I actually thought the same thing for a while until I bothered to actually look at my score and realized it was a +/- system. Thank you, Bioware, for adding a bit of hockey to the system! Just tired of all the new lightsabers being Light or Dark restricted...

Sorry if this has been answered or explained fully somewhere already, the search function is still missing. My question is about remaining neutral through the game. Is doing so a viable option or am I basically screwing myself over? I've seen plenty of useful Light and Dark only stuff and I know that a few things are restricted from one or the other (red saber gems are restricted from light, for example) but ultimately I'm afraid that by the time I hit 50 I'm going to be screwed out of decent gear. I'm not usually the kind of player who's out to max all his numbers asap, especially with a game like this. I'm playing through it and making my choices the way I want to, which is exactly what they want us to do, right? I like making the choices that fit at the time rather than what'll get me points for which. It'd just be nice to know that my doing so isn't going to turn this first character of mine into a throw-away experiment by the end of it.

Welp! I think I'm done. This thread used to be fun and entertaining but it would seem have lost sight and joined in on all the wining threads that this one was supposed to stay away from. You will all play the game you paid and most will undoubtedly love it for quite a long time and you will love Bioware for it. So little respect for the work these people put in for you all. My heart goes out to them and their years of dedication and artistic endeavours for people who wish for nothing more than their own personal gratification and will crap on those who are trying to give it to them in an orderly and WORKING fashion. You all make me feel old...
