We arent telling anyone how to run/operate their guild. With that said it seems more guilds agree with keeping it simple.

Again, things were discussed among multiple guilds not my own. Like I said I dont even play this game so any input is considered. The feelings I have about A teams and B teams is shared among others not just myself. My opinions are simply that. I'm not telling you how to run your guild. I am stating my opinion on the matter. Furthermore who are you? I dont see a guild tag in your signature and I dont know what guild you are a part of. If you are part of one the guilds "who dont care" or arent currently giving numbers why does it matter to you anyway? This doc is no longer my personal toy. I have given access to anyone from a guild on the list who has requested it. I have also given them permissions to change anything they want. They are the ones playing the game they should make it fit to them. I dont considered myself some kind of "doc god" all criteria is subject to change.

I think teams that are familiar with each other have posted that they beat "insert guild's" alts a few times. The more teams play the more teams will realize who is who. There are some new teams on the server and not everyone is aware of who is an alt and who isnt.

I want to specifically touch on #8, though you made some other good points. We established earlier in this thread that this document in no way is the end all be all to a ranking system. If in a perfect world we had every rank team participating in it and giving us data then and only then could we even begin to use it to rank teams. I would like to see it grow, but as some people have pointed out ,their guilds simply dont care. With every guild not participating I dont think we can use this doc and only this doc to create a ranking system.However it could be used as one of a few factors that could go into it.

I would need a list of "A team" then I would have to look at each screen shot to validate that all 8 of those members were present for that game. Then comes the problem with someone saying "alright well if we are only counting A team vs A team lets not count D/Cs either." I mean if we only counted when all 8 members of the A team were present for the entire match then we should only count when all 8 of those members are present for the entire match? Then what?

If you find good players through your matches, players with good numbers and good situational awareness add them to your friend list. This is a MMO after all. Make some friends and queue with them it will make mid level pvp much more enjoyable.

Like it's been pointed out this was intended to be very simplistic. I initially made the doc for my own amusement and then it caught on. We established some guidelines early on and not until losses started coming from other guilds did any other guild take part in those discussions. It's like coming in the middle of something and wanting to change the rules when we already established them. We have also stated that the document will be reset every two weeks. If guilds want to participate and want to give numbers, I'm sure together as a community we can come together and establish new guidelines or revisit old ones. That would also require effort from other teams. I have a lot of free time since I work from home, but I dont have all the time in the world to sift through everything to determine what wins should count and which shouldnt.

Your point about LOL is irrelevant because they have a ladder and season system in place. So the game can distinguish that for them. I will also reiterate no one is forcing any of you to take part in this. If you dont like it, you have free will not to participate.

I dont even play this game. I haven't played this game since some time in June. So I am not fishing for anything.

If you read up we are counting guild tags. B team excuse can kick rocks. If you dont want them representing your guild. Make an alt guild like Hostile Takeover is doing or kick them from your guild. These arent social guilds, these are PVP GUILDS. We are assessing the best PVP GUILD on the server, not the best 8 man team. This means all players wearing your tag in ranked matches.

I'm sorry but as a person who has designed computer software and a software engineer. You will almost never get a concrete answer from a developer that would be like signing your own death certificate. I think we had a whole class on giving people vague answers in college. If they give concrete answers and miss benchmarks they are damned.

If you dont want to be on the list just yet that is fine by me one less team to track, plus the tracker will be reset every 2 week so if you want to be put on the next once you guys have more games under your belt that is fine. I put you guys on there because someone was asking why you werent and another team had posted results against you.
