  1. Just about any can work if geared right. I usually use Jaesa or Quinn.
  2. Done her story a couple of times. You won't get any more conversations with her until you finish Act 1. Then you'll probably have 5 or 6 in a row.
  3. They will periodically put old packs back up for sale on the Cartel Market. Keep an eye out for them.
  4. This. When you start new characters, the presence boost will turn your companions into killing machines.
  5. I'll give this a shot. IMO: 1. Marauder DPS > Veng Jugg DPS. If properly geared, the gap can be narrowed a lot, but Mara will be higher. 2. Heavy armor = much less squishy. 3. Anni spec will help with that some, as will the fact that they have a lot of tools for survival. If you're that worried about survivability, use Quinn for the tougher fights. 4. Except for certain fights, this is what I did, at least up until about Belsavis. Keep them geared properly and you should be ok. 5. cool. 6. Advanced class didn't seem to matter to the story one way or the other. It's a fun story no matter what. Hope this helped. YMMV.
  6. I've taken several classes and companions through Quesh, and I don't recall getting any affection bumps (+ or -) for any of them.
  7. Conversations for all classes are dependent on where you are in your class story, as well as affection. If I recall, the Star convo is the last one you will have with her in Act I. I think that is how it was for me. Then after finishing Act I, I got 5 or 6 convos in a row. Just be patient and continue your class story. You'll get there.
  8. IIRC, Jaesa does like courting gifts, but only once you get her affection up past a certain point (2k?).
  9. I used Tharan and made sure to use interrupts.
  10. You can roll with either. Having the pocket healer is nice, and will help you be able to take mobs you otherwise couldn't, but it is not necessary to progress.
  11. It isn't just affection that triggers conversations. You also need to be at the right point in the storyline. Some conversations won't trigger until you get to act 2, act 3, etc.
  12. Cybertech can be useful while leveling for crafting armor and mods.
  13. Yes. Diplomacy goes much better with bio.
  14. Sure there are. I'm the best ever at pvp! Anyone that kills me anywhere, ever, must be hacking to do it!
  15. Excellent. I was just thinking to myself, ' You know, there really aren't enough threads with people whining about Smash.'
  16. Counter and get away to get help, maybe. Counter and kill them both? No. If you're on the wrong end of a 2 v 1, 99% of the time you should get your *** kicked. Welcome to pvp.
  17. you could always try panhandling.
  18. Becaue the BW folks love to see hilarious threads like this one.

  20. No it isn't. It's supposed to work so that the OP is able to kill anyone anytime he wants.
  21. If you haven't yet, do the bonus series on Tatooine.
  22. Reading the threads in this section, it seems like a lot of the skills are f'd up between 400 and 450.
