So, I buy game time in chunks when I want to play. I never select a re-occurring subscription. My current game time is good through December (bought a 180 day back in the summer)... but if I try to PRE-ORDER the new expansion, it is making me select a re-occurring subscription...???? Is this true? Why????? Will I even be able to buy the stupid expansion when it comes out if I am not on a re-occurring sub? Makes no sense.

Kind of curious why you want to do the same story line all over again???? There are 8 class stories in this game. I recommend trying one of the other ones. The JK story is quite awesome - if you are bound to the Republic side. A LOT more interesting than the JC story IMO.

There was NOTHING the wrong with the way that it was... so WHY did they need to change it? While leveling, it is a pain to view your gear to see what level items you have installed in it... as before, it was easy. Alas, they are not going to change it back though, not in a million years. Races are free.... you just have to level one to level 50 in the base classes they come in. They just give you the option to unlock it with $$$ for thos people who are lazy.

It's pretty obvious really. Look at todays society. People are just acting out what they "really are" deep inside under their covers....

Most of my characters have full rested XP anyway, so this will just be like a normal weekend for me. I don't grind the same toon for 8 hours in a day like some folk. lol

Wow... How &$@^@#%$ lame...... So I have a LOT of characters on my server (17), which i play most of them. I always have rested XP on any character I play because of this. So for people like myself... will just be a normal weekend. This is just a bonus for the free to play people. Double lame. When LOTRO does a double XP weekend, you get the extra 100% xp boost on top of rested XP. So it is like a 3x XP weekend for "subscribers".

This is why I stopped doing end game gear grinds.... years ago. It "ends" the game for you, whether you like it or not. I just play multiple characters (have 18 on one server), and never worry about "getting better gear". Because "gearing up" is just a means to an end. And it basically.... .... pointess. Just my opinion though.

How does Double XP weekend stack with everything else? Just adds up? Is RestXP + DoubleXP + BonusXP (25% buff) going to give us 325% total, or is it more? Hope that question made sense.

I'd suggest playing the piano, or something. Sounds like you have the ability to focus and dedicate to a single cause. Shifting that focus to something worthwhile is something you have for a lifetime, not just within a video game. Your level 55 SWTOR characters will long be forgotten in a couple of years. Your ability to play a musical instrument will be carried with you the rest of your life. I say this because I did this 10 years ago when I found myself in the same boat. I shifted my energy to playing keyboards. I still game, have level 55 toons. But only causually. When the game is even remotely boring, I practice (now just mostly "play") the piano. 10 years ago I had elite MMORPG toons and could barely play a keyboard. Now, I have average to good MMORPG toons, and play the piano for my Church. You could, perhaps, be playing guitar for a band. Long story short - dedicate some of your time to something worthwhile. Video games are just passtimes. .02

I don't care about the websites, or the people who buy the stuff... ALL I want them to do, is filter out the ENDLESS SPAM in gen chat!!!!!!! LOTRO took care of that problem within the first month of Launch, and hasn't been a problem since... in 7 years now.

There are 2.05 versions of the game. Version 1 - Subscribers. Version 2 - People who don't subscribe, nore have paid a nickle to play it. Version 2.05 - People who don't subscribe, but have once done so... or have paid their nickle for the few select privledges you get for doing - just that. Pick which one you want to play, and stop complaining.

Yea, I had a great day yesterday! Best birthday present I got was my wife got me Lasik Surgery last week (been wanting to have it done for a decade now)... and yesterday (which was my birthday) I went for my 1 week followup - and my eyes have adjusted to 20/15 vision.. So that is awesome! But I have to wear reading glasses now - so it's a trade off I can live with.
