  1. i think sorc heals will still be prevalent. bubble is sooo good, and sorcs utility is still unmatched.
  2. i know, im sick of everybody complaining cause their beloved character got nerfed, and looking over all the other stuff that people have been whining about.
  3. so like most other people, i was really excited to see the 1.2 patch notes, and after reading them, i am quite pleased. i dont think people realize how fast bioware is patching and producing content. most of the changes that ive read, especially the class ones, were needed. inquisitor and counselor aoe damage was getting out of control, bh tracer missile spam was slowed down, there are operatives and smugglers complaining about damage dont realize that most other damage classes got nerfed meaning they will be more in line with what others can do. its good to see that the marauder got an improved smash, as marauders and sentinels lacked a tree/rotation more friendly for newer players. and for those concerned about a bunch of marauders being rage, they are easy to counter if you know what you are doing. plenty of pve changes look great, it looks like the gtn got upgraded which was needed, and items will be more tradeable meaning we finally get a better economy. some of the new armor looks cool, the rest are kinda weird, but i think they all will be irrelevant cause everybody will be in orange crit crafted gear, meaning the end of everybody looking like clones. nobody mentioned the training dummies which will be nice, the legacy system making ships more awesome, and the new upgradeable ui. also good to see that they included target of target stuff.
  4. well if you are on a good team, your teammates should be focusing healers first, one on one, it is possible to kill healers but it takes a little while. you have it mostly right, keep trauma up on them, if you are anni spec, you have many different interrupts. charge if you specced into it, disruption, force choke, and your intimidating roar if used correctly. just keep piling damage on them. also, against healers you can use ravage cause most healers have to be rooted for their heals. i think one of the hardest healing classes to kill is the operative cause they can be mobile, and still heal pretty well.

  6. What is your accuracy/critical and surge at? plz only champion and battlemaster marauders. i heard its supposed to be pretty high? why over 100 though? for PVP btw. thanks.
  7. add some sort of immortal strike. uses 8-12 rage, 30-45 second cooldown, 3-6k damage.
  8. for any of those who have ever played star wars:battlefront, what do you think about a couple warzones like that? i think it would be pretty cool, maybe not as a big, but bigger than what we have now. maybe like 12v12. plus like the npc creep troopers and such. i also like the idea of having the twindling reinforcements, and maybe add bonuses for getting medals/doing certain things and such. i dunno, seems like it be really cool.

  10. winning a warzone is usually dependent on how many healers your team has. a team with no healers, will lose everytime. at least in the 50's... therefore, healing is not underpowered.
  11. for all those in battlemaster gear, do you use the mods given in it? or do you use different ones? if so, id be interested to hear which ones.
  12. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#401MffMzhRRdcZMfh00z.1 i dont pve that much, so its basically a pvp spec. i've heard that the aoe heal is garbage, so instead i went with this. revitalizers seems like it could be super good. question though. it says it restores you by 2% of your health. is that affected by med shield and survival training?
  13. in pvp, i like the op better. invisibilty at times is quite nice, plus being able to move and run around is quite amazing as well.
  14. 1. if i have deadly saber up, and use sweeping slash, does the bleed affect all hit targets? 2. i use deadly saber quite a bit, but i dont really understand it. whats the difference between 1 or 3 stacks? 3. are ataru and bleed procs considered "force" attacks? 4. anyone else have trouble putting up high damage with carnage?   15. from talking to people, it seems like carnage is a lot of peoples favorite spec, but it just isnt very good.
  16. same problems to the orginal poster. I just bounce off bounty hunters. and it feels like operatives and smugglers love marauders, cause they kill them so easily. also, carnage is my favorite spec as well, but it just doesnt put up the numbers as the other specs do. seems like im going through a huge rotation with defensive cds and every other class presses one button and does a bunch of damage.

  18. so im thinking about rolling a marauder. i have some questions for you guys after reading your forums. it seems like everyone says that you have to be good in order to play this class. doesnt that statement in itself make the glass gimped? any class played well should do well, and it seems like very few people do well with marauder. which brings me to my next question. Everyone says this class starts to shine at higher levels and i hear stories about 50's dominating. every 50 in pvp dominates. once you are at 50, gear and expertise can make any mediocre player into a good player against other non 50s. i then hear stories about how you HAVE to have quinn? the healer i think. to me this seems like bad news. At least for the operative, you can solo much of your story. overall, im interested to see what the general opinion of the marauder is, from its own players.

  23. okay, i have a few questions. first of all, this is my first mmo ever, and i have some basic questions. firstly, im in a guild and im pretty sure its located in a pvp server. does that mean if im walking around doing the main story, can i get attacked? can anybody attack me? if i die, do i lose all my equipment? what happens if i die? any other general advice. sorry about the noob questions.
