we're more informed of the rivals that are facing the Republic and Empire they might be more inclined to join in on PUGs. I know when we're looking for people to PUG EV or KP, we never get any hits we have to /t people just to get answered. I think the LFD they are designing will help with people finding groups for the 4mans, to bad they won't have it for the Ops thou.

Its not about how hard or easy the fights are, its about the story the build up. and in all honesty I think WOTLK had one of the most epic build ups to the final Boss, they released new videos of the LK wrecking havoc among Northrend, the rallying of Alliance and Horde at the Wrath Gate and the LK just laughing, made the story insane, and just made me want to burn him down even more. made me want to work harder play harder just to kill the bastard whos been attacking my people, my land. **Also throughout Northrend leveling up, your greeted by the LK in many different quests and watching him and his power grow also made him seem more of a ******. Its all about the story, of course if the fight is to easy and the story made them seem like a ****** and he wasn't, (I.E Darth Malgus, is a push over, but somehow is strong enough to conquer an entire city wide planet, but falls to a simple thermal grenade, The Emperor able to do what he did to Nathmas, and yet a simple jedi and his droid can knock em down.) everyone has their own reasons for playing the games they play, but personally I play for the Story Lines, the Love Triangles, I enjoy seeing how peoples live unfold as I progress through the world. and SWTOR I think did an amazing job, up until you hit 50, I lost all interest in the game, I still do End Game, but I don't know why I do it, who are these people, why do we want them dead? I know SOA is a imprisoned being because of how powerful and phsyco he is but, more development on his storyline would have been nice. same with Karagga. or even Keph. I mean really who is Keph, what is he, where did he come from, what does he want. So many questions.
  5. People seem to be shocked that people are Unsub'ing but it makes sense. Lets look at what made TOR so great in the beginning Indepth Story Line. BioWare ALWAYS makes games with Storylines that keep the player involved, interacted with the plot. I have played all 4 Republic classes to max level and enjoyed every single one of them. But once your done leveling, where does the story go? it stops, there is nothing to keep people playing. Now lets look at Pre-Release, what did they use for PR (and still use as PR) Darth Malgus, attacking Coruscant, this iconic character was/is the symbol of Star Wars: The Old Republic. As with World Of Warcraft, during Vanilla Ragnaros/Onyxia were the Iconic Evils in the world, they had a story line, they were the common goal for End Game progression. TBC = Illidan Wrath = Lich King Cata = Deathwing Pan = Butterlies the point is each expansion had its own end game boss, its own storylines as to why this character needs to go down. SWTOR was published with Darth Malgus being the evil iconic character. We have SOA/Karraga/Kephess as Final Bosses, but theres no real story line as to why we're killing them, they just seemed to appear one day, and we want them dead. Theres no Build Up. This game is missing the Hook to grab people to make us want to fight for the Republic or the Empire to protect it from what ever is attempting to harm it. But we don't know what it is. The class Story Lines I would have thought would have sometime interwined together to create the epic end game story line that we were all looking for. My biggest let down is the Jedi Knight Story Line. If you've ever read the book Revan, you'll understand why its a let down. I will not spoil it for everyone but lets just say its not the Epic Ending it should have had for again an insanely iconic Character which has a huge story behind him. TL;DR People are leaving because theres no Hook, Theres no sense of ownership, no Sense of pride when you hit End Game, theres nothing to make us feel ,we need to defend/protect from the evil, we don't know what it is, they just show up and we're told to kill them. For BioWare to make such epic Storylines, they seemed to have left out the biggest part of an MMO the End Game Story, the part that will keep people playing long after they finish leveling.
  6. Open the PTS for Character Copy, We plan to Copy our Guild over there to test these patches because apparently they are not being tested.. In last month, EVERY patch released has caused an issue with the game that the Patch never even touched. Matrix Cubes? the patch notes say nothing about Matrix Cubes being touched.

  8. All boss' would have the same modifiers no? other wise it would make Min/maxing insanely difficult, and without us knowing which Modifiers each boss has makes it even more difficult. So far I've been able to determine that op boss' have an addition 10% to Defence, so you'd need about 110% Acc in order to "never miss" But for DR is the 35% standard for Boss' or just the Op Dummy?
  9. so I was ready the Dev Tracker, and I noticed a Dev said; Which can be seen here So my question is, Does this mean ALL operation boss' as well have a 35% DR to Kinetic and Energy?
  10. Oh the official forums how I love your trolls... Glad to see to a lot of people do think a Ready Check would be nice, like I said before its very hard to to try and coordinate 16 people some times, and a ready check that flashes there screen helps to get peoples attentions. And it really isn't that hard to code because theres nothing really to it, its a Yes/No Box with a display on the Op Window, even if they make it so everyone can see the status check, its less coding.
  11. Couldn't agree more. I run a 16man HM guild, and trying to find out if people are ready is sometimes a huge pain, asking in /ops doesn't work, half the people in the Op never read it anyways because we're in Mumble. Ask in Mumble and you can people talking over people and its hard to know who said what if someone didn't say something. Having a popup on everyones screen and the click Ready / Not Ready and the Leaders can see it in the Op Window is the fastest and most productive way. Doing Spacebar is good but again its hard to get everyone to listen and not talk over other people because we're waiting people do their idle chit chat and enjoy the game while we wait for Bios/Drinks/Repairs ETC
  12. During the guild summit someone asked if BW was going to implement a Ready Check system.. The entire panel looked at eachother and asked "We don't have a ready check?" They made it seem like they were going to jump on this idea... a Ready Check would be very very nice addition to SWTOR.

  14. Loot table in this FP needs to be looked at... The first Mini Boss drops Corellia Comms LOL. and the other ones drop Tioneese Comms... The FP is geared for people with Columi or better. you can do it with less but its much much harder. The hardest Boss being the LR-5 (which I think got Ninja Nerf'd) Each Boss is designed ideally for a Range Heavy DPS Group. Best to not have Melee. can be done with Melee but makes it harder. The gear progression for this FP doesn't seem to make any sense. you need Columi to do it, why drop the gear set comms below it?
  15. Did Lost Island get a ninja Nerf? We've been doing it everyday since release, and the last 2 times, the Droid Boss no longer does his Lightning Balls.. This a Bug or did he get Ninja Nerf'd?
  16. During the new event, is it an exploit or working as intended, to get the virus, when it hits the 2nd phase, duel the person win it, and have that person go kill himself on a mob to blow up? It seems like it might be as its a faster way than normal to obtain the DNAs.
  17. In the a future Patch, can you make it so we can bind a key to turn Combat Logs, On/Off, having to go through the Pref everytime to turn it off and on, is a bit of a pain. I don't need 50 logs when I'm just kill trash in a Op, only for Bosses.

  19. There is nothing to fix, its called Random Loot Drops for a reason. If they made it so each FP dropped gear useable to whom ever is in it everytime,t here'd be no reason to do FPs multiple times. Its Random to keep people playing, to keep people doing the FPs. Sure they get old after doing it 10 times and not getting the loot, but your still playing, your not bored of it (otherwise you wouldn't be here ************ about it, you'd be elsewhere) People need to stop complaining, RNG IS RNG Get Used to it buttercup
  20. I agree'd 100% Bioware needs to fix there customer service, Thought I'd share it with everyone, and hopefully Bioware sees it and says OH **** LOOK. Also for everyone who might not know. for every Ticket you create, your able to give your feedback at this site https://www.research.net/s/TOREN?c=4239851 just change the ticket number at the end with your ticket number. After enough negitive Feedback hopefully something gets fixed.
  21. Guild Log, so we can see gquits, Ginvites, and maybe even Loot Distribution, who got what and when.
  22. Repair bots only Summonable by an Officer or GM, I think would be a huge asset to any End Game Guild. Some Ops are in a position where the closet Repair guy is on the other side of the ship, up an elevator, a lot of wasted time just to spend 70-120k Creds on a repair.
