  1. How does this game play great exactly? Not trying to troll, but almost everything it does is riddled with bugs / bad engine optimizations.
  2. Yeah, it has many benefits.. but I feel SWTOR uses it way too much.
  3. Even I can agree that WoW launch was a disaster.
  4. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't even know how to turn on a computer then.
  5. It will LAST a while, but it will be clinging to life the whole way through. I think it'll start clinging around the 2nd or 3rd month.
  6. This game is ruined for MANY reasons, but yes.. a big part of it is due to faction imbalance.
  7. I used to play on a very heavy server, but 50 ques still took forever.
  8. How are you so sure that this game will have millions of people in 5 years? It lacks very basic features, and people are very quick to judge. I think it's too late for SWTOR.
  9. There's not many good sides of the game right now, FACT.
  10. I see what you mean, but even without raiding there is MUCH more to do in WoW, more battlegrounds , a competitive form of pvp, achievements (this is a huge one, because it makes you do a ton of older content), WAY more dailies, etc etc. Basically, if SWTOR has 'x' at its end game, WoW has 10 times 'x'.
  11. How is WoW more linear? SWTOR is MUCH more linear, you only have one place to level at in any given time. WoW has multiple places.
  12. You're playing this game more because you haven't reached end game yet. The same can be said for any MMO. WoW has the most end game content out of any MMO right now. You can't deny that.
  13. Your comparisons in your first sentence are invalid, I am talking about general features which ALL mmos should have, not franchise specific things. Btw, WoW quests are almost exactly the same as SWTOR quests (well, they used to be back in BC.. they have improved it atleast somewhat with wrath / cata).
  14. How does it have to be taken into account? People will ALWAYS look at two products in present time, they don't care what has been out longer and what hasn't, what they want to buy is the better product RIGHT NOW. Sorry, but you lose regardless. WoW has more features, SWTOR doesn't. This is why SWTOR will never beat WoW.
  15. 10 million people still play WoW. SWTOR has at MAXIMUM 2 million people. Not everyone will try this game, not even close. Don't forget to factor in how many people are quitting (I have a feeling it is a TON of people).
  16. Again, what does this change exactly? SWTOR is still missing a TON of key features, while WoW has them all. Checkmate.
  17. I see what you mean. Basically you're saying there's no way an MMO can compare to WoW. In which case, I agree
  18. Again, that's not how it works. The code will not be entirely different at all. Hell, look at what happened when WAR came out. A few weeks later, WoW added in some of it's battleground que features. Don't even call that a coincidence, this type of things have happened time and time again. Your expecting this game NOT to have everything in it when you really dont know how little work goes into re-using and pasting code. Hell, lets say your right. And that in no way could SWTOR have all these features. So what? WoW still wins in the end, regardless of WHY SWTOR didn't have these features.
  19. Again, it is not 12 years worth of features anymore. They've already been 'invented', it would never take them 12 years to add them in again. That's just not how it works.
  20. And that is why they all fail in comparison to WoW. They need to change how they are produced.
