  1. Here's your screenshot. http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4026/screenshot2012011823380.jpg 1 minute, without the valor buff for controlling Ilium, because I'm Republic and that will never happen.
  2. Camping the spawn eliminates travel time.
  3. At times there more pubs than in the screenshot. I averaged about 25k an hour. There was no shortage of pubs to farm. Also, that was the republic base/spawn so it wasn't exactly easy for them to leave.
  4. I definitely wasn't afking. But with if you aoe everyone in the area you get the valor for all the people hit. Here's a picture of camping the republic spawn: http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4026/screenshot2012011823380.jpg You can see how it got out hand.
  5. 1 minute worth of valor. You're welcome to do the math for the rest of it. http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4026/screenshot2012011823380.jpg

    You Guys Mad?

http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4026/screenshot2012011823380.jpg Glad I didn't put a lot of effort into Battlemaster until today.
  8. I'm glad there's no 50 afkers on my server. Something needs to be done about this. When there's only 8 people on your team and 25% of them are afking, trying to win a warzone becomes stupid.
  9. Yup that's what I meant. I reworded the original post to clarify.
  10. I finally won't have to deal with the 2-3 AFkers that end up on my team every warzone. I'm glad they finally did something about afkers, even if their fix is unintentional.
  11. I feel you OP. I just opened belt 4 and 5 off my weekly today. The worst part is, if I hadn't opened anything I would have been able to buy another centurion piece.
  12. I think we can all agree that mercs are the most boring class to play, and to play against. And that's why something should be done.
  13. I reported you for evading the censor. I think George Lucas would agree that the censor is there for a reason. I know it sounds ridiculous, but sometimes you have to be over the top to really make a point. Besides, I have a lot of trouble believing that in a world with thousands of planets, that a legitimate name is implausible. There's a guy on my server named Vanilla Bear. He's a cheesy looking, pale white, operative. I enjoy the name I every time I see it.
  14. I can't believe there are people who think the combat in this game is fluid, especially since ability delay has already been acknowledged by Bioware. Anyone who thinks combat in this game is fluid has never used grapple. The tooltip should read: "Has a random chance to teleport the target to somewhere."
  15. This is a large reason why I'm not renewing. I thought about it today, did my two dailies, opened my 6th belt token, and 3rd relic. The worst part is, if I hadn't opened anything, I would have been able to buy another centurion piece. Instead, I have more worthless crap in my cargo hold. So far at rank 45 I've opened 4 different pvp items (belt, relic, pants, bracers); meanwhile, one of my guildies was lucky enough to open five pieces in his first two days at 50.
  16. Ultimately, you still end up killing 10 boars, finding 8 keys, rescuing 8 generic mobs. It's like they wanted to make a single player game, but were forced to add layers of the same boring grind that every other MMO requires.
  17. I enjoyed the game for a few weeks. I don't plan on paying. It's entirely possible that I could return, but that all depends on the direction the game takes. If Bioware does something that motivates me to log in, then I will be back. As it is, when I stare at my desktop I see a bunch of game icons, and SWTOR is never the one I end up clicking.
  18. I think most of us would rather have them fix the bugs already in the game before adding new content. It does seem awfully convenient that the patch that was supposed to hit two days before everyone needs to pay, is coming out late.
  19. One of my friends has this exact problem. He dies, the bikes never appear, and then he is kicked for not leaving the spawn. I don't know of any fixes for it though.
  20. For some reason I thought force charge was on a 30 second cd, and didn't do damage. In that case, I agree with leaving the ability the way it is and making it baseline.
  21. Before I begin, this is all from my PvP perspective, but I am very interested in hearing PvE perspectives. I was wondering if it would be possible to make Jet Charge (and the Republic mirror) baseline, and move grapple to the 21 point shield tech talent. I feel that as a class we need an effective gap closer, and grapple is not effective. Grapple has its great moments, and from what I understand it is an awesome tanking ability; for dps though, grapple is ineffective because it only works on targets with no resolve, and it's quite buggy. Also, there are moments grapple can't be used for strategic reasons. For instance, in Huttball I may not want to pull someone to me, because I could be bringing the ball closer to my goal line or bringing an opposing dps in range of my ball carrier. I think some changes would be necessary, but it could be made similar to force leap. Drop all the added effects, increase the cool down to 30 seconds, leave only the base ability. As an added bonus, I've seen a few complaints that the Bounty Hunter rarely uses his iconic jet pack, this gives Bounty Hunters another baseline talent utilizing the jet pack, and the whole charge in general is a staple of the Bounty Hunter image. I'm curious what other people's opinions are on this idea, and whether you guys and gals think it's feasible.
  22. I've noticed this change as well. There's been a couple people I've tried to grapple, no resolve whatsoever, and it has just failed. It's very frustrating, to say the least.
  23. After seeing some of the Republic players who posted here, I think I'll take Huttball 80% of the time so I don't have to listen to the people on the Pub side. For the most part no one knew there was going to be a HUGE faction imbalance. Bioware claimed that it was roughly 55/45. The faction imbalance is Bioware's fault. Stop acting like hipsters because you made a character in a video game.
  24. Great video. Watching idiots fall for an obvious troll never gets old. Please don't stop making videos.
  25. I'm not sure how anyone can look at that picture and not think there is something wrong with the system. My condolences OP, but it looks like the luck train left without you.
