  1. Do you mean turn SWTOR into a FPS? If so, I want to put in a vote for "Hard No!". I greatly enjoy the "distance" and "perspective" given in games like SWTOR, WoW, Diablo, and others that enable me to see the entirety of my toon, their immediate surroundings, and for lack of a better term make the game less like a FPS console game. Moreover, I would hate for the only time I could see the dazzling outfits I put my toons into being infrequent cutscenes.
  2. Is there any talk about getting full fledged outdoor flying mounts? This ability could be tied to character level and/or a Legacy unlock. SWTOR has an enormous game play area, and a lot of it is simply tedious run through, or Quick Travel back to the speeder/train station. Having the option or ability to fly would give players renewed interest in exploration of the world maps.
  3. Just got back into play CRPGs, specifically SWTOR, after a lengthy absence. I can say that the game experience for me has substantially improved. Many things I am liking are the collections tab. I have so many options that were previously locked to a single toon, or were lost because I vendored or dusted the item. All it takes is a few cartel coins and the items I want are a click away. Another important mention goes to removing the need to upgrade the gear on companions. That was a hassle. Like never using T7 for 20+ levels and suddenly needing him and thus dropping 100000k credits to upgrade his Coruscant gear. So happy that is done with. But, what I am enjoying the most is the use of the space bar in a character's name. I have a legacy name, but way back when the the option to simply hit the space bar was verboten. Loving this change! Hawk
  4. Thanks, I took a long leave from video games in general (5 years or so) and wasn't aware of that. I am obviously just learning the changes to the game since that time. I mean the concept of Legacy wide Materials Storage instead of chucking that stuff in my Cargo Hold until it was time to craft is a WOW!
  5. Now that would be interesting. Allowing Light Side/Dark Side alignments to shift a toons allegiance would be a nice trick. Crew Mission rewards would have to be rebalanced because they are primarily bent to which ever side you are playing. FOREX my Sith Assassin gets Dark Side for each of his Crew Skill Missions and there are no Light Side choices to select. If a fix for that is developed, it would be cool to play as a toon in a redemption or damnation arc.
  6. Agreed. Although world expansions and end game expansions are nice for players that enjoy high tier activities, there are those more casual players that find chapters 1-3 of the class story arcs most satisfying. Developing a new class, even though it would take substantial recoding of existing worlds to add in the class specific zones and animations to cut scenes, would be worth it to the developers because it would result in more revenue being plugged back into the system. Making a new class and making it faction agnostic would draw people back to the game and hopefully introduce new players. I know people really don't like to make comparisons, but WoW with it's Cataclysm expansion is the model Bioware and EA should emulate. As they work in the new class, they could/should rework the graphics engine and coding and revamp most of the older questlines and starting areas. Mirroring the storylines in the game's history a renewed/new threat from outside the Rep/Imp conflict would be a wonderful reason and backdrop for the changes to starting zones and chapters 1-3 missions.
  7. Like "Name Lastname"? I would dearly love to know -JP
