  1. First they nerf my DPS op into oblivion. Now they nerf my Shield tech into oblivion (rank 84 full war hero). Just cancelled. Just finished guild wars 2 beta weekend and it was amazing. Was hoping to play swtor at least until it comes out. Guess not. Hopefully bioware will get their shiz together by time i get bored of guildwars....but i doubt it. They arent getting my subscription $$$.
  2. Pretty much how i feel. Im not gonna be strung along for 8+ monthsand $120 laters befoe they finally get their crap together. Ill come back when they make some major changes. already preordered GW2
  3. Maybe 3 months to make a totally new pvp game. Not to take an existing pvp game like hutball and just change the field layout.
  4. It sure doesnt seem like they are putting enough effort in this game to get $15 from me every month. PVP is just repetive and boring now. I mean, how hard would it be to add like 10 new warzone maps? You dont even need to make new games. Make a tatooine, hoth, volcan version of novare. Make a few more huttball maps with different obstacles. Jesus bioware....fed up here
  5. This game is done for now. I don't see a major refit of the whole system coming anytime soon to fix this game. I plan on cancelling. Hopefully 8-12 months down the line they will get thier stuff together when they are begging for subscriptions.
  6. Lets be real guys, is there anyone in this thread HAPPY with all the CC's in this game? If bioware could remove at least 50% them, and rebalance all classes to make it fair for everyone, wouldnt you want that? If you say no, im not sure what to say. TOO MUCH CC IS NOT FUN
  7. They will only have 20 seconds uninterruptble uptime if people are foolish and fill their resolve bar. This game has people trained in spamming CC's. Add roots to the resolve bar and be smarter about using your cc's
  8. Just because snipers are "helpess" without their no resolve root , does not mean roots shouldnt be added to resolve. It means snipers should be buffed in some other fashion to make up for it.
  9. First of all, i know roots arent affect by resolve. I was asking WHY IT IS NOT. It should be. I know it breaks on damage, therefore it is weaker then a stun. But it should at least add 25% to the resolve bar because it is still a CC, jsut a weaker one. Second, my huttball is hotkeyed. I basically have to spaming it until i can finally key the target open long enough to pass it. This is a stupid game mechanic.

  11. lol at roots "not being CC's" Is this your first MMO? Mezz's are crowd controls Stuns are crown controls Snares are crowd controls Roots are crowd controls And telling me that "oh pass the ball" Really Sherlock? Now the person i pass to gets the same treatment of endless CC. Yes CC adds an element of strategy to counter, but IT IS NOT FUN. It is frustrating for everyone. Who says it wouldnt be MORE strategic to find a way to stop a team without SPAMMING CC. Spamming CC is brainless. Choosing the Right time to use CC takes WAY more skill.
  12. So im playing huttball last night. I have 2 guys healing me as i grab the ball from the middle and make my way towards there goal line. I got my iphone stopwatch going. I make it probably 10 feet in the span of 50 seconds holding the ball. Between stuns, roots, mezz, snares etc etc. Really? Why arent roots and snares affected by resolve? And why cant a grapple someone with full resolve? If they can root me, why cant i pull them? What is the logic behind this ? Wouldnt it make more sense to be immune to all CC whilst your resolve bar is full? Wouldnt it make sense to get some sort of immunity to all cc after you use yer stun breaker? even 5 seconds? Games are meant to be fun. Being cc'd for 50 second continously is not entertaining at all. Anyone else think the whole system is ridiculous? edit: Oh and why does my huttball pass target disapper when i get cced? Why do i have to keep spamming my hotkey so hopefully i can get a target so i can pass the ball in the split second before im cc'ed again. Why cant the target just stay open the whole time. Just seems ridiculous....

  14. II ran an OP to rank 72, i quit playing him late january and leveled my Powertech. I would say Powertechs are finne as is, but DPS OPs should be put back to RELEASE state. They are way underpowered right now. Otherwise put their Battle stealth on a 30 second cool down or something. Because they are very subpar and almsot the worst class once they blow their opening attack.
  15. Iron fist will lose. I ran Iron Fist until the 1.2 changes. Heatblast is amazing and makes it way more bursty than a IronFist. ST vs Pyro, equally geared opponents i win 50% of the time. Ide say they are equal. all depends who gets luckier and who has cooldowns up.

    Buff Operatives

    Put the stealth in combat ablity on a 30 second cooldown. I think that would effectivly balance ops. I have a valor rank 72 op in full battlemaster (shelved as of 1.2) and honestly it is a very weak class. It needs something. Currently i am playing a valor 82 shieldtech Powetech and i cant tell you how much infinily more usefull it is in warezones than my op. 1. Can guard 2. Can tanut everyone making them do 30% less damage 3. Can crit for 3200 all the time without ever running out of energy. which is better than an op who can crit once or twice before he gasses out. I can crit 3200 + 1200 from my heatblast since its off global cooldown. 4400 dmg and it costs me a SLIVER of heat. 4. Can pull enemies, INSTA KILLING THEM IN HUTBALL Thats INSTA 20K damage. 5. Can force jump every 15 seconds and it interuupts and roots 6. A shield thats infintly better than the ops 7. A hot that healls me, whilst a op has to stop and cast if they are dps specced. Easily interrupted. 8. Oh an Op uses his battle stealth, i instaly toss out a stealth scan and root him. 9. Oh an op gets some luckly crits on me, i carbonite freeze him and jump to his friend 15m away and snare him and run circles arounf him, HE CAN NEVER GET TO ME. 10. Can interrupt every 8 seconds Sorry OPS need help (Concealment). They are pathetic right now. I wont play mine till bioware makes them right. They are doing it wrong. I 99% of the time have MORE damage at the end of the round than the best OPS and im TANK SPEC. And i have WAY WAY more utility.
  17. I hated huttball on my operative. We were pretty much worthless. As a powertech i like huttball alot, i feel im making a difference. Now Assassins on teh other hand are just simply OP in huttball. I mean immune to everything + forcespeed? lol.....
  18. So i was playing a Alderon and there was an assasin guarding. I'm a rank 80 powertech (shieldtech) and usually i can take down any spec assassin. Well thi guy i could barely get his life bar below 90%. He jsut kept healing somehow. So at the end of his match, i looked, he had 30k protection, and 78k healing. And his highest single heal was 1503. Is this possible?
  19. I dont get it, healing looks fine to me. At the end of most matches a healer still hes for arounf 400k. Where in the same match the highest dps is about 400k. 400k healing vs 400k dps seems balanced. Pre-patch you owuld see 600k from the highest healer and 400kish from the top dps. How was that balanced? You think you should be able to heal more than DPS can put out? Lol, how is that balanced?

Anyways ive been running above spec the last 2 days. I dont have any logs or hard numbers. But i did pull off a few 400k+ voidstars. I also notice maruders arent hitting me as hard either. But the heatblast is just amazing. Drop it at the same time as a rocket punch or railshot and it does some great burst. (3200 crit plus a potential 1200 crit = awesome) All im really loosing out on is the +8% dmg on rocket punch. Which is like ~300 damage, easily made up by the heatblast, plus its free and -8 heat. And im losing the 6 sec quell, but thats bout it. We have so many interrupts as it is its not a huge loss. And heat levels are much more manageble, prolly another reason im getting much higher damage than iron fist. My gear is combat tech, 1164 expertise. im rank 76,
  21. sorrry, you people saying ops are fine are delusional. I have a valor 67 ops and a 65 powertech. In huttball I am infinite more valueable. There is not one single thing my ops can do better. "oh you can stun lock someone and kill them" Guess what? that's gonna take all my cooldowns and relics/stims. On my powertech....1 button. pull into fire, boom instant kill. Yea I can score 400k+dmg games on my op. But I can also score 300k games on my tank specced powertech. Andthat doesn't including the 200k worth of instant deaths from grapple pulls. and I guard ball carrier and I can jump back to ball carrier the intant get knocked off platforms I can make game changing saves with my grapple, defensively and offensivly I can interrupt the crap out of healers every 6 seconds I can critical for 3.5k all day tank specced
  22. Its not so much a problem shutting down one merc, but when you have more more above you afk spamming tracer missle at everything the damage is exponential. Now it will take more effort to get the same results. Which i am fine with. Basically baddies are gonna get badder (lol) and good players will be uneffected and possibly boosted.

Alot less newbs spamming on me who dont deserve to do so much damage with such little effort. On the other hand, skilled players will probably be buffed from this. In there current state its easy as hell to shut down a spammer, but its sounds like from this nerf/buff, it will be harder. So i guess its a nerf to the n00bs, and a buff to the good players. What do yall think?
  24. Yes, they are pretty much useless in huttball. Seriously what can you do? You can turn a 8v8 into a 7v7. Explain to me how you can stop a ballcarrier? DPS him out? Any smart team is gonna have a tank guarding an inquistor and yer gonna run out of endurance b4 you can even scratch him. You cant knock him off the platform unless u can get vveyr well planned hidden strike, and hes runnign along the edge. And even if you do get close to him hes gonna knock you into the pit and you are useless for the next 30 seconds. Either that our hes gonna speed run through the fire and leave you in teh dust. I rerolled a powertech just because of how operatives are useless now. All they had was insane damage. Now they have average damage and nothing else. There is no reason to have them on your team With my powertech, i can guard a ball carrior, save a game from a score with grapple, fly up to my enemy and DPS them, drop aoe damage on a mob of baddies. What can you do? mediorce dps. Thats it. Everyone else can do that and have a ******** of game winning/saving manueviers.
