I have been doing lvl 50 Ops, HM's and PvP as IA-Operative-Medic. This is 100% my take on the situation. I could write a 30 page paper explaining how we are gimped right now for PvE heals and what our weaknesses in PvP could be its own dissertation. I do not like being carried, but I DEFINITELY feel like I am being carried right now by my guildmates and teammates in pvp. Maybe I am the bad-luck guy though? Because I played Holy Pally in WoW for 5 years and got **** on constantly. I really don't know what I am going to do to be honest, I am not going to spend another year of my life playing THE WORST HEALER in a game. Here I thought I was safe because I was picking a class with weak armor and HoTs... surely they wouldn't make THAT the worst healer right? FAIL.
I don't really want to play a BH-Merc but since we already have a quality Sorc I will probably end up starting one if my Operation tonight goes the same way it has so far. Sucks that it'll be two months before I have a BH-Merc caught up though since I won't be able to level him like I did the IA due to planned time off etc.
In PvE I just spam HoTs and KInj, SP is purely a gamble button for me. If I feel like I have a TON of HoTs rolling out there I'll gamble that I can slap a few SP's on a target in a row (works in PvP too). Please note, this IS a gamble lol. So if it is serious content it is HoTs and Kinj. Kinf is only for when you are being focused in PvP and can't get a full Kinj off
So everyone here who has actually played the IA-Op-Medic at max level in Operations, Hardmodes and PvP has already said it. We need to be able to bubble others, some different energy regen mechanic or SOMETHING. The only way I can dominate healing in PvP is if I healbot a Sith Juggernaut right now and he guards me non-stop. So PvP I am less concerned with, PvE.... Hardmodes are a ****in ***** as this class >.<
