  1. Level 47 Jedi Guardian seeking mature, active, and competent guild to join. I'm a huge pvper, but I don't mind pve in the least, and would appreciate a guild that communicates instead of makes assumptions or loses their cool under stress or pressure. I'm a recent transfer and stress activity as a must. I prefer to play with players that discuss and critique rather than ridicule and belittle, and have an all around team mentality instead of an individualistic mind set; more importantly don't use logical fallacies when someone states an opinion. Please contact me via this thread or in game at Artigin for interested parties.
  2. Active Jedi Guardian looking to join a robust, active, and social guild. I am an old player returning and currently in the lower 40’s. I plan on staying for quite some time and would like to be a part of a guild that boasts a community. My interests lie mainly in PVP, but I do not loath or detest PVE, as long as the players within the group play well and are competitive, and will work with new individuals and always open to learning, as I hold myself to those standards. Please contact me here or in game through the character Artigan on the Republic side.
  3. F' pvp bags, and F' you bioware. /end rage
  4. GZ explain something to me my man-brother-dawg. How is it "balanced" for any class to cleanse deadly saber, rupture, and crippling slash in one GCD? I'm just trying to think how it's totally awesome-fair-sauce for classes that operate at range, have heals, bubbles, four seconds stuns, disables, and knock backs to cleanse all that with one click of a button. For the life of me I can't fathom how this even makes GD sense, and maybe you GZ can shed some light on the situation with all that radical telemetry Bioware takes.
  5. Fact: Rage and Annihilation do more sustained and burst damage then Carnage. Opinion: Carnage is a fun spec. Misnomer, also known as misleading or lying: Carnage is a strong or superior spec compared to Rage or Annihilation.
  6. A person would be stating their opinion if he said carnage was a fun specialization. A person would show their lack of understanding the Marauder if he said carnage is a superior specialization, or even a good specialization. Carnage has no survivability, and unbound or defensive roll do not make for a good argument. Carnage's damage is less in comparison to annihilation's and rage's output. Annihilation is great in any situation. Rage is superior in warzones, and good in pve. Carnage is poor in both instances, and a one trick pony at best when it comes to damage output; which is very weak in comparison to annihilation and rage. A skilled player can work with carnage, but that doesn't mean that player isn't handicapping themselves. Their is no fault in liking carnage's game play, but saying the specialization is competitive is a bad joke in and of itself, and a misnomer to anyone trying to learn the ins and outs of the marauder archetype. I will put it as plainly as possible for those new to this crazy ride. Carnage Is Marauder's Weakest Specialization No Ifs Buts Or Ands I have personally tested all the specializations to death, and I can say without a doubt that annihilation has the most damage, survivability, and mobility of the three specializations, and the only saving grace for rage is the amount of sheer bust the spec can put out. Yet rage is a predictable specialization and the tells it gives off are tooobvious. A skilled player can and will avoid smashes.
  7. I want a GD force push, so every-time a f'ing Inq or Consular knocks me back I can spin right round, and give those SOBS a taste of their own medicine. Seriously, why can sorcs/sages have force sprint, but marauders/sentinels can't have a force push!? I'd f'ing love to see this GD argument. /begin fight Edit: Am I angsty from playing Huttball!? You'd be GD right sir!
  8. I hate RNG, and that is a main reason I detest PVE because certian individuals rationalize time, effort, and skill with random luck as an acceptable reward. How do you respond to tools like these? I can't clearly put them back in the box they came in, and I have no way to keep them quiet, and sadly that POS mentality has infected my first love in MMO gaming; which is player versus player. I like to have goals. I like to be rewarded for my efforts. I do not like gambling. I do not like having all my time and effort to afford me nothing because tier 1 pvp gear is a complete and utter joke both in stats and cost ratio. More importantly due to the RNG chance of acquiring a tier 2 piece turns tier 1 into place holders. Why the tokens were changed for battle master gear and not champion gear blows my GD mind.
  9. Giving range classes mobility boosts was such a GREAT IDEA BIOWARE. That concept isn't counter intuitive at all bro! Buff Sorcs/Sages. /Sarcasm F' this is WOW mages all over again. To be serious now, but force sprint should be a Sin/Shadow ability ONLY. Kinda like how you bone Sentinels/Marauders with no force push. EH-EH!?
  10. *********** nerf their cc into the ground! INTO THE GROUND!
  11. The fact a Warriors/Knights snares and bleeds can be cleansed is complete BS. Anyone who says otherwise is a tool.
  12. Nerfing operatives damage and keeping Consulars/Inquisitors and Troopers/Bounty Hunters knock backs the same is total bs. Not filling up the resolve ball to full is complete nonsense when war-zones ARE GROUPED BASE. No I do not play an operative or scoundrel, but I can say I love seeing operatives/scoundrels rolfownstomp easy mode classes like inquisitors, troopers, consulars, and bounty hunters that clearly have advantages other melee classes do not have at all in regards to balance.
  13. Marauders are literally broken. Christ, has English comprehension died in the past few years? Their are talents that do not work as intended which defines the term broke English learn it
  14. Not so much weak OP, but more so broke. Alot of talents are not working as intended, and tie that in with doing the same damage as other dps classes, ability delay, and server synching is a recipe for mad nerd rage.
  15. So carnage sucks even harder then previously known. I knew I hated this specialization for something other than it's shyt damage and survivability. So annihilation is broke with bleeds not incurring bleed out, and now hit box and los might effect ataru's damage check. Le-GD-sigh.
  16. Remove the healing and damage buff from expertise. Expertise is becoming such a retarded stat because it clearly caters to healers giving them an extra 10% or more buff to out play trauma and healing debuffs and scales the more they have.
  17. Sorcs, Sages, Commandos, and Mercenaries need to have their knock backs nerfed into the GD ground. THAT, or fix the GD resolve bar bioware. People are being cc'd to GD much for this BS to keep going on. Hey bro I got yo, knock back. No worries I'll come around and, knock back. **** their gonna score I'll force leap and, knock back. Hurry, knock back. I, knock back. knock back.
  18. Ravage, Force Choke, Ability Delay, Force Camo, horrid synching, bleeds broken and cleanse-able are just some of the issues still effecting Marauder. Bioware question, what the hell did you actually fix this patch for PVP other than 50 brackets? Bah-hum-bug. Edit: And *** is up with the resolve bar? Christ the resolve bar is worse off than it has ever been before.
  19. Players, testers, people, human beings, and humanoids with a moderate amount of intelligence told Bioware that Illum would need a zone cap. The sad part is everyone who tested Illum, or didn't, realized how the new implementation of the open world pvp would boil down to faction imbalance, and the players simply farming that imbalance. Are the developers currently working on Illum know what a video game is let alone an MMO? I don't need a degree in coding, computers, or even have a general knowledge of the gaming industry to know bad design when I see it. Matter of fact a reasonable human being would expect some amount of common sense to fall into place, and realize how big of a mistake these current changes would bring. If the software is an issue that is your problem Bioware, and you should seriously consider upgrading so in the future you're able to implement the correct features needed for open world pvp. It's sad that the players who played in earnest had to spend weeks, or more to earn their valor rank 60, yet with a lack of care, forethought, and prior planning players are now reaching valor rank 60 with the most idiotic of ease. Is that all Bioware knows how to do? Write a good story? Seems that way.
  20. Carnage is Marauder's weakest specialization. I am not trying to tell you how to play the class, but OP you are at a serious disadvantage while playing Carnage compared to Annihilation and Rage. If you enjoy the specialization OP, more power to you, but I would suggest testing out both Rage and Annihilation by level 40 and see which playlist fancies your boat.
  21. Oh marauder needs a buff, and how and when this is going to happen only time will tell. Carnage could use some major love, and Rage is so gimmicky it's become to easy to read when a heavy smash is coming, and annihilation lacks the omph to knock someone silly. I don't think the class is broken by any means, but when compared to other classes Warriors and Knights are the lowest on the food chain. If Bioware doesn't address damage as the fix then utility, mobility, and survivability needs another pass. I am not a fan of two rage mechanics, back loaded damage, and cd ridden abilities. Why players think and advocate Ravage is fine is merely one example of the more glaring issues for Warriors and Knights in general. Especially when server synching is an issue, ability bugs, and lag that slaps a player in the face when latency isn't an issue, frame rates are fine, but everything still goes to hell because the server and client need to catch up. Bottom line, everyone is doing the same damage no matter if their range or melee. Like I previously stated, I by no means think the class is weak, but Warriors and Knights in general are sub-par when compared to the over all state of PVP in it's current implementation. If a marauder does not fixate on getting medals his commendation in take can, and probably will suffer, if he or she plays an objective base game. Can Marauders obtain 8 too 10 medals a WZ? Yes. Do they need to use biochem, champion or battlemaster gear, and know how to play a piano? Yes. Though if the player can't reach 75k damage at level 50 even in crap blues then they probably will always have issues with the class.
  22. Bioware when duplications of champion unassembled gear is being given in champion bags then the amount of centurion tokens being awarded need to be re-looked at. The fact a player can totally bypass tier 1 through sheer luck is not fair to the players who pvp longer, fight harder, and are simply better. Grinding warzones, dailies, and weeklies for upwards to three months--I've done the math, so if you want to be a pretentious dick and say that I'm wrong go right ahead--to earn an entire set of tier 1 is a bit ludicrous because by that time the player will have well passed valor rank 60, and will be decked out in champion gear and battle master gear. So what is the point of centurion pieces? Is tier 1 simply a joke and filler pieces until valor rank 60? That's a bit insulting to wave these sets in-front of the player's face only to deny them every earning that reward at a legitimate pace and time because he or she lucked out, or simply grinded out of the tier before ever having a chance to actually progress. The absolute worst thing about centurion gear is the off chance the piece purchased is replaced by the very next champion bag bought. Honestly, why didn't your development team have the forethought for these kinda of glaring issues? These are quality of life issues.
