Honestly if you're hitting enrage timers and complaining about bad fight design at the same time, you are or most likely have a terrible group. the only somewhat but not at all too hard enrage timer, is hardmode fireband/stormcaller. If you're hitting an enrage timer, you're probably **** and won't be able to kill a boss with a slight amount of thinking, because dps in this game isn't hard. for 4 mans............................................... thats all, just ....................... TLDR.. cry me a river
  2. Did anyone actually get to a point where the purple circles became an issue?, like the room would be covered in them. My guild killed him with only 3 tank swaps which barely covers a quarter of the room even if you tried. They really should spawn every second would make the fight more entertaining imo. DO IT IN NIGHTMARE!

  4. Just aim for max defense till 24% then max absorb/shield, try and keep absorb and shield around the same percentage. Really Just make sure your gear isn't jam packed with surge and whatever other useless stats bioware puts on tank gear for whatever strange reason. Accuracy is debatable, but i don't really care for it as taunt doesn't miss, atleast not that i'm aware of and taunt is all you need for threat. Just to add my 2 cents into this, I think tanking in this should have a bit more solid ground, because right now its all rng you have a chance to dodge or absorb an attack and you have a chance to not at all.... what if you don't absorb or dodge anything for 10 attacks, well your healers are gonna be quiete happy, too bad theres only like 2 hard tank healing fights in game.
  5. Charge root may not work on people with bubble for some reason, not 100% if this is true, but everytime i charge someone and root doesn't go off it always seems to be a sorc.
  6. You don't need gear for anything at your level, well you do... but greens can suffice, with 40% prototype and 60% artifact which im assuming is orange, and i really don't care what it has in it, just do your thing and if anyone tells you your gear sucks... ignore them.
  7. Also the gift most likely does less damage in 16, making it worlds easier. and i never said getting out of it was hard its getting out of it, then immediately having to heal the tanks at 20% health getting their *** beat by a boss that can take 50% of their health in a global.

  9. It looks like mainly tionese marauder gear except for the chest, the chest is similar to the tionese chest except the shoulders are different.

Assassin tanks can solo tank fireband (or left tank) on the tank boss in denova by using a shroud through one of his cast things that he does and vanishing the other, on kephiss assasins are invaluable truly, as you absolutely need them to pull the bomber to mid to max dps, also their aoe threat is a jesus send for the adds in phase 2. also being able to mitigare every one of kephesses bleeds he puts on tanks when he first comes out. our guild constantly makes jokes about how inferior juggs are to assassins, and are constantly telling me to reroll assassin, only reason i havn't is because i can't be bothered leveling again.

  13. and what the ****, i just put on my pvp gear and pulled 1300 dps, do dummies count as players? Edit: nope just lucky crits i suppose.
  14. if i was to sit on the dummy all day and say my highest number i hit was my average dps, would that make it my dps? spiking to 1200 isn't hard. also the juggernaut is not hard at all in the slightest, isn't much to go wrong on. i did 1 test on each toon, also got another marauder from guild that parsed the same as mine, ill be doing more tests as the server were going down as i was doing them, even though i already know the answer.
  15. For our guild which is 4/4 hm Denova it goes like. 1. anni mara 2. hybrid sorc 3. ars merc 4. Madness assassin 6. conceal ops 7.veng jugg 8. mm sniper i wouldn't even include tanks on a dps list.
  16. Guard does not give you his threat nor does it reflect his damage taken onto you, what guard does is reduce their threat output by 30% and damage taken by 5%, the damage reflection is only in pvp.
  17. i can link logs, but im comtemplating whether anyone would take them seriously, though they are sound proof. But i can already hear the durp L2p Jugg or something stupid. Though i did find something interesting today doing tests, confirming what i already knew but also intrigued me. in all gear jugg did 1250 < (Thats actually exagerated i just added an extra 150 to make up for something that i might be missing), got on my marauder did 1500 with inferior gear. Then i did another test by taking of all my gear except weapon and focus or mainhand offhand for marauder, jugg did 750 and marauder did 850. even though my jugg has a 333 dps weapon and my marauder has 2 314's so the jugg has got a crutch. These were over 5 minute fights, with MoX Parser, i didn't take screenshots because the servers were coming down, but don't bother getting me on that cause i will just take some tomorrow.

Gift does no damage, your tanks all lol died in the last phase and you still won, droids have 8 man health, being able to kite kephess last phase with no tanks............................................................................... wut? also overall dps requirement being way lower. Seriously if you think the 16 man version of this fight is hard, you're a joke. just look at these videos, make sure to watch both in order at the correct times. 16 man at 6:35 ^ at 6:30, now the 8 man version It may not look like a hard mechanic, but that is running out with a marauder speed boost everyone busting pots and using cd's not to mention the utterly huge amounts of damage the tanks start taking immediately after it with only 2 healers to cover them while everyone is at -30%.

  20. Ahh, yes, now its collosal smash instead. use that on a overpower proc to get 2 overpowers and an ms with it, still point stands.
