  1. Maybe someone could help me with a noob tech question please. I have an newer computer running windows 7, and wanted to try and use my old evga Geforce 8600 GT graphics card because it should be better then what is stock in the new computer. The card is directx 10 from my last computer that ran vista. The funny thing is that the first time I hooked it up to the new comp, the graphics were ugly-but I was able to update the drivers and run the game. It ran smooth (really smooth), but I had a hard time turning the computer off, and when I tried to turn it back on, windows will not start up. Should I expect this card and computer to work together, or do I need to break down and buy a new card? It would work nice if it ran like it did the first time, but I can't even turn the computer on with the card inserted. Any help or info is appreciated, the nividea website wasn't much help. Thank you for your time.
  2. The companion argument is an interesting one. I personally would see that as a "greed" role, the same as if I were planning on giving it to an alt. The player who has a genuine use for that item trumps that or your npc companion IMO. The rule that I follow is only roll "need" if you are planning on immediately equipping or in another level or 2 when it becomes usable (if that is the case). For an item that you can use but someone can use more, that is a matter of politeness. I would also call that a "greed" roll.
  3. N'tsah and Sephita Meiwe here. Shadowfire Defenders Of Hope. I'm not going to trash the EMU, but here I am-waiting for my email. Preordered Nov, so not holding my breath. Nice to see SF representing! Have fun!!
