The only thing broken about this situation are the brains of your team, all the roots can be dispelled, and the dispels are on 5 sec cds, way shorter than the cds of the various roots, if you sit in a slow for longer than a couple of sec it is entirely your teams fault. I humbly suggest keybinding and using the various dispels.
  2. I recommend to spend 11 points into the medic tree to get "kolto probes" then spec into concealment. This way you will be able to do decent healing and decent damage while leveling. Most of the heroic areas can be solo`d if you do this which is really a fun thing to do. At lvl 40 respec and go full concealment with acid blade and enjoy killing everything with 3 hits until lvl 50.

The original version of this one was the reward when you killed the real red blade on hutta, if you want the combat shotgun look your best bet is "custom built blaster rifle" made by armstechs check the gtn for it. There are some other shotguns in the game as well, but the armstech one is the easiest to get.

Here is the pro way of doing it: Buy BM SNIPER RIFLE, rip out enhancement and mod, BUY WH SNIPER RIFLE; BUY CUSTOM MADE BLASTER RIFLE (augmented) on GTN, rip out barrel, mod, enhancement crystal from the wh sniper rifle and put it into the orange blaster rifle, put the bm mod and enhancement into an orange armor piece, equip the other slots with recruit gear. Use cunning augments. Way better stats this way, enforcer blaster rifle has bad stats on it do not buy it.
  6. @ original poster: I kind of have a good day so I will tell you what you are doing wrong against the setup you consider so overpowered. 1st if you play kinetic/darkness stop wanking in dps gear, get tank gear get 27.5k hp and do your job. 2nd do not play their game, break the zerg, this means no cluster**** in one big group split them, go for multiple objectives (you do not have to kill their whole team to win if you do it right). 3rd bring 3 healers or 2 healers and a healer hybrid (ideal is 1 operative 1 bh 1 sorc). 4th see that big object over there, recruit, that is a pillar now go and hump it like your live depends on it cause it indeed does. (edit) spam wither and force slow.
  7. 1st get the 2 piece set bonus from field tech (sniper) gear, it gives you an additional pulse on orbital strike which allows you to prevent a node from being capped for 12 sec with aoe. Then get the gear with the most desirable stats, ignore which set you are "supposed" to wear go for the stats.
  8. It`s called stealth, you`ll see us only once and only for a split second and after that you will not be able to tell anyone about it because we will make you instantly cancel your sub.
  9. Mind that for other ACs power is better since they lack the boost from 3/3 imperial education.

  12. Awesome, let`s introduce some realism, let`s start with friendly fire. If you throw a grenade into a group of people everyone gets hit friend and foe alike, let`s also introduce a dodge modifier that makes moving targets harder to hit from range, let player avatars serve as LoS obstacles and when you swing your lightsaber in a crowd you get a chance to hit your buddy by accident if he stands to close...

    I place my cash on the original poster playing a marauder/sentinel. And: hey buddy, insulting the guys that keep you alive is not a clever move. And: haha outplayed by one button and a pillar... it says a lot about you.
  15. I give my vote to the guy I consider most valuable and who I like to have on my team the most, I do not care about your stats on sore-board they mean nothing. So my votes go to the usual suspects, the people I know to be useful, the only exception I make from this is when I see someone doing something really exceptional.
  16. Any useful ability on any ac that does not use a lightsaber is overpowered, there there do not cry baby surely they will nerf operatives again to fix this problem of yours...

  19. Eviscerate does not work on players, the same goes for headshot. Both also do not work on elite npcs.

  21. To be honest I agree with this (as much as a charge or grapple would increase the fun level for me and the despair level of everyone else which would please me like hell). None the less I see certain disadvantages that are innate in this class and certain unbalanced aspects in the game that could be fixed by another utility skill for operatives. Basically we are the only AC without any form of easy repositioning skill of any kind, so any of those would do it does not have to be a gap closer like charge friendly pull would be enough or even a "sprint" like predation or even cover pulse would go a very long way, it would not matter if it has a very long cd. It really is not that needed but it would help new operatives a lot, positioning is very unforgiving when playing this class and is probably what keeps the most players away from it. Generally I`d rather advocate other changes though in regards to cds on other classes, 12 sec charge is way to low it should be 24 sec. 45sec force camo is way to short it should be 1min30sec, wither needs a cd a basically spamable aoe slow should not be in the game etc.

My stats self buffed at the moment look like this (not fully optimized, mind you): Cun: 2037 Hp: 18564 Exp: 1215 Tech Bonusdmg: 866 Bonus heal: 625 Ranged Bonusdmg: 594 Tech crit: 28.6% Ranged crit: 29.7% Surge multiplier: 77.8% Power:696 This does not include the warr and bh class buffs it does include the inquisitor class buff. The reason why I started prioritizing cunning on the mods as well is the general stat distribution, those mods have more endurance and from my experience at roughly 20k hp buffed a benchmark of survivability is reached that makes everything a lot easier. Those benchmarks are what really matters in my opinion beyond simply maxing certain key numbers on damage, once you reached a gear level that makes you a threat damage wise any gain in survivability will out-weight any further damage gains in the long run and from a group perspective. (This btw is why I consider the nerf to healing taken in 1.3 the single most severe nerf in the long history of operative nerfs.) What I aim for is a a furher reduction on accuracy for a roughly 1.5% increase on the crit multiplier, and a slight increase on exp (I still use some BH mods). Also in my opinion any reduction on crit for a again in surge is worthwhile as long as you stay above approx. 27.5% crit buffed. Due to the relic and adrenal changes in 1.3 damage spikes will be down to outright luck and getting crit streaks, increasing the probability of those by approx.2% will pale in comparison to a 2% surge increase when such a lucky streak happens. (Crit happens or not in pvp due to the short uptimes, a bit more or less crit is less dangerous that the increase on the random damage spikes).

  24. You bring 2 tank sins and 3 healers to keep them busy when they group up (and when I say tank I mean it) while the rest of your team takes the other objectives, if they split up they are screwed.
  25. As the original poster has stated it is about organized team play, so tell your operative or merc healer to keybind the tech dispel. Other classes have the same problem with the force slow effects used by tank assassins, they need the sorc dispel just as much as you need the tech healer dispel. SO IT IS INDEED ABOUT TEAMWORK. .
