  1. The company doesn't give a s**t, that is what is killing the game. Seriously, check out Diablo III site. Feedback all over with blue posts and their game isn't even launched! We can't even get a damn post from someone who knows something besides, "This thread has been closed because I am bored and power hungry."
  2. Yes, they are on the PvP vendor.
  3. How long does it take to respond to a community that is about to crumble about a game-breaking issue? Why can the thousands of us not get an official response outlaying the solution to the server population problem? Yes, yes I know about the Mr. Raid post: This post does not give us a hard date and certainly does not fix the glaring issue that is preventing most of us from even playing the game: Server Population. How do they expect us to wait until "early summer" to fix an issue that is critical now!? So, why is it so hard to get a response?
  4. OP, they spent all their money on voice acting for the quests! Don't get picky...
  5. Yes, it clearly separates PvE and PvP gear.
  6. Full WH sorc here and I can heal just fine. L2P
  7. Who cares about the trade network? There aren't enough people online to use it anyway...
  8. That's not true. They can simply implement server checks and if the value client side does not reflect the value server side, then they will get DC'd or whatever BW chooses. Other games use this method.

    Too few to PvP

Well, I think this ex-employee hit the nail on the head.
  10. How about you populate the servers? That would be a start. Thanks.

    Too few to PvP

Same here on Rakata Mind Prison.
  12. The number 1 problem right now is the lack of players on servers. You can fix every other issue but it will not matter until more than 10 people are running around the fleet. (Not being dramatic, literally 10 people on IF) Please open up server merges or realm transfers. This game has way too many servers for the few players remaining.
  13. I'd say they have enough on their plate... don't need to go breaking more stuff lol
  14. Garricus any updates on this guide as of the newest patch?
  15. I understand the need for a change to healing pre 1.2. As a Sorc healer always playing with a full 4 premade on vent, I wouldnt die. My teammates with me wouldnt die. I had no problem keeping 3 others, and myself up, even with 3-5 people attacking our 4. That was an issue, especially in voidstar when it would be a 0-0 stalemate because both sides have decent heals. I was in full Battlemaster gear before 1.2 and felt near invicible, I knew changes were coming. And now I cannot heal myself through 1 well played Warrior, or 2 decent players in recruit. I could be like others here and blame the expertise buff to damage, and nerf to healing. I went from 12% increase to damage, damage reduction and healing. Now its 20% damage, 16% reduction and 10% healing. A large change, but by and large not the central problem. I could site the considerable increase in cast time to our one off CD heal being the problem. I could site the abundance of interrupts every class has, and the low CD time of them, but its not the central problem. I could site the abundance of CC most classes have, and how I can be killed before my resolve gets anything near full. The truth is its the combination of all of this that is the issue. If I have a Marauder and PT on me, I cannot cast. They can alternate their interrupts and I die quick without being able to cast. Burst is also significantly higher, obviously, so I get put in such a hole that I could not heal myself out of it even IF they weren't interrupting me. I went DPS, like most of the other healers seem to be doing lately, to help with the DPS zerg that WZs have turned into. We need some kind of immunity to interrupts. Like after the same ability is interrupted twice, we are immune to interrupt for 8 seconds on that ability. Being able to completely lock a healer out of casting anything makes their presence useless. And it is at that point Bioware. You have given every class FAR too many CCs and interrupts. It is FAR too easy to lock a healer out, as I quickly discovered after rolling dps and killing them with ease. I have an interrupt, on a quick CD, with a large range. I have a stun. I have a knockback (which also roots depending on spec). I have a 'mez' (which is also instant depending on spec). 4 great CC / interrupt abilities, on one character. Its just too much. Me + 1 other DPS = instant dead healer. I understand you wanted players to be able to focus fire a target through heals, or the healer itself, but you over stepped. You forgot all those mechanics you gave EVERY class to stop healing. EVEN if you dropped the Trauma debuff (-30% healing), I think it wouldn't be enough. One of you should roll a 50 sorc healer and pvp with the community, you know, actually test the changes you make to your game like anyone with an IQ over 70 would do, and enjoy our frustration. You have turned pvp into a DPS zerg fest. Do something to balance it so people want to be Tanks and Healers again, as all of them on my team have switched to dps over the changes. /sign former healer
  16. I love this change. Realize you provided no help to your team, adjust what you do, get rewarded when you are of importance to your team. We (people that are good at PVP) shouldnt have to carry you people through. I am glad there is less care-bearing of new PVPers. Even though you get to buy better gear than I had at 50 for pvp, using only credits. Even though you dont have to be rank 60 to wear Battlemaster gear now. Even though you dont have to go through the RNG of getting a BM token. Even though a single piece of BM armor no longer costs 8,000 WZ comms (3,000 for 1,000 merc comms, 1,000 more wz comms to get the BM token for 1,000merc/wz comms), just 800-1500. What a change! You by far, have it easier now in PVP, quit crying.
  17. Your logic is off. If you had 457 Cent comms, you were probably already Champ/BM geared. So you had those Cent comms rotting on your character, like I did. Being able to trade them in for something, ANYTHING, is an improvement. So how was that 3 weeks wasted when you werent going to use them anyway? I for one ended up spending all of mine on prototype boxes because I found the rewards of the crafting boxes lackluster. Made ~800k just off selling what I got out of those boxes. Thanks BiowEAre.
  18. As a fanboy from the start, I am now ready to fully admit this game is a failure. It was launched with 60% of the content it should have had. The pvp is a joke. Many of us play TOR purely for pvp. We get huttball 80% of the time because of faction imbalance, which is going to be around in ANY MMO. So why WZs were made faction specific (except Huttball) is beyond me, and beyond stupid. We couldnt move our UIs. We have no target of target, necessary for both pve and pvp. We couldnt queue to warzones with 8. We had this legacy system with no perks, why launch with this incomplete. We have plenty of hackers in PVP that never get any punishment, let alone a ban. World pvp is disgustingly broken, unused. THE LEVEL 50 PLANET IS DESERTED. Ilum is no longer used. Bioware, I know a lot of getting this game pushed through incomplete is EA's fault, but come on, it's beyond a joke now, and I just preordered Guild Wars 2 and will be unsubscribing. To anyone that is going to chime in with, "Well X MMO (99% sure its going to be WOW) didn't launch with this or that! Be greatful you had this and that." TOR was launched to compete with WOW, in its current form. Get with the times, the bar has been raised and you need to meet or exceed it, not fail dramatically to come near it. New car companies dont launch with tech from the 80s and go "Well Ford didnt launch with those options, it took years!" Irrelevant as this games pvp has become. I really wanted to like this game. I tried really hard to enjoy it, and I have. But because of how pvp is set up, after 3 weeks post 50, it's boring as watching paint dry. You have failed to keep the avid pvp'ers, I wouldn't be surprised if you see servers even more desolate now.

    New Warzone Ideas

We can all agree that we need some new Warzones already. I only play MMOs for PVP and 3 Warzones are already overplayed, probably primarily due to the fact Ive played more Huttball than Alderaan and Voidstar combined. So here are some ideas I have come up with: First Idea: 12 man Warzone. 6 points, each inside instanced walled minizones, similar to class quest areas. Holding each point ticks up points for your team, first team to X points wins. Only 2 players per team are allowed in any one minizone. Once you are in an area, you cannot leave until you die. So there are 6 points, each being 2v2 battles, winning team caps the point, and waits to D for the next 2 man crew to come in. It would be like six 2v2 arenas, but you are a member of a larger 12 man team, able to switch the composition of your teams at will. A few hazards in each area so that players may kill themselves to exit and regroup. We need a capture the flag I know what most of you will say, Warsong Gulch RIPOFF, NO... We all played capture the flag as kids. Many MMOs have capture the flag. It is fun, we need it, give it to us. Rules are obvious, but we could mix it up by having 1 cap point in the middle instead of back at each teams base. Or alternating Defense and Offense similar to Voidstar so the team focuses on one or the other, instead of doing both at once. I really dont care, we just need capture the flag. Teams of 8, or 12, or even 16. We need a large population Warzone 20, 24 or 28 people would be great. We don't necessarily need objectives. It could just be a deathmatch. Each team starts with 300 points. Every death subtracts 1 point. Maybe a king of the hill style point in the middle of the map, holding team regens 1 point per 6 seconds. Place power-ups far outside the hill so that incoming teams attempting to recap get some kind of advantage so that the point changes hands regularly. Random Deathmatches Each Warzone, including the current ones, has the chance of opening as a deathmatch instance and not its standard game mode. Faction would not matter, Republic can play Republic on Alderaan for example. Each team has X number of reinforcements, every player death subtracts a point. First team to 0 loses. Objectives are obviously disabled. What do you guys think? What are your ideas to change these? What are your ideas for new Warzones, ie if BiowEAre gave you the ability to make their next Warzone, what would it be? Hoping for constructive posts here.
