  2. Arsenal - High Velocity Gas Cylinder Pyro - Combustible Gas Cylinder Bodyguard - Combat Support Cylinder. The discipline paths explain out which cylinder is used, due to what is buffed by certain abilities in the path.
  3. The listed idea to kill Commanders/Battlemasters is an alternative to just finishing in the Top 10. Unnammed Commanders/Battlemasters have a GUARENTEE of dropping up to 10 (IIRC) encryptions. You get 10 guildies together, find 5 Commanders/Battlemasters, kill them all. BOOM there is a Framework. The Unnamed Commanders/Battlemasters also have a small chance of dropping a Framework. The Named Commanders/Battlemasters have a GUARENTEED of dropping a Framework, AS WELL as Encryptions. SO! Do Commander/Battlemaster runs, get Encryptions/Frameworks, in addition to running your Flashpoint groupfinder, the occational heroic, WB kill, Ops runs, ect and you should make out like Flynn getting your Frameworks. You don't have to win, don't have to place in the Top 10 every week to open your Capital Ship fully. The loss of Crafting just means you actually HAVE to do the entire boat of Conquest objectives, not just on 1 toon, but on multiple ones to get your score up. Level them alts yo!
  4. Ok, first and foremost, that Rotation is horrendous. Even more so for someone at your level. Assuming you have no stacks of Fury start combat this way: Frenzy Berserk Force Leap Raging Burst (If single target)/Smash (If aoe) Ravage Force Crush Force Scream Obliterate ----------- Beyond this you will work in Battering Assault as you need the Rage. Furious Strike comes at 57, Dual Saber Throw comes at 51, Vicious Strike you should not really worry about using, you have more than enough attacks to burn Rage with, Assault do not worry about either. Fury in it's simplest is very rigid in it's rotation. 2 blocks of attacks, either your Force Crush block, or your Berserk block. Do I claim to be the best Smash Monkey out there? No, but I have leveled both a Jugg and a Sentinel as Smash and it is a perfectly fine leveling spec. The next question to ask, which was asked before. Are you F2P, Preferred, or Sub? If F2P or Preferred, you will be limited on your quick bars, Subs have full access. The access to more bars comes in the UI Editor in the main game menu. The last questions to ask, how up to date is your gear? Are you using comparable level armor/implant/earpiece/MH/OH? Are you using just green quality gear, are you using non moddable equipment? I ask these due to being under geared will cause a new player to not know to handle incoming damage vs outgoing damage. Make sure your equipment is up to snuff, not damaged, as well as your companion. As a Mara, look to use Quinn, he may be annoying, but he is a healer. If you are not a fan of him, try either the Ship droid (2V-R8), or if you can afford it, get Treek. Good luck with this.
  5. Depending upon the group/target you are fighting, either healer or dps will be fine. I went Mako for the most part on my first PT, but then went Gault for my second one. Gault was quite enjoyable for his snarky comments during cut scenes, especially if you are going more DSish lean.
  6. Bad healers probably? New healers to 60 due to 12X and not use to the incoming damage profile.
  7. All three specs are perfectly fine to level with. Play which one you feel the most comfortable with.
  8. For those PT/VG Tanks that are crying about not using your pistol at all, you are DEFINITELY needing to L2P. Rapid Shot is a necessary filler, since it procs Ion Cell, which grants Heat Screen, which lowers the cool down on Heat Blast. Beyond that, the only real use that Unload served for a PT/VG (in a PvE aspect) was tied to TSO for heat management. The damage done on it was quite lacking due to the innate buffs that Merc/Mandos have baked into their ACs. Please, just effin stop this.

  13. Tank - +41 Endurance DPS - +41 Power usually. Best bet, spend a bit of Cartel Coins on some CM crystals for your toon, they unlock in the collection, so you can overwrite and take them out again whenever you want. Spend a bit more of CC to unlock it for every toon in your legacy.

  16. The first reply was a two fold jumbled answer. First part, Go to the planets listed and FARM bioanalysis mats instead of buying them to level up. Second part, Hyper Battle Absorb Adrenals are one of the best adrenals for ALL tanks, not just Sin/Shadow tanks. The best is sold by one of the vendors on Ilum for 35 basic comms. But yes, if you are looking to make money, either stims, adrenals, and med packs will all sell decently, if listed for a long enough period.

  18. So...all of your proposed changes are just for PvP? And what about the other aspect of the game? Oil Slick changes: Igniting Oil slick...sure fine for pve, would actually give us a bit more aoe threat. Snare on oil slick, already is a 70% speed reduction on Oil Slick for those standing in it. And don't you effin DARE touch my accuracy reduction. Which is still beneficial in PvP. 70% accuracy reduction is huge. Shielding bonus stuff: As said, how is this beneficial to the PvE side of the game? None at all. Improved Interrupts: The only change I would want to see with interrupts in PvE would be a decrease in the cooldown further for Quell. What I am getting at is that when it comes to nerfs/buffs in MMOs, devs need to look at the impact of a change to both sides of the game and not just one or the other.

To get the Solo Mode version of the Assault on Tython mission, there is a astromech droid on the fleet with a Legacy Title of <Prelude to Shadows of Revan> Talk to that droid and you will be able to pick up the mission to do the Solo Versions. Keep in mind that these are only able to be done by yourself once.

  22. Was just coming to post something about this Selura. This not only affects guilds who have completed, but those that need this week in general since we are still stuck on the previous week's invasion. Also, guilds are able to invade this week who did not do any Conquest last week.
  23. If you are referring to the shock from proccing your cylinder, based upon the little bit of damage done to my Ops level training dummy, 127 damage per application. This though has a very high threat modifier on it so the threat per damage is quite generous.
