Problem with that if someone dies on a floor drop there corpse can get bugged when it lands on the bottom floor and give you an error message that they are to far or be completely untargetable for the brez. The bosses enrage is set to 4 pillar drops on phase 3 ur better of taking ur time finnishing up phase 2 and doing it safely then rushing to get to phase 3
  2. Lightning probably needs sustained but with the current state of pve at 50 there is a reason hybrid sims higher and that has plenty of sustain. I've messed around with 31 lightning for end game and the only time I felt it was better then hybrid was aoe clearing trash so imo it sucks and should never be used because even with the aoe clearing it only does it slightly faster then a hybrid.
  3. I don't invest my downtime properly or as much time as a hardcore player its not fair give me free lewt!!!!!!! People that invest more time in there characters shouldn't get an advantage it isn't like they worked for it like I did. They think there better then me because they do there dailys for there bm bag then do hms for alloys and raids to get access to diffrent mods/enhancments to change there stats that I don't have access to because I just sign on to do my dailys then sign out!!!!   4. if thats the case I shoot for 150 and put crit and surge to 350 I just wanted to know before hand to determine what extra columi pieces I would need to grab for enhancements mods will of course take longer to switch out since I would have to wait each week for raids and then hope for drops and wait for the other sorc to get his rakata pieces aswell.

From a dps stand point I was aiming for the following for pve stats i haven't begun to figure my pvp ones yet because I just go with what works for now as situations can change and diffrent stats can come into play as to what is better on a class by class basis imo. Off Pieces Rakata Force masters Ear piece Rakata Stalkers Implants Rakata Force masters OH, Bracers Rakata Stalkers belt Set pieces full masters rakata set Pants switch out enhancement for our columi helm crit/surge one Chest and boots remoded with mods from an extra helm/gloves change out enhancements for ia columi power/surge Helm and Gloves left as is Weapon Left as is Relics 1 Matrix I Power Buff End stats would put me at over 1900 willpower self buffed with rakata stim and our buff. Close to 300 crit and surge some where around 200 alclarity and over 300 power. So my question is would I be better off ripping some more crit/surge mods out of columi gear and putting them into the alclarity spots and droping on that and power? The question is is it worth it though since crit and surge will already be at 300 or very close to it with in 10. Is the DR on those not so bad that dropping the extra alclarity/power is warrented. I mean even if I go to 350 in reality that is only one power/alclarity enhancement changed to crit surge and one mod changed to a crit one over a power one.
  6. So is crit to 300 still correct then? Or should I just keep going with this? I don't avoid alclarity but I'm not going out of my way to get it.
  7. So this gets asked alot I know -.- But I want to be sure I have the right stats in the right places since 1.1.2 or w/e one it was that changed surge. I got 300 crit from off pieces then on my set I switched all my enhancements over to power and surge have not hit 300 on the surge yet but I have a few pieces I need to upgrade/switch over and It will be in this range. But this follows thru for both heal and dps speced sorcs correct? 300crit 300 surge then dump the rest into power and alclarity if you have the room for it? I ask because I still see some people saying go all crit/surge for your enhancments but I hit the crit 300 mark pretty fast and this is when DR is supposed to kick in pretty bad if I remember correctly from what I read so I can't see why it would be wise to continue to add to it when I could add more power in while still gaining the surge 300 that I am looking for. Also for the Mod slot to be optimal you want the mod that will always offer the highest willpower since it adds to multiple offensive/healing stats correct?

  9. Yep. If you cast it on yourself then run thru fire you will proc the 2.5k heal even.
  10. He's just a bug filled boss that has mechanics that need to be executed and the bugs present problems with this. Such Bugs that can be encountered and should be planed for Phase 3 people getting ported to there own instance when he lands happened to me and one of our healers just tonight. Phase 2 and 3 even when hitting 5 or more things during drops he will randomly bug and keep 2 charges. Phase 3 droping agro on mind trap still. You can work around with 2 tanks so you always have taunts up or atleast one class that is a hybrid tank/dps so he can pop cds/taunt if this happens. If you don't run into any bugs you should be in the clear and even the mind trap bug can be planed around but the first one and sometimes the 2nd one can make for wipes that otherwise shouldn't happen when executing mechanics perfectly
  11. You sir are correct. I didn't notice the maruader buff I had on me -.- it was boosting my bonus healing from tech power and I forgot it did that.... really need to lvl one of them up so I stop forgetting what there buff does.
  12. must be dif for operatives then cuz I get less healing from power then i do tech power. Like I said never healed on my sorc so just assumed they were the same.
  13. right but power does not scale at a 1 to 1 ratio for healing you don't get 1 extra healing for every point of power you have. example 500 power on my op would result in me having an extra 80 healing 500 tech power equals around 110 extra healing. healers get reduced stats from both force/tech power and power even more then dmg dealers do because they get reduced aswell Switch your stat page to tech/force and pop a power relic and you'll see what I mean.
  14. Never speced heals on my sorc so I can't say for certain but on my operative the triage one ends up granting more + healing then the attack one. Idk if sorc healing scales at a diffrent ratio though. Cuz the extra power from attack on an operative would only next me an extra 80 healing power where as the triage would grant 110 to 120 extra healing.
  15. the stalker set gives you more range on your interupt and your snare. it also buffs your crit buff by making it have a shorter cd and making it effect 1 additional spell so you can crit with 3 before it wears of instead of just 2
  16. I use something along those lines for pvp. People can hate on it but play the way that you excel with and have fun with it. I've played other mmos with specs that were supposed to be worse then x spec and out performed those players using it simply because I was more comfortable with my spec and knew what exactly I could do with it because I made it myself. With everything being single server based just make sure you don't make a fool of yourself with it because reputations are hard to lose in mmos that are starting up where people recognize names from past groups/wzs.

If your class doesn't have a knockback on a reasonable cd you shouldn't be standing out in the open on cat walks it will lead to being charged there are ways for you to travel around the map w/o opening your team up to being scored on. Force speed has a cd to it it's not like the guy grabed it then zipped all the way to your goal. Your sorcs/mercs/snipers should be up on the your catwalks making sure that mid is under your control and preventing sorcs from sneaking on them and positioning themselves to pull a ball carryer closer. These skills are all part of the game. If you play properly and use "teamwork" in a team game you have a better chance of winning. Most sorcs save there burst for the last fire pit to make the trip over it as short as possible because by the time you get to it you can usually be cced again. Sorcs that like to pull people run ahead of the group follow them knock them off then jump off so no one jumps to u. You can still hit people from the lower platform if you position yourself properly. Charges are easy to anticipate and if people are constantly scoring id yell at my teamate or I would feel pretty stupid myself if I was the target he kept charging.
  18. Meh I laugh when it happens to me cuz I usualy never carry the ball it's typically out of spite that they do it because I killed them or them and there friend and they got all butt hurt about it. It makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside knowing I got to someone that much.

    I must admit I follow all these rules minus tab targeting in this game it has the most bizzare sense of priority i have ever seen in an mmo. Also i click momentary buffs out of fear I'll smash them in a frenzy =/
  20. A good sniper with a pocket healer can do some nasty things in huttball and thats a game all about mobility. I have a guildie that likes to run with me when I'm healing wz's and I go outta my way to keep him alive. Seen 2 to 3 guys try beating on him while I heal him he'll root anyone that trys to come to me and make there life a living hell but honestly I have never seen anyone play sniper like he does the dude is a baws
  21. Problem you can't just count the healing from DS alone since he front loaded 2x kp and RN on the target and between DS he spends his TA procs on SP. As for your argument on your crit rating thats great but you can't bring crit into the equation just for your portion of an arguement you also need to apply it to his side of the arguement then and assume half his HoT's and half his channle and half his SP proc in that situation. 3.5k is a total non crit pvp reduced estimate for a dbl stack of KP at it's full duration meaning overall healing dealt. As my single ticks no crit pvp hit for 500 crits for 1k and there are 7 ticks. Thats full champ gear as well stats since thats what im wearing and since thats what I tested and know from running wz's. Like i said I'm not deffending RN I think it's **** but if your gonna attack the guys numbers esp having a degree in science you know that you need to take variables into account RN and KP being up are set variables you even open your arguement talking about him applying them first. Assuming he gets his full roations off your talking 14.3k healing this is assuming half of each crit which even with a baseline of 50% you can't do because of rng but the reason I post this even though it is only 2.3k higher then your math is because it proves a better point it provides less effecient healing overall then you did. Between the ammount of time he spent standing still, the amount of time it took to get that healing out and the energy spent it does not = a practical way to heal in pvp. Or pretty much anywhere your talking less then a dpsers health healed over 15sec of time of which you had to spend 9 of those sec rooted and expelled way to much energy to do so. Opening you up to an interupt which would force you into a KI SP roation after you already poot yourself in a bad energy situation with your rn and KP. Worst case scenario you get interupted on ur first tick of DS and it didn't crit your not in a happy place right now and if the person ur healing is taking pressure it just made things worse. It also proves as a good point as to how weak some of our spells are esp the higher up ones and the fact that they should get a looking at. Since he uses every spell that has talents available to it minus infusion and injection and only comes up with 2k more healing then someone spamming KI and SP. The only way were gonna get the scrubs to listen is if you post the math out properly. I bashed your math for a reason you scrambled it all up didn't post clear information on his side and never reached an end point for what he healed for after how long. Yeah your numbers for your side were good but if you don't what his are in a clear way people will still go on thinking it's good when it isn't and needs looking at. End numbers Hot based healer 14.3k healing over 16.5sec KI+SP spam 12k after 7sec These are averaged out numbers meaning I set 50% baseline crit for both specs to be fair to both sides. This is why RN is BAD this is why DS is BAD as a healing spell and should only be ued to boost energy. It also makes KP look pretty bad outside TA procs for an extra SP which even that is eh kinda weak imo but I need to play around with my sorc in healing spec a bit more to reach any sure answer. Injection is sadly our best source or healing with SP adding to it purely for the free heal aspect and the chance for ur energy to regen some more.
  22. Our whole healing tree needs work imo compared to sorcs and mercs just feels like theres synergizes better. I just looked over the merc but I have a 50 sorc to and that just feels like the synergy is loads better then ours. They did a good job with conceal tree not posotive on leathality never played it other then hybrid with mainly healer focused for the extra energy regen. It also feels like they forget that for us to add to a fight other then heals were limited to 10m including our interupt and cc sure we got a dot and pew pew we can do from 30m like the other healers but they can also help with cc and interupts from 30m out which imo should be looked into.
  23. Point being for a 1min cd that only effects ourself it should probably be a little more deffensive then a shield that can barely stand up to a single hit. Even % shields end up providing more def then our shield probe and probably prevent more dmg over a long term then our shields *cough merc *cough* and those fkrs get to wear heavy armor so there already taking less dmg then us.
  24. You should learn to time debuffs so you screen then evasion as evasion does not break stealth and a dot can not be reapplied to you since your hidden. l2play stealth classes more efficently. This method has never failed me once minus ability lag and evasion not going off but things have gotten better with the few patches since this has started to be addressed. Evading first is just a giant green marker to the enemy to hey dot me now. When I see an OP jump out on someone I heal that person up and I dot the op once then stun him. If he breaks I stun again if he evades to stealth I throw my aoe dot at him and if I'm really lucky the animation lands exactly when he restealths pulling him out at the exact moment he stealths if im unlucky hits him first then pulls him out. Srsly bad op evade first good op evade 2nd. For pvp you should really have both evasion and screen bound to make sure you can land both back to back asap. Since dot's arent effected by alclarity you know there tick time and can land evasion between screening and next dot tick. Evasion does not make you evade any player atk other then the most standard one all special atks that cost something still hit meaning you pop ur evasion first people land a new dot on you. And dude probe does not shield more than sorc shields at all. Play a sorc and test it you will find yourself sadly mistaken.
  25. Shield probe is a joke it doesn't absorb that much dmg before it breaks it's a crappy 1min cd that can't even absorb the dmg of a dot. Evasion is a crap move as well outside it clearing debuffs from us it pretty much is useless. As it only effects standard attacks great I can dodge and avoid the weakest move in the game thats effective. Also as I have told my guildes Evasion does not equal god mode even w/ clearing dots. I tell them guys bad Operatives/Scoundrals pop this before there smoke screen as soon as you see a green bubble hit them with a dot it will land since evasion doesn't effect specials and it doesn't prevent the addition of new debuffs while active so as soon as they smoke screen wait 1 2 sec and they will come right back out.
