  1. F2p has been leaked for November, I think they will release Mekeb right after (maybe on December) just to give people a reason to keep paying the game; but really if this silence it's just a tactic to avoid some sort of conservative opposition to SGR, releasing it on Xmas doesn't looks like a great idea to me
  2. 1.5 on PTS now and there's no SGR content: just so you know.
  3. Well maybe in the future they'll introduce a droid race and you can romance robots aswell. ;p Anyway, Uluain can you please repost few bioware contacts you already pestered so we can focus on them too? I would love to send them a letter
  4. There are a lot of companions that accept courting gifts even from the same gender player character: i guess it could be an hint on what companions will be (or supposed to be) on the sgra options when it will come.
  5. I remember you: nice to see you back As you can see we're almost at the starting point
  6. It's a good point, but i don't think its apply to SWTOR situation: From Ashes was material stripped from the original game to put it in ad-hoc DLC day one (and i will stop here to not derail the topic), and we don't have any clues about SGR companions ready to go and put in a box to wait the next expansion as SGR options (or at least, I don't know anything about that); also i think it will be a lot more difficult and time consuming to create a character ex-novo, with a new voice actor, a new personality and story, integrate he/she inside the game (with, for example, affection gains from convos), and etc than making viable the existing ones. I'm not saying i wouldn't like the idea of entirely new companions available (sgr or not sgr options), but i think that's a very remote possibility. Sadly. :S
  7. I'll bet that they're not going to add more companions: as you said, too much efforts just to make happy what (I think, and I repeat, I think) they consider a bunch of whiners. We'll be lucky to get Sgr options at all IMO.
  8. There's also in the rep Narshadda bonus series a twi'lek female surely in love with her astromech droid you'll have to recover
  9. They already said that there will be, we're only discussing how and when; I doubt BW will go back on his word after what recently happened with Mass Effect: surely they don't want to lose ALL the fan base remained
  10. I'll tell you who I think would be suitable as SGR option, even if I don't necessary like the possibilities, based on my interpretation of the characters attitude, etc. And of course, watch out for indirect spoilers SITH WARRIOR - Vette: despise what some ppl say about her hostile idea about that (possibly transpired in the 3 way conversation if you romance both her and Jaesa), the Twi'lek culture doesn't have gender distinctions when engaging somebody in marriage; the society on Ryloth is fundamentally matriarchal, so same gender female couples are absolutely commons (as well as male ones). - Jaesa: little transpire of her personal feeling on the LS side of the story about this matter, except on the very last dialoge, and she have no romance options on that; so i guess this will be an obvious companion available for SGR, open to a lot of "content expansion" by story writers. - Malavai Quinn: too completely-insane in love of the Sith Warrior (despise the "incident"), despise a lot ppl say he's a boots licker (and i don't think so, even if i don't like him in the whole); he's just a fanatical imperial lovers, and also admires and attracted by the Sith power-authority. - Pierce: same situation of Jaesa, but i don't see him as a viable SGR material; i don't know why, just an hunch tough SITH INQUISITOR: - Ashara: well, she has not a strong personality and she's also the only female on board.. so i guess that she will do, one way or another; - Talos Drellik: he's a scholar and a curious one, i guess that the he's totally BI just for the "fun" of exploring it XD also, Andronikos feels like an absolutely straight, some conversation you have with him let you understand that he really doesn't like the idea of two males together. Unless you're gonna give Khem Val option... XD IMPERIAL AGENT: - Kaliyo: i know, some ppl really don't like her (and neither do i under some points), but she's absolutely BI; exploring her storyline you'll get without any doubts that she had at least one important engagement with another female; also in the very early stage of the game, when you meet her on Hutta, i can say that she's also flirting with you no matter the gender. - Temple: she can be adapted to SGR for the same reasons of Quinn, but also i don't see she fit in the role; too "tradionalistic" minded on a lot of things, and I see her as the "happy ending damsel", so not quite good for non-canonic views - Vector: sure possible, i can only imagine that his new existence status as a joiner (so an hive mind with all that thoughts sharing) it's only fair that he's open to same gender romance BOUNTY HUNTER - Mako: uhm, i'm a bit conflictuated about her; as for Ashara, i don't think she has a strong personality, maybe her young age can ignite the fire for "experimenting" new things - Torian: well, as said before there is at least one precedent in SW universe about two mandalorian males married together...so why not? Gault: that would be VERY interesting in my opinion, because the more i go ahead with his story line, the more i like him; i think he's a controversy and somewhat tortured character, it's absolutely open to expansion of the story itself on SGR options. JEDI KNIGHT: - Kyra: for both the fact that she's the only female of the crew plus her very attitude, i think she will be THE sgra option of the year - Doc: not so sure about him, i haven't go so far in conversation to know enough - Scourge: what i've get from this character on his personality traits is "i do what i want, ever. period." So, that old how he is, why the heck not... JEDI CONSULAR I haven't played the class yet, so i don't have any feedback about SMUGGLER - Risha: sure, lust is lust, no matter where you get it... - Akaavi Spar: Torian style thinking, why not - Corso: i personally don't like him, to obvious under many aspect, but he's also the only viable male character of the class for an sgr... unless you want to work on Guss Tuno or Bowaadar BW! *_* TROOPER - Aric Jorgan: as said before for other characters, unlucky, he's the only possible option for a male same gender content; Yuun and Tanno are too alien (both phisically and mentally) to be an option IMO - Elara Dorne: hell yeah, the uptight ex-imperial all business and regulations with a crush for her squad commander also female... it's something to think about Well, thanks for reading! And as a side note: i don't like all the possible options i've quoted, i've put them only based with current companions; i really hope they'll introduce new companions with the story expansions to avoid some personality conflict i've said before just to give us a same gender option
  11. Awesome work, thank you! Keep fighting the good fight
  12. I think (hope) they're going to release Togruta, and I'm good with that because I love that race
  13. Would be so easy to dissipate all those speculations with just a simple announcement...
  14. Look at the last armor set: they've just changed the colours without bothering too much, so yeah I fear that's will be the trend: lesser budget to invest wit f2p
  15. In this period the word that is drawing more attention seems to be "unbalanced", I figured that we should use it too So, Bioware, listen pleeeeease! The [Flirt] options and the romance as well are unbalanced! Fix them pleeeeease! If you want i can also cry a bit on various forum sub categories as well, just to make sure my plea is listen. ////// Aside from jokes, I find that sort of behavior even more frustrating than the "ignore" one: they're almost fixing (or trying to fix) everything the people are crying for, from pvp to pve stuffs, patch after patch... and yet we do not have any announcement about story/companions arcs progression or romance options <.<
  16. Absolutely agree, would be nice to know more how this feature would be implemented
  17. I don't know really, because my list can really be too long about it and besides, Devs say they're not simply changing dialogues to match SGR options, they want to "write" some more. So i'm very curious to know what they come up to
  18. You need more finesse in trolling. Anyway take it as an example and discuss your theory elsewhere, it's OT.
  19. So i can guess they're "trying" to tell us that SGRA will come with Makeb... ... right, i can live with that. But frankly, i don't see the reason why somebody can't tell: "Hey, it's coming with Makeb, stay tuned!". It would be much more easier for them and for us waiting.
  20. Well, i'm in a PVE server btw and anyway if you trashtalk or insult them and you get reported (happened to one of my guildmates and other ppl that i know), you'll get banned for at least 1 day (the first time, i don't know the second or third, they only "encourage" you via mail to do not do it again). So i don't think it's worth the effort of insulting them, all considered. Also, it's all about how you tell things to people: i prefer the "Sniper, go defend the node, your class it's static and good at it" than the "Hey NOOB, what are you doing?!??!? DEFEND NOOOB!" Or "Tank, keep the turret because if they attack you we manage to reach you in time!" then "NOOOOB GO TO THE TURRETTT!! !!!! ARGH, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" etc. I love the WW2 english motto "Keep calm and carry on." It's one of my life meanings.
  21. Even if I understand people get frustrated when other noobmates do silly things, trashtalking and insulting them won't change anything: you'll only get the atmosphere dark and uncomfortable for other ppl too that are doing their "job", not too mention that if you're typing you're not playing (or you're an octopus ). So if you really want to "help" them out, wait till the end of the WZ then whisper them with few hints: if they're just newbie goodwilled they'll treasure it and do the same thing with others in need; it's the typical "good chain". Otherwise get accustomed to keep encountering silly noobs that'll ruin your game, make you angry and spoil the fun and relaxing moment that an MMO should do.
  22. Jorgan, it seemed right for some reasons: - He's the type that "get things done", no matter what, regulations can go to hell - He has more field experience - I was romantically involved with Dorne, so no point to favor her with an open promotion: it felt wrong to do that; also she was relatively a new joiner of the squad, former imperial, so a lot of external observers could have think bad about it - He was unjustly degraded for the mistake of others on Ord Mantell and i've got his post and his role thanks to that: the least i could do was to restore his previous rank - Last but not least, putting two humans (me and Elara) at the command of a multi-specie team dosn't look nice to represent Republic ideals
  23. Well yes, i think that so, but even if I'm also straight i think that this content should be in the game (as any other game with romance option, BW or not BW), because it's "right" and also "normal" (i'm using simple words to avoid escalating the issue). So basically I'm a supporter of the initiative without any stakes on it, just because it feel "right" to have same-equality-options.
  24. It was fun going clashing on Ilum from time to time Now it's just a dead planet <.<
