  1. Every time you say "In this PVP Arena" I hear it to the tune of "Big Rock Candy Mountain"
  2. Yes, you do pop defensive CDs while being focused, ideally before you've been hit for a lot of damage. Yes a damage mitigation technique would be better, but operatives don't have one. You're a bad player and you certainly don't deserve the holier then thou affectation with which you ended that post. Being generally incompetent in real life probably doesn't help either.
  3. It's better then defense screen which I honestly wasn't even including, because it shouldn't even qualify. Assassins have shroud and overcharge Troopers have reactive shield.
  4. Anytime I'm being focused on by anything other then a sage, anytime I'm capping a node, anytime I need to cleanse a root while being focused, when I have the huttball while being focused. Maybe you like having a 1 minute CD cleanse, but on an operative it's almost pointless, we have a cleanse with no CD. We do not however, have a single defensive CD that prevents damage, with the exception of regular attacks which are few and far between. I use it nearly all the time because the CD is 30 seconds if I'm being attacked, which is how I know how little damage it prevents. It's useful on the very rare occasions that someone tries to stop my node capture with a regular attack, or when I'm playing huttball. It's not useful for staying alive, which is what a defensive CD should be good for.
  5. Mr.semantics over here. OK not so useless as to not use it, just less useful then every other defensive cool down in the game. Which it is, in terms of damage prevention, it stops less damage then any other. And yes I slept with your mum and she won't stop calling.
  6. Yes that's probably more powerful then anything I've heard of vitiate doing, but I'm still curious why more people haven't used that fact to predicate their arguments.
  7. Shroud cleanses as well, and stops every classes most powerful moves. Evasion is the worse defensive cooldown in the game + cleanse. Shroud is one of the best + cleanse. I feel no pity for a 5% chance to hit through shroud whether it's intended or not.
  8. You must be Jerry Seinfeld's autistic nephew, because your observational humor is unpalatable.
  9. I don't know jack **** about EU but I've yet to hear one thing Sidious did that demonstrated more power then Vitiate's accomplishments. When argument can be made for Sidious being more powerful that's based solely on feats of power? And not "George Lucas said so" because frankly I don't care what George Lucas thinks, he's a hack writer and an even worse director.
  10. I'm sure that depends on how big your boyfriend is
  11. Even warriors, who have the most physical attacks, do more then 50% of their damage with force powers, making my statement correct. Evasion can stop ravage, which will always be interrupted anyway, and a collection of low damage moves that don't add burst. Every other class in the game does an even higher percentage of it's damage with force/tech powers then physical.
  12. A warrior has more capability of damaging an operative with evasion then an assassin with shroud, and that's doubly true for every other class.
  13. I'm guessing you have to sit on a special cushion when you play.
  14. No it isn't, Concealed strike should auto-crit, then it would be.
  15. Operative here. I get hit through evasion all the time, shroud is overpowered and deserves to be bugged. that is all.
  16. mercenaries are begging to get interrupted when they fly in the air and use their AOE rockets.
  17. valor can pass level at 50
  18. nobody will listen to you with so few capital letters in your post
  19. right we should effectively nerf certain classes by improving the under-powered ones, We don't need to take anything away from anyone to balance pvp.
  20. "You've exceeded your limit on Warzone Commendations"
  21. It's pretty obvious that even if they don't do an entirely new story for the movies, they'll change enough that it won't fit into what's considered Canon. The truth is that everything beyond the movies is just merchandising, it's not George Lucas or the production team that sits around and decided what is and isn't Canon, it's the fans who insist on treating their fantasy like it's a baseball game with stats and timelines. Either adjust your opinion on what's Canon, or ignore the movies all together, comic book fans have been doing it for years now.
  22. Really love the 2nd two suggestions, but have a differing opinion. for one thing, there is already a healing debuff in this game, it's used by marauders and snipers to burst down a target that is being spam healed. What would be more interesting to me, would be a healing debuff to decrease healing cast, one that wouldn't be cleansable. That would allow us to do what we do best, burst down the healer. As it stands I think that's the primary responsibility of the concealment operative in group fights, so they should play to that strength. It would flesh out the different roles of DPS classes, and more importantly it would provide a useful niche for the operative. I think deception sins should get this as well. Another possibility is giving conc. ops a procc that allows us to ignore a chunk of damage mitigation (say 30%) provided by guard/taunt for a 6-8 second window, preferably attached to acid blade as it would allow use to improve our initial burst against a guarded healer. I think either of those, when combined with your recommended "Supercharged Stealth" (You know this is Force Camo right?) would put us on Rated Teams, simply because we'd be the go-to class for dropping healers, which are the highest priority targets. However your 1st suggestion to me seems over-complicated and really kind of useless. If Hidden Strike isn't going to drop them on their face, I'd say just reduce the CD on back stab to 9s, across the board, for each Specc. As it stands assassins have backstab on GCD, ours could stand to be 9. Obviously this would mean ALOT more to concealment, with acid blade. I'd love to say Shield Probe should be a flat damage mitigation skill instead of a health extender, but I feel any substantial rate of mitigation would play too strongly on medic specced operatives, so BW come up with some way for DPS specced operatives to increase their survivability, the flat 30% aoe reduction would probably do it when combined with the suggested Force Camo.
