  1. It's not the developers who get it, the developers are the ones who create the game, we are the ones who play the game. We know the flaws of each mmo, stop saying Blizzard knows what they're doing, and stop saying BioWare knows what they're doing, there is a point where they are no longer eligible for the games success, and it is up to them to listen to what the game needs in order to compete--and not listening BioWare is a dismissive and a ignorant attitude. Stand up everybody! What does SWTOR need? SERVER MERGES DAMN RIGHT.... we are the people who have the emotions and drive the game, without us there would be no SWTOR, without us they would have to shut down the servers and stop development on this game, without us they wouldn't make money. We are the ones who get it! Stop saying server merges are coming soon! You are just digging yourself in a bigger hole, with 1.2 legacy, server merges and transfers will become harder! As for Blizzard, they are overconfident and greedy, however, they listen to their fans Too much it's a downfall. BioWare, please allow the fans to be a part of the creative design process instead of saying "We know everything" This is your first mmo, and will be your last if you don't listen to the people who have been playing them since the late 90's
  2. Can't tell you how much I agree. I remeber back in the day when PvP was actually Personal.
  3. Family Guy Online is the new SWTOR and WoW killer!
  4. They have very strict laws in China to restrict people from playing online games past midnight, and it just wouldn't work with the time periods. However, they may be able to release this game in China soon if all goes good and well.
  5. So, I've decided to take a six month break off SWTOR since I can't get hands on what BioWare made mistakes on. For this time I will be playing games I've missed since 2007, due to WoW and other AA MMO's released to date. Hopefully when I come back BioWare will have accomplished the following. 1. Make the game more polished. 2. Endgame with a meaning. 3. Non useless game systems. 4. More responsive PvP Thank you, and I can't wait to come back.
  6. Worst planet? A better question would be a planet I didn't absolutely hate--and I would categorize that planet as Voss.
  7. Your idea doesn't sadden me--what saddens me is people using reference as vampires to Twilight instead of real Vampire movies.
  8. First video, tell me what ya think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Koc2lmEsc
  9. Hello guys, this is a little Machinima I found about the SWTOR Forums! Enjoy.
  10. Yup, this is totally promotion. If this was promotion I wouldn't place something that is on topic to the thread and what I want to discuss about. I put my words into a video, too lazy to type, sorry.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adcih_S8HU4 This is my video explaining my thoughts...
  12. Anymore feedback would be appreciated.
  13. Ok thanks guys! I will make a video again once I get more of my main abilities.
  14. Feedback much appreciated :0
  15. Hey guys, I released this short video yesterday! If any Veteran Marauders would tell me what I'm doing wrong then please do so! Also, the video ends at 2:20, Youtube is currently cutting it out but it is taking a while. Enoy
  16. This is not a good criteria, as this population is world wide... 82% of the games population is low...
  17. can you please use formal english sentences please?
  18. Hello guys, earlier I made a video (you can find here ) and it really got me thinking on what I feel the current direction of this game is going--now you're probably saying "Oh no, not another one of these threads" however, it is not another thread that complains without any valid reason, the point of this thread is to discuss the imperceptible points of this game, enjoy. Now, the first section I went over in my video was "They had too many damn servers at launch" and I hold this point true to my day; not only was there too many servers at launch, new game systems such as the Legacy system (Ex. - My legacy name is Joty, and another guy on the server I want to transfer to has the same legacy name) will make it more difficult for server merges and server transfers to take place. People will get tired of playing on low population servers and eventually decide to abdicate their reason to be playing the game. This is what I call the "Erosion effect" small things stacking up to take a tole on the games population over time. The second thing I went into depth on is that there is not much endgame, people will say that their is two operations, a lot of HM flashpoints, three warzones, and a great incentive on rolling an alt, however, being a player that has dedicated more than 400 hours on this game, it's simply not enough. The problem with SWTOR is that the developers spent the majority of the focus on developing this game making the leveling experience feel gallant and silky, however, they didn't spend enough time focusing on making sure that the endgame was playable, solid, and had good incentive on doing it over again--hint why I used the term over again, the problem with SWTOR isn't that there isn't enough endgame, it's just there is not enough endgame content; what I mean by this is the endgame content is too easy. Now that I listed the simple parts that I discussed in my video, I want to go into more depth on the PvP portion of the game. The PvP portion of this game lacks many things, for one, the PvP just doesn't feel personal. My fav. thing about older mmo's was that they felt personal, however, SWTOR doesn't do anything to make the game feel personal AT all-- instead, it encourages not making the gameplay feel personal. Another thing that this game falls short on is a better way for players to organize events. To me the funner parts of online games are the player segments of it. What made other Online games so fun to me was the player organized events, however, SWTOR discourages players organizing events through the heavy loading screens of getting place to place, phasing, no calendar, and no rewards for fighting other players out in the open world. If you read this, thank you--I spent about 10 minutes writing this and hope it will give some good feedback ON what you should argue for as players that care for this game ~ Thank you.
  19. It's simple, they had too much servers at launch. Sure there is 1.7m subscribers, but they launched with as much servers close to the amount of servers WoW has, and WoW has 10m subs. They where overconfident, but I have no doubt that there is 1.7m subs.
  20. Oh sorry, I misunderstood, WoW model viewer is kinda different, sorry.
  21. http://www.torhead.com/ see the 3d model viewer big clicky button on the front page? your welcome.
  22. Thanks, can you name the Channel that is specifically streaming it?
  23. I've been looking all over Youtube and can't find any, can someone post a link to some Novare Coast gameplay (The new WZ) or if you're in the PTS record it? Thanks
  24. Yo BioWare, in case you didn't know it, GW2 mass beta is happening early april, and Diablo 3 is coming out on may 15th. SWTOR needs to step up it's game and start banging in features to this game, I'd hate to see it go, but with two big related gaming titles coming out soon, you need something to drive players.
