  1. Sore of what? Almost everyone's cleared it on Nightmare mode. Only those thinking it's worth it post here about their "achievements". In other words, you're competing with 2 guilds or some worthlessly low amount. Grats, you won the forum first. Just shut yer flytrap until there's a proper way of tracking progress and much more importantly, proper content worth mentioning to begin with. Then again I just saw you guys never raided in WoW. No wonder you're proud of simplified content, you've never done anything challenging.
  2. It's weak in PvE. You can solo heal most content, even on 8-man Nightmare (everything except the bountyhunters, the weird puzzle droid and Karagga), but that's got nothing to do with how well YOU play, it's got something to with how well your TEAM plays (and how many melee you ditch because they're in an even worse position). They avoid damage, you can do your miserable rotation, you're fine. Someone takes too much damage, you're doomed because your crisis control is almost non-existant compared to that of sorcerer. In PvP on the other hand I feel fine, but obviously that opinion may change when they actually add rated games. Easy way to make us more viable is changing Diagnostic Scan or Recuperative Nanotech.
  3. I didn't name any MC or BWL bosses, and WoW content has improved with it's players (except the latest few additions). This game, on the other hand, is one major step down as to be expected from introductionary content and a padawan developer team. Then, though, you'd expect people to get off their high horses with thinking winning the special olympics while being the only contestants is something to be proud of. And as the guy above said, there's certain old fights that would still cause guilds to disband without a doubt.
  4. People that consider any of this content "tough" have clearly never raided in World of Warcraft. After fights like C'thun, KT40, M'uru, Yogg+0 and LK25HC, you just don't consider things like this.. tough.
  5. It just ticks once for twice the amount. Chance of proccing is not increased with 2 stacks.
  6. My server is full of players who couldn't make it to 2200 in WoW let alone my level, except for the guys I went here with. I'm all for cross-realm PvP, now just rated and we're set.
  7. Nothing competitive about that. I can already tell by now I would end up with a 99% winrate, only potential losses being disconnects.
  8. If you're going to base arena popularity off season 10/season 11 you're out of your mind. As a 9x multichar gladiator I can tell you that alot of high rated veterans have quit, myself included. Arena peaked in TBC/WotLK, Cataclysm's been a joke. Don't base your statistics off that. That said it'd be a great idea for SWtoR, too.
  9. I chose not to though, so it might be a wrong guess.
  10. 1. WoW: TBC ; not counting S1 2. WoW: WotLK ; Not counting S5 3. Everything else was quite miserable Basing off class balance and rated options.
  11. Any normal person knows everyone is terrible until rated games regionwide are added.
  12. We ran it with me solo healing as Operative, 6 dps and a Jugg tank for the adds on hardmode simply because the enrage is a pain. On Nightmare, you shouldn't worry about the swipes, worry about making the enrage timer.
  13. Here's some of my hardmode flashpoint/operation experience thus far. Surgical Probe spam on your tank will in most cases cause him to die slowly. If you get in this awkward situation, yell at them to do whatever they can to avoid damage or ask a dps to throw in a heal so you can start casting again aswell. Kolto Infusion is rubbish, even with the 4-set it's just terrible and should never be used. The only possible exception is when you know someone's going to get bursted hard and you want them healed up extremely fast and have the resources (energy & TA). Your crisis control is awful, live with it. Don't try to be the hero or panic, you'll feel like a god for 5 Kolto Injections and then you're suddenly stuck scanning hopelessly for the next 15 seconds. Always keep your head cool. Exceptions with Adrenaline Probe can be made. In addition to that, get your team to work with you on it. If they pop their defensive cooldowns when you need them and not when they think they need them, it makes life that much easier. Having a Relic with Alacrity or Crit/Surge on-use works really well with chain scanning when you're in a low-energy position. Evasive Imperative & Slip Away are both really good talents for fights where movement is essential. When you see your friendly Sorcerer spamming shields on every player and Revivification every once in a while and outheals practically everything while still having over half their Force remaining, you are allowed to cry. Know it's not your fault, it's Bioware's. Great guide btw, would be nice if you could fix the energy regen levels though. Here's the correct values: 0-20 = 2 energy/sec (Very Slow) 20-40 = 3 energy/sec (Slow) 40-60 = 3 energy/sec (Moderate, no idea why it's still 3) 60-100 = 5 energy/sec (Fast)
  14. You need proper PvP to make a proper PvP video.
  15. Not really no, I just figured that if it would pick non-combat pets over actual players even at max health, it wouldn't work as a smart heal. Then again it could just consider non-combat pets as actual players and not have priorities there, so you're probably right anyhow. Still makes it way worse than Reviv, and there'll always be someone in that to ensure it's effectiveness is beyond RN.
  16. Just compare it to Rivivification and you have your answer about how bad it really is. One player being affected by that equals 3 players being affected by RN, and theirs limits to 8 targets, ours 4. It's also not a smart heal and will target non-combat pets if they're closer.
  17. @Ahebish; Clearly you've never ever raided a bossfight with an actual enrage timer.
  18. We're extremely weak at crisis management. In raids you can let your 600 resource pool sorcerer/republic equivalent with higher regen/second (and no penalty for being low) deal with that as they lose nothing spamming heals a few times. Too bad they can also deal with AoE healing 10x better because their 31 point talent isn't utterly worthless. It's easy to say we don't need to keep everyone topped off, but in most situations beyond your average normal flashpoint boss, you unfortunately do. Not to mention that our setbonusses are awful, they either buff our broken 31 point talent (2set PvP, 2set PvE) and the 4set PvE buffs the one heal we (should) never, ever use due to it's inefficiency. In PvP on the other hand I find myself being rather unkillable and doing too high damage. My idea? Fix Recuperative Nanotech and make Diagnostic Scan not take a year to regen your energy and require you to be stationary and spam it (otherwise it won't tick until 1 second into the cast on each new channel). At the same time ensure it remains balanced, but I'm fairly sure that's where they should be poking around. Temporary help? Get a sick alacrity (haste) relic, pop it and spam that scan. :-)
  19. Sending someone who can survive a hit in first or having someone vanish after each wipe and pull him before the rest enters is a temporary way to fix this.
