  1. Well I for one think they should either take the servers down NOW to fix it, or allow people to use this feature. If biofail cant test the game properly, why should users have to suffer. The only way I will accept the current stance is if bioware agree to credit at least 1 million credits to every *Character* that does NOT use this FEATURE. Note my use of the word Feature, and not Exploit. Bioware's incompetence does not equal an exploit. An exploit is something that has to be worked out, not something clearly advertised on a vendor (And the god damn login screen) because someone forgot to update the sell price as well as the buy price.
  2. Personally I have wasted 4 million credits retraining skills across 15 characters. Very pissed off that there will be no compensation whatsoever.
  3. Training of abilities was free during 12x xp, so making it free for a few months to cover their **** UP sounds pretty fair to me. Also you need to work out how to refund the credits to everyone who was forced to empty their bank to retrain, be that free credits, 1000+ free cartel coins, or several free cartel packs. If its truly intended, than bioware/ea, you can go **** selves if you think I am continuing to pay for this crap treatment.
  4. They probably got told about hundreds of issues in the beta, and ignored every single one of them and released it as it was anyway. At least thats my personal experience of actually taking part in one of biofails 'beta' tests.
  5. Hopefully they will fix some of the other issues such as being unable to set legacy titles.
  6. Why not just log a character in on the live servers and see the bugs for yourself. Try to join a group or queue for gsf/wz/gf. Try to quick travel to fleet pass. If you manage to get a wz pop, try exiting the warzone afterwards. These bugs seem to be affecting everyone on red eclipse pretty equally.
  7. THEYRE NOT BUGS... They are undocumented features.
  8. Logged into Red Eclipse at 10am this morning and joined solo ranked queue. Its now 12pm, and we have an ops group with 7 players in it, all of whom are in the solo queue. Standing around on the fleet, waiting, and being unable to even do normal warzones while waiting, is not my idea of fun. Group concensus now is give up with ranked, and go play normal instead. Over the weekend, there are pops, but during the day, nothing seems to happen because there are not enough players active on the server. Why oh Why wont Bioware add Cross Server queues is just beyond me. For one the rankings are counted among all servers. So someone could be the second best player in the world, but never have gotten to fight against the best and 3rd best due to being on the wrong server. To me that makes the global rankings utterly meaningless. And as for anything about being less social, competitive or whatever which have been cited as reason for not adding cross server.... actually getting to play something is far higher up my list of priorities than caring about who I am playing against. Hell I dont even care if the enemy team speaks the same language as me, or if they are on a pve, pvp or rp server I JUST WANT TO PLAY A DAMN ARENA!
  9. Having issues with unleashed post 2.7 I have 32gb ram, and have everything set to copy to the ram drive. Unleashed creates me a 22.5Gb ram drive. Its like unleashed has not updated the size of some files, as after loading the entire game onto a ram drive there is only 972mb free, so swtor wont run due to not having enough free space for diskcachearena Do i need to reboot for it to recalculate the file sizes or something? Any suggestions? Edit: as a workaround.. Open unleashed, once you have the launcher open, close it. Now open the imdisk control panel, note the size of the ram disk created,. Now delete it, and manually add a new ramdisk using the same letter, and add 1gb to the size. Format as ntfs, and restart unleashed.
  10. +1 Doesnt matter what ideas you have for another warzone. We need Cross server queues, as well as seperate 4v4 and 8v8 queues before it will make the blindest bit of difference. Have you ever tried pvping in SWTOR at 4am?
  11. More like "threaten the specific dev/scapegoat who was used to tell us about all these wonderful features that they failed to even attempt to deliver on". As far as I'm concerned, I cant trust anything that man ever said, as the vast majority of it never happened. And I don't like people who lie to me, in order to con me into continuing to pay for a service in the belief that XYZ is being worked on and will be coming soon, whether they happen to be a dev or otherwise. Why do you think there was no repeat of the guild summit this year? I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in my feelings, and bioware know it lol.
  12. Cross character shared storage space for all those legacy items, and crafting materials would be nice while they're at it!
  13. They threw that out of the window when giving us lightsabers without a power cord and belt mounted power pack! Sources: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lightsaber The timeline SWTOR is set in, the small handheld units we use had not even been invented yet!
  14. So just leave "Random" as default, and top of the list, and perhaps give a bonus for doing a totally random warzone. This is exactly how it works in Wow and Rift, the only other MMO's I have played which take pvp seriously. Rift even goes a few steps further, and adds weekly player and guild quests to do a certain map X times per week, and changes which map every time it resets. Underlying problem is not the lack of people wantign to do a certain warzone, but the lack of cross server matching, which means not enough people ON A SINGLE SERVER wanting to do the same thing. Bioware was told from day 1 that they needed cross server PVP, and failed to listen. They were told from day 1 that we wanted to choose WHAT warzone we queued for. GABE TOLD US AT THE GUILD SUMMIT: "The inability to queue for specific Warzones is a known issue" AND "The idea is to reduce people on faction-imbalanced servers from playing Huttball constantly" "Cross server queuiing for Warzones is in the future" "Choosing a specific Warzone is in the future" Source: http://torwars.com/guild-summit-full-audio-and-details-from-the-pvp-panel/ If I ever get to meet the lying **** I will gladly wipe that smug *********** grin off his face with some real life PVP.
  15. 03:54. Leaving arena queue. Not that standing around on the fleet for over 2 hours is boring or anything, but the game prevents me doing most other end level content while in the queue. Have completed every daily quest already, and have completed virtually all single player content on this character prior to cancelling my subscription 3 months ago. Leaving to go help someone complete a flashpoint. I dont understand why I cant remain queued while doing that, The group would be happy to wait 5 minutes for me if and when I did ever get a pop.
  16. Its not kids being targetted, its the grown up kids with learning difficulties and the ability to get credit cards (the first time anyways...). Just rephrase the legalese to "exploitation of vulnerable adults", and I wonder if you would in fact have a viable case.
  17. I Had this problem after coming back to the game prior to 2.4's release. I phone bioware support, and after 45 minutes of refusing to take no for an answer, was awarded a 3 day subscription for my troubles. At the time, my already used warzone pass had 3 full days remaining on it. This was not actually true, although more than likely a bug. I did 5 ranked warzones as a preferred status player the night before 2.4's release. When we queued, it did warn the group leader that I was unable to be queued for this, however DID queue us, and we got some good games in. It also allowed me to click the Queue Team Ranked button in the warzone interface. Makes me wonder if anyone at bioware actually TESTED the restriction using a f2p or preferred account, as it clearly read like I should not have been able to, but worked anyway. Reminds me of when the "5 weekly participations" actually meant "5 daily participations" Your not missing much anyway imho, I have only managed to play 31 approx 5 minute arena matches in the past 2 days. I have now been queued for nearly 2 hours, still waiting for a match.
  18. Well now we have arenas, we can really see the pain caused by not having cross server queues. Bioware even gave me a 3 day sub due to their incompetence, and so I've had a few fun days playing ranked arenas. But the system as it is will not make me resub until such time as they add cross server queues. Two other glaring omissions are the lack of ability to queue for ranked and normals at the same time. IMHO, the queues should be unranked warzones, solo arenas and team arenas. Unranked arenas needn't even exist. the lack of cartel market item to unlock the ability for f2p and preferred players to participate in ranked arenas. (perhaps solo only) The latter might actually keep me in the game, if only as a free player, but I'm not going to waste my time queuing for normals, especially when I have 2 totally different builds for warzones and arenas, and cannot choose what I am queuing for, nor respec at the beginning depending on what match type I get. PVP is still non existent outside peak hours on my server (Red eclipse), even with only 4 players per team. Even at 11pm, I had to wait 40 minutes for a solo ranked arena, which gave me a whole 8 minutes of play time. This is totally unacceptable and I would be extremely disappointed if I was actually paying for this (lack of) service. I queued for solo ranked at 01:40, before i started to write this post, I'll add my final forum reply when I finally get a game, or when I decide to go to bed, whichever comes first. (Update 02:17 while proof reading this post, the game logged me out for inactivity. Re-connected, Re-queued.) I appreciate the concerns people have about wanting to only fight players on their server, so perhaps the matchmaking system should use cross server only as a last resort, for when the population of a server queued does not allow for a match. At least this would allow the night owls like me to actually play, instead of just sitting in the queue from 2am - 7am with NOTHING happening, like last night. Anyone queuing for ranked arenas is clearly interested in PVP, so should enjoy playing against teams on any type of server. And as there is no need to communicate with the enemy, why would it matter if your enemy spoke a different language? Ranked Warzone Arenas have great potential, but until the queue times are greatly reduced, by either a LOT more players doing them, or the pool of available players being expanded, and the ability for free players to unlock the ability to participate in them, I really cannot see what all the pre 2.4 hype was about. Bioware, you tried to hype up the PVP community with your "amazing pvp patch that we will all love", but instead let us down dramatically by not only including more PVE content in the patch than PVP content (A single new feature, vs a new daily area and 2 new operations), and even REMOVED a key PVP feature for no good reason in the process. Will you be refunding the transfer fees paid by all the players, and in some cases entire guilds, who paid to move to other servers specifically to compete in the ranked warzones which no longer exist? I would love to know how your hardcore PVE fans would react if you told them you were deleting Nightmare mode ops because only 1% of the playerbase did them, and replaced them with a bunch of new flashpoints. I doubt it would be a good reponse, so I fail to understand how you thought this would be taken well by the hardcore PVP fans. /RANT I hope you can get these things sorted out, as I would definitely resubscribe the day you announce cross server PVP, so be sure to notify me by email if and when this ever happens.

  20. If any sage/sorc in any DPS spec ever tries to cast that 3 sec heal, whether against a melee or not, they clearly need to L2P!
  21. /unsub. Get this back on the priority list, preferably at the damn top, or pvp in this game is dead to me. You have ~2 months before 2.4 is due to release, so plenty of time to get it done. Please note that this is in addition to adding multiple new warzones, new huttball maps, new game modes, leader boards, arenas and the start of season 1. If you start season 1 without cross server queues, you will have failed even more epicly than you did with Ilum! I just started playing Rift as it is now completely f2p. Average WZ queue in rift: 30 seconds. Average WZ queue in swtor: ~5 minutes. Guess which game has the lower number of players, but cross server queues.
  22. *Bump* It appears Bioware have employed a tester, so perhaps we can expect this to be included in the next raft of fixed achievements?
  23. So they created an achievement for killing a world boss that doesnt even exist. I Guess that answers the question of whether they actually TEST anything before it gets released. Good job Biofail.
  24. Hi guys, have been running round ilum for the past few days completing achievements. There are 2 however uder the player vs player heading which involve "Destroyed 100 Imp/Rep turrets in the Ilum warzone". Now is this a hint that a new warzone is coming soon, or are these just bugged, as having killed several turrets at every single imp base, done the turrets for the daily quests, etc, i am still stuck on 0/100. Does anyone know which turrets actually count towards this achievement?
